I haven't once been to baby clinic. I have weighed DS a couple of times. At three months, he weighs just under 14lbs. DD is just 2. She weighs just under 28lbs Shock

fruitpastilles · 05/02/2013 21:14

I last had Sinead weighed at 7 weeks, she's 12 weeks now. I'm getting her weighed on Thursday. She was 10.10 last time. I'm quite intrigued as to what she will be on Thursday.

MissMummy1 · 05/02/2013 21:22

M was 12lbs1oz at 9 weeks today.

glendathegoodwitch · 05/02/2013 21:25

It was red and gloopy and it was right up the back of her nappy so exploded out - the rest of it was green seedy mustard.

She's absolutely fine - been at the childminders for first time today and took milk well and just had wet nappies.

Will monitor next nappies overnight and get drs appt in the morning

OMD congratulations gt ahhhhhh lil n has already got a lil brother/sister baking in the oven!!! Please don't vanish to the antenatal thread completely -we love your random posts!!!!

vq hope drs have fast acting miracle cure - try and rest as much as poss easier said than done with 3kids I know

Kyzordz · 05/02/2013 21:27

Hope he settles back to normal during the night evil

Maybe ring nhsdirect glenda? Never had a DD but mum said sometimes bloody looking mucus is expelled from the vagina (as someone said above) so perhaps it's that? Is she normal in herself? Hopefully it's nothing to worry about!

DS is asleep, he wanted bed early today, he actually seems to be wanting an earlier bed time, it was 8:30 for about a fortnight but he has wanted 8/8:15 for a few days now. By want I mean he cries and whinges in the bath and then goes straight to sleep when put down. Perhaps as he is having less day sleep I need to bring bedtime forward. Despite jabs he has slept 2 hours today since 7am to 8pm so no wonder he is nackered!!

Just wondering how long after jabs can they get a temp/seem poorly? He's been ok so far but does that mean he won't get anything or could something still present itself like a fever or something? Jabs were 10:40 this morning x

Kyzordz · 05/02/2013 21:28

Sorry glenda didn't see your post before I posted!

horseylady · 05/02/2013 21:31

kyz - ds had his jabs last week and was ok. He felt slightly warm at about 9pm so I gave some Calpol. Apart from that he was fine?!

Ds was weighed last week and was 13lb at 13 weeks. I don't think he's put much on tbh. But he's drinking 7-9oz per feed!! And moving soooooo much. Wonder who takes after??!!

Long hair tied back. Seriously no idea how people do short hair and look good.

GTbaby · 05/02/2013 21:34

Thank u everyone.
I'm to nervous to post on oct 13 thread. What if they don't like me!

daisychain76 · 05/02/2013 21:35

Wow, congrats gt!

georgee · 05/02/2013 21:42

Congratulations GT - it'll be fantastic, I'm sure they'll be really close at quite a young age and will be able to entertain each other. We've got a lady at our toddler group who has just 12 months between the two - things are going well for her.

ValiumQueen · 05/02/2013 21:43

To know you is to love you GT

MissMummy1 · 05/02/2013 21:48

Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Warning: totally irrelevant pish that's been bothering me for a few days!

I will be graduating in July this year. Debated going back to do an honors/post grad year next year but realised I can't justify the time (or expense) just now so have decided to graduate with my year group who stayed on and poss go back in future when there are more jobs at end of it and I get bored of running my own business. I digress. We get 2 tickets per person. Can apply for more but unlikely to get them. Obviously my mum and stepdad are coming. However I also want DH to be there. And M, although I have a feeling this is frowned upon Sad . There is no way a 7 month baby could sit quietly for 2 hours. I will struggle! If I don't get the extra ticket, who should sacrifice their place and look after M for the day? Stepdad or DH? Doesn't help it's also 200 miles away from home and my grad ball is 3 days later. So I think my suggestion is mum and stepdad attend ceremony while DH explores the city with M, we stay up for a few days and hope SIL will take M for night of grad ball which DH can attend and be part of? (parents going on holiday straight after ceremony) He was with me for virtually my whole degree and I want him to be part of me saying goodbye to that chapter of my life.

Sorry I'm vocalising what's in my mind. Ignore this post! (what would you do though??)

zcos · 05/02/2013 21:53

I think your plan sounds good the ball will be best bit for dh he will be bored at ceremony its a long thing to sit through for about 30 secs of you.

zcos · 05/02/2013 21:54

oh congrats gt ... I wanna try for number 2 in December my friends think I'm mad!

Brockle · 05/02/2013 21:56

congrats gt Grin my nephews are 11 months apart and really good friends, very close.

GTbaby · 05/02/2013 21:58

What a lovely thing to say VQ. Thanks

Mm. Apply for the ticket, try ur luck. Take m if u get ticket!
For me graduation was ALL about the picture. Would be lovely to have M in your picture!
My sister came just to be in our family portrait then left as she had to go to uni.

GTbaby · 05/02/2013 22:00

So maybe DH n M can join u for the pic then dinner after with ur dM n Step dad.

horseylady · 05/02/2013 22:01

What's your degree in? I asked and got extra tickets for mine. So did dh when he got his msc. Not thought about what I'll do when I get mine. If not go with your plan? It's your ceremony who do you want to be there most?!

Post gt!!!! You might not like them :)

Right today small dog has not been out of my sight after running off twice yesterday. Hard hard work...

PetiteRaleuse · 05/02/2013 22:04

Yay. Late evening temp check and it's fine.

ValiumQueen · 05/02/2013 22:17

Good news PR

I did not even bother going to my graduation ceremonies. I have not got a pic of me, but DD1 had a pic when she graduated from nursery.

I am praying my sterilisation worked. I would be horrified if I were to get pg. I think another one would finish me off.

Have crammed three doses of antibiotics and feel like things are loosening a bit.

FatimaLovesBread · 05/02/2013 22:18

Ms temp was fine. Her bath however was not, she was v upset for some reason and then kept getting upset afterward. After a screamy feeding session she sparked put on me at 8:30!!! I've just transferred her now and she's still sparko. Wonder if she's moving her bed time all by herself?

Ahhh this talk of number two is reminding me that DH and I really need to discuss it. We have a frozen embryo that we've paid for storage for three years so until March 2015. We also have frozen sperm but its storage runs out in Marh this year. I don't think we can afford further storage for the sperm at the moment. But we need to discuss when/if we want to use the embryo? What happens if the embryo doesn't work? What happens if we decide on another go at IVF but we find we can't use his sperm but we've got rid of his frozen sperm? Ahh too much to think about ConfusedGrin

PetiteRaleuse · 05/02/2013 22:21

Good news VQ.

MissMummy1 · 05/02/2013 22:29

Education horsey It started as a biomedical degree, switched to neuropsychology, developmental psychology and then teaching Confused ....

He could lurk around the campus and be there for photos and meal. Obv I would love him to be there but he is already moaning about cost and having to take time off work (yet the selfish bugger thought nothing of taking a week off im October and spending £5/600 on a sailing jolly Envy Angry )

MissMummy1 · 05/02/2013 22:30

VQ he didnt go to either of his graduations. His way of sticking two fingers up to conforming and his parentsHmm

MissMummy1 · 05/02/2013 22:32

Matilda is feeling very sorry for herself post jabs Sad . Keeps looking up at me and crumbling into tears. Proper tears for the first time ever Sad . It's heartbreaking!Lots of cuddles and calpol spat out down mummys top
