Nope! I can assure you VQ that I have seen nought of your norks

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 20:55

I bf in public, but possibly very badly. I have yet to finish making my nursing bra, and the ones I bought from Mothercare as a treat are woefully inadequate. I wore one last time I went gallivanting, and felt very self conscious. A good bra makes a lot of difference. I should go top commando and just tuck them in my waistband when not in use. Not that I ever get to go out 'cos my kids are always sodding ill.

Never did hear back from NHS24. She remains very slippery.

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 20:56

Thank you pass Grin

ShellyBobbs · 02/02/2013 21:11

Bought our new super huge tent today off ebay, so we'll be off on our travels in a couple of months, can't wait :)

Purple You sound like wonderwoman Thanks

Hearty baby belly chuckles, can't wait Grin

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 21:15

Details shelley give me details!

ShellyBobbs · 02/02/2013 21:15

VQ Lol at your vaseline baby, slap to the hubby. I was telling my friend the story about 'How to kill a baby' the other day, it took me a while because I was laughing so much telling her. Your daughter will remain at the top of my amusement list Grin

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 21:16

About the tent, that is!

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 21:17

Grin we aim to please!

TheDetective · 02/02/2013 21:19

I've just been vommed all over. An hour after last feed. Stale milk. Yum yum. He's done worse... But always fresh so never that bad!

Blonder do you have the insert in the car seat still? We do. Seems okay yet. However I'm not convinced he is going to fit in the seat for long! I like the insert. I don't want to take it out! Doesn't seem that comfy without! I'm looking forward to using the seat unit. I think he will love it! He isn't a fan of lying down when out. Nosy knickers he is!

We now have an extremely drooly little boy. He's never been a drooler til today! Fist chomping going on too! No teeth though. Both me and DP have independently checked Grin.

ShellyBobbs · 02/02/2013 21:21

Details about camping or the tent? I know you're a keen camper, we must be as it's a 5 hour drive just to get there to pick it up, here's the link Shelly's new tent

Don't know where yet, probably just local to test it out, Buxton or near there.

ShellyBobbs · 02/02/2013 21:23

Detective Tommy's a dribbler too :)

FatimaLovesBread · 02/02/2013 21:27

The carrycot for our pram still has loads of room, seems big compared to some. There isn't much room left in the Moses basket though but I don't want to move her to the cot yet as that's in another room. She'll just have to squash in for a bit

detective we looked at the zapp extra when looking for a small folder that's lightweight. I like it. It doesn't fold as small as the zapp though.

TheDetective · 02/02/2013 21:30

DS1 just got vommed on too... Bahahaha!

He's got a full round tonight. That's all of us who have been chucked up on. Hmm

All since DP did the last feed. I'm blaming him! He was fine before that. Probably got trapped wind. DP hasn't fed him since we had the new teats. I am more cautious with them for this exact reason.

fruitpastilles · 02/02/2013 21:32

I think I'm only going to get another couple of weeks out of the carrycot on our pram Hmm it's a shame because sinead loves being in it, I tried her in with it as a pushchair and she's way to small plus it's front facing and I'd like to still be able to see her for a bit. I'm going to have to put the car seat on the pushchair until she grows into it!

TheDetective · 02/02/2013 21:36

Oh wait. The dog has yet to be hit. That will surely be his next aim! Wink

Thanks Fatima!

Despite Oscars epic length, he still fits comfortably in the Moses basket. His is quite long and narrow though. Just like him! He has got another 10cm or so at the top. Think it's 75cm long. Looking at DS1's growth (they are following same pattern so far!) it should technically be okay til he is 6 months. I remain unconvinced as so many people say their babies are too big after just a few weeks. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say theirs has lasted 6 months.

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 21:36

shelley we are tent twins! Fab tent. Big but ok to put up. We have the porch too and carpet. We use one bedroom as a toilet. With a toilet in, obviously

blonderthanred · 02/02/2013 21:38

Det we still have the insert in, hadn't looked at it without. L is still quite teeny though. Longer than he is wide in terms of centiles iyswim but still not pushing his feet out the end.

TheDetective · 02/02/2013 21:41

Oscars feet are at the end when he stretches them out!

Be prepared to be disappointed. It's just plain black without the insert! Looks a bit boring! :(

I would like the sheepskin liner to go in it but it's thicker than the morrck/star wraps so I'm not going to although the sheepskin is actually thinner than the insert. Which confuses me greatly. If you can't use the liner, why is the insert okay?!

ShellyBobbs · 02/02/2013 21:43

The carpet is with it and we're going to get the porch, don't think I could do without one now. We don't have a toilet but have been thinking of getting one, trekking to the toilet, pregnant in the middle of the night was no fun! Just need a trailer now to fit everything in, our 7 seater is already full with the pram and us lot.

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 21:57

The only trouble with the porch is that it is made for the 8 so is a bit short over the top and can really catch in the wind. We took it for a week of gales and rain and camped in a very big puddle (it was not there when we pitched) and it did not leak at all. Worth getting a footprint as it is a big bottom to scrub.

ValiumQueen · 02/02/2013 21:58

Battery dying. See you in the morning!

Go to sleep detective x

Evilwater · 02/02/2013 21:58

I hope all the poorly babies are better. That the DP are being D.

Well N has been a very upset today. His teeth are on the move again, and the drool, is everywhere. Of course the wind is still there and causing a load of trouble.

I've found a osteopath, so will phone for a appointment on Monday as well as going back to the dr.s he will be 4 months on Friday, and he is suffering badly with the wind Sad. His tummy is huge on account if the wind Sad, but I get good burps from him Envy I'm getting to the end of my rope, 4 months! Of endless crying and him being in pain.

Yes I'm massaging, winding him in different positions, using gripe water and infacol, as well as a keeping upright as much as possiable. I've switched to a bigger teat which has helped, but still his tummy is huge ( I must take a pic)

Evil

PetiteRaleuse · 02/02/2013 22:18

I'm coming off the Cerazette. My moods are awful, I've become paranoid and anxious, have been awful with DH and blamed him when I have been as bad, am on my 4th period in just under two packets, my hair is greasy, and I can feel a spot coming. I haven't had a spot in YEARS. And I put on 2-3 kg.

Enough of the hormones. Abstinence or condoms until the snip is done and dusted. Enough enough enough.

Night all. Everyone here is asleep. I came out to have a good sulk about the tone of voice DH used to say good night. He was half asleep and I lost it. It's the cerazette. Taken me weeks to work out that it's no good. Poor DH. He's not being half the arse I thought he was. A quarter yes. But not a complete arse.

PetiteRaleuse · 02/02/2013 22:23

I just went to stroke the cat and he pushed off. My immediate reaction? Started to cry. Even the cat doesn't like me poor little me. Pathetic! That is the work of the pill.

Titsalinabumsquash · 02/02/2013 22:27

Argh I've just started Cerazette! Only on day 4 but I've been bloody foul to everyone, I always was spotty (well since falling with J anyway) so that's the same but this is last chance saloon with regards to contraception, we can use condoms but I need something hormone based to help the endometriosis and this is the last thing to try.
