zcos we can hear next door too. The first time I thought my ears were ringing from LO screaming!

StuntNun · 25/01/2013 04:59

I love Community too Katie, sooo funny. They have that perfect combination of script and actors.

I haven't been able to keep up with th thread today but on the TV front I thought the first episode of the Following was excellent this week. When it's box sets here it's usually Spaced or Black Books or Stressed Eric. If DH isn't here then it's Monty Python's Flying Circus.

It's now ten weeks since I have slept for more than 4.5 hours (and he has done 4.5 hours twice, one of which I missed out on and could have cried in that time. Can you die from lack of sleep? He's been up four times already tonight so he can probably manage to wake me up again before the alarm goes off if he tries hard. Confused

stunt same here at 13 weeks. Tonight is the longest he has ever slept and I woke several times during that stretch. Yes you can die of lack of sleep but the morsels we are getting will sustain us physically if not mentally.

He woke again for a quick feed at 5.15. As he has been so good I did not have the heart to make him self settle. He probably could have though as did not open his eyes once.

I like The Little House on the Prairie, and The Waltons.

I remember the Top of the Pops records before the Now that's what I call Music ones started. Anyone else remember them?

fruitpastilles · 25/01/2013 05:49

Still wide awake from the 4am feed Hmm me that is not lo, she went straight back to sleep! She did go from 8:30 till 4 though so I can't complain I suppose!

MM YANBU if my dp done that I'd be more than fuming!!!

For me it has to be friends, I could watch it all day every day and know all the words, I annoy myself with it actually lol. Grimm is brilliant aswell!

fruitpastilles · 25/01/2013 06:17

Does anybody have the BT Pacifier baby monitor? I need to get a new one as ours was passed on to us from my cousin but isn't very good, not so much of a problem before, but lo is in her own room now and I worry that I won't hear her on this one.
Have been looking at the pacifier and just wondered if anyone here had one?

CandyPop · 25/01/2013 06:23

Are you guys kidding me?! . I was out for the day and its taken me all evening and 2 night feeds to catch up.

Hello newbies ! You guys are doing well keeping up with these chatterboxes! We will wear you down and one day, you would have not checked chat for half and day and then boom you have a gazillion pages to catch up on :D

The song that made me cry and love singing to LO is How WOnderful LIfe is Now Your in the World by Elton John

Who's LO still poos constantly?! Should it not be getting less now? She literally poos nearly in between most feeds.

ALso her poo has been green for the last 3 days..... I don't think it's a foremilk/hindmilk issue as I do try and empty before switching breast. She still feeds every 3 hrs during the day so I don't think she's dehydrated .
Should I be worried ?! I mentioned it to hv but she just asked about the foremilk and dehydration and when I said I don't think it is she just went hmmm... And that was it?!?! they are really unhelpful . Her poo use to be very yellow and mustard seedy like. I can't see what's changed in the last 3 days......

CandyPop · 25/01/2013 06:30

Sorry for epic post Blush

we love Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, True Blood, Mad Men. Our all time favourite is probably Sopranos. Dh loves west wing but I couldn't get into it. Everyone always raves about it.....

GTbaby · 25/01/2013 06:32

Yeppie. LO managed 10-6. Thanks to drunk H last night I did not. Hmm

Zcos. Just plus it in. I put it off for 3 weeks. Took seconds. Just plug in and switch on.

rowingdowntheriver · 25/01/2013 06:40

Ooh I've missed loads of chat in the last 24 hours whilst I've been selling my house and sleeping!!!

My news, got another, higher, offer on the house which we've accepted. Just need to find somewhere to move to. Also, sleeping has radically improved, think my week of hellish nights may have been the 12 week growth spurt (he's 13w but was born a week early). Only 2 weaklings last night!

detective, I've got Now3! I remember telling my dad I couldn't swim a whole width (I was about 7 and had just learned to swim) and he told me I could have a new cassette if I did. Magically I was then able to swim 3 widths non stop!

As for box sets, I loved the inbetweeners series. I'm immature I guess but I literally couldn't breathe from laughing at it. Am now working my way through gossip girl. It's a bit teenage but I love it. Is great for the days when DS1 is in nursery and I can flake out on the sofa for a couple of hours feeding DS2.

No special song for me really. I listened to black eyed peas when preg with DS1 though and when a particular song came on he would, without fail, start moving. He still likes dancing to it now!

No daytime routine here for DS2. I stressed about DS1 taking naps in his cot and self settling and with DS2 am just going with the flow. Am finding it a lot easier and less stressful this time round because of that.

Off to continue to catch up and also house hunt! am thinking of moving to either epsom or Guildford area, anyone near those places with any advice to share?!

rowingdowntheriver · 25/01/2013 06:45

I think I beat your epic post candy! Has your LO got a cold? Green poo, especially if it is a it mucousy, can be an indicator of infection.

Here are some baby poo pics to compare!

Welcome newbies, glad to see you are keeping up with the chat!

KatieLily12 · 25/01/2013 07:03

candypop how is little one in themselves? Perhaps a GP check just to put your mind at ease? I give up with my HV so just go to GP now!

PetiteRaleuse · 25/01/2013 07:06

LO woke up at 4. I made DH deal with her as last night when I went to bed I reminded him she hadn't eaten much and needed a nappy change. But he decided at 10 as she was sleeping not to bother. Which is why she woke up hungry and wet at 4. That'll learn 'im.

Happy Burns Day to those of you who celebrate it :)

I forgot Modern Family. Absolute genius. It's wonderful.

Good news re the house Rowing

KatieLily12 · 25/01/2013 07:06

I loved Guildford river look at the area coming out of Guildford towards Godalming. V nice & a bit cheaper. Or at least used to be!

zcos · 25/01/2013 07:14

thanks gt it has sensor mat tho did yours need to test that out want to avoid mat being over sensitive I will have heart attack if it goes off!
some.other thoughts on the other things
another song which I have song loads is Elton John tiny dancer but dancer changed to tiny d song me and dh been singing that loads for some reason past few days. yeah Steve Tyler wrote it bout liv ....think a lot of classic love songs probably written about their babies. rule the world by take that seems more about Gary's children now- the lyrics - what you think!!
re tv no one has mentioned Castle its immense has everything! think its my fave!
just woke at 6.30 but squeaking earlier ... just wish she would go down earlier! 7-12.30 on boob last night exhausting! 11pm worst part of day!

PetiteRaleuse · 25/01/2013 07:20

Angry DD1 has gone to creche without tidying her toys away. The anger is at DH not her. She is supposed to tidy away every evening before bed, or at least every morning before leaving so that when I go to collect her I don't have to spend half the morning picking everything up. Bcause if we leave the dog even for ten minutes and toys are out he chews them. Which is good because it means the house has to be tidy once a day at least.

Bt this morning I'm going to find tidying toys up very hard due to my poor coccyx. Which is why I am even more Angry than I usually would be.

Oh and I forgot to get my bread in and it froze outside in its bag. Poor fresh bread :(

zcos · 25/01/2013 07:32

Aw petite! have no flowers emoticon on phone app to give you!

horseylady · 25/01/2013 07:44

Screaming at 4am because your milk is not quite at the right temp is annoying.

I then cried for about an hour and just want to go to work so I am not at home 24/7 or with the baby 24/7. The snow had better bloody clear so I can just ride. I think then I might feel better. Or I might just go out somewhere without him.

Dh did tell me to sleep in the spare room. I might move ds into his cot in a few weeks. Is that bad? I didn't move as that bed makes my back worse.

I think I'm going to buy a bottle warmer.....

PetiteRaleuse · 25/01/2013 07:51

Horsey I heat milk at 4 seconds per oz in the microwave and shake. Why don't you ask DH to move himself and LO into the spare room for a few nights to give you a break. And yes, if you can get someone or DH to help so you can get out for the day it will help. I can imagine you miss riding.

When are you due back at work?

PetiteRaleuse · 25/01/2013 07:53

LO has been sleeping in her cot since birth. There's no reason you can't move E into his cot.

horseylady · 25/01/2013 07:53

Sorry for that post. I've just had a bad week and dh just hasn't helped me out. It's not ds fault I just need support ATM and not getting it. Hopefully he realised last night. Dh that is.

Candy - ds ff and has green poos sometimes I find when he's winded well his poos are better.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/01/2013 07:57

No need to apologise, there's nothing wrong with needing a break or a rant or help.

fruitpastilles · 25/01/2013 08:08

Horsey, we all need to vent sometimes and at least when u vent here we all know exactly where you're coming from and have all had days/weeks like that.

KatieLily12 · 25/01/2013 08:08

Kisses for you petite other half woes are horrid when you're feeling vulnerable/ ill etc. I'm currently unable to speak to mine!

ChunkyChicken · 25/01/2013 08:09

candy I always thought green poo was to do with wind with my DD, as horsey said, but then this time, its become a bad thing to look out for. I'm a bit Confused about it tbh. I have also read on MN that the fore-hindmilk thing is somewhat discredited now. So I would say, if LO seems well generally, not to worry.

horsey I think a day off is needed!! Afterall, I thought the big advantage to ff was that you didn't have to plan in advance, you just provided the appropriate adult with the correct bottles for your absence :) Tell DH "I'm going out on..." and make arrangements to see a friend or 2. That's what I'm doing tomorrow and just planning it made me feel a bit better - only the 2nd time since 19/10 that I will be without at least 1 child and the first time was for less than 2hrs just under 2wks, whilst I did HW, so doesn't count!!

KatieLily12 · 25/01/2013 08:11

horsey I think it's reasonable to prioritise your sleep. After all you're the greatest resource to your LO so taking care of yourself is taking care of them too IYKWIM
