Haven't started yet VQ Hmm tempted to start now. Use head phones to block out LO cc to sleep. Confused

Just finished Breaking Bad. If anyone is into watching American series. Involves Drug manufacturing and is quite funny it's a must see. Everyone I know who has seen it loves it! There r 5 series available on net flicks.

glendathegoodwitch · 24/01/2013 20:04

Dh just told me about that 7 week old baby OMD - you don't leave the car running without a baby in the back!!! Thank goodness for a thief with a conscience!!!

I am soooooooo bloody cold - sitting in a freezing barn while dd1 has her riding lesson is not my idea of fun - though Dottie was awake for the first time in 10 weeks and loved watching the horses.

Horsey - what is a ball park figure for stabling a pony?? Is that the right word or is it livery??

ValiumQueen · 24/01/2013 20:04

pass I nearly choked on my dinner then! You are so funny!

GTbaby · 24/01/2013 20:05

Lol Katie. I often wonder y period tracker maker didn't put an alarm in. "U need to pee on a stick woman"

Pikz · 24/01/2013 20:08

Screaming post jab baby. Will not settle :(

ValiumQueen · 24/01/2013 20:09

I am enjoying 'the fringe' too.

I think the thief would have been concerned about being charged with kidnap rather than having a conscience.

ValiumQueen · 24/01/2013 20:10

I take that back. He reported the crime. Good fella! (Well, almost)

KatieLily12 · 24/01/2013 20:11

I'll at pass and GT

Thanks to period tracker I knew within a week that I was pregnant. My other clue was that I totally and utterly went off children.

[hmmm]

Did someone mention Dexter? I love Dexter. Best show ever except for the Sopranos.

You've all been chatty this evening. My song is 'Unintended' by Muse, which describes brilliantly my and DH's story. It was complicated at the beginning. With the girls other than Nellie the Sodding elephant I can't think of anything.

The song that reminds me most of 2012 though is We Are Young by Fun, and also their song Some Nights. DD1 and I often dance to We Are Young. In fact we were dancing to it two days before the ELCS when LO suddenly dropped and I had an evening of contractions and wondering if I should go to hospital. Then they stopped and I went in as planned the next day. So I choose We Are Young.

ValiumQueen · 24/01/2013 20:16

Unintended would be apt for DS, but we are very glad he is here!

Never got into Sopranos, but love the ending because it was over

PetiteRaleuse · 24/01/2013 20:18

When I pick up DD1 from Nursery I leave the car running in front with LO in it otherwise she screams. It's not at all in a place you'd expect crime though and it is off road parking.

Too close to home for me was a few weeks after LO was born a baby was snatched from a local maternity ward. Not where I gave birth - that place was like Fort Knox - but local enough to be quite scary.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/01/2013 20:19

I have to admit I am in mourning for Desperate Housewives and am a massive fan of Greys Anatomy even though it's shiter and shiter. I also wish they would do a Friends reunion.

kissyfur · 24/01/2013 20:21

Lol pass that's hilarious Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 24/01/2013 20:21

Pikz have you tried Calpol?

glendathegoodwitch · 24/01/2013 20:25

Yay glad you had a chuckle Katie!!! It was my funniest labour - after the gangnam dance I was mooing like a cow - hilarious seeing as I work on mat ward and used to giggle at women in labour who moo'd but you do!!

Yum takeaways just arrived - king prawn puri heaven!!

glendathegoodwitch · 24/01/2013 20:27

Doh was posting originally to say I ? dexter - have you all seen the final series??? It's good!!! Any other recommendations??? Just finished downton abbey and half way thru misfits!!! I also ? Netflix

BigPigLittlePig · 24/01/2013 20:27

pr there is nothing wrong with greys anatomy pushes all 8 box sets under the sofa

GTbaby · 24/01/2013 20:29

Pikz. Calpol. Sorted. Episode one dexter here I come.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/01/2013 20:29

The last series I saw was the one that ended in a church. They have started trailing the next series on French TV will be starting soon. I wish we had an equivalent of netflix over here.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 24/01/2013 20:30

I never heard of Dexter until I met vq is it too late to catch up do you think?

Luv a king prawn puri.

Don't tell the wibbly tummies thread.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/01/2013 20:30

Pig i'm part way through series nine. Loving it.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/01/2013 20:31

Sophia you have to start from the beginning with Dexter.

BigPigLittlePig · 24/01/2013 20:33

PR I'm very far behind, very. Luckily we spend a bit of time on the sofa. Each DVD has 4 episodes, 3 hours worth. 3 hours can pass quite quickly, before you've even realised is this why only my sink is clean??

TheDetective · 24/01/2013 20:34

I'm jealous. I only watch crap on tv because I gave up trying to watch anything that was a series 9 years ago when I started shift work!

Then sky plus and box sets came in. But by then I'd given up and just got out of the habit.

I often feel I miss out!

GTbaby · 24/01/2013 20:36

PR google watch dexter online. Should find a few streaming sites. Ill try n pm u some sites.
