Previous thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1655656-November-2012-sleeping-through-yet

The answer to the sleeping though question was a chorus of "no"s but there were a few resounding yesses and a lot more keeping quiet because the rest of us would be well jel.

nervous our last thread title was mentioned on the 'stupid things people say on MN' thread in a rather patronising way.

Elizadoesdolittle · 17/01/2013 22:04

Thanks all for your kind wishes.

vq it was a & e of sorts (only for under 18's) so a specialist peads area and I took a muslin cloth with evidence of it. She seems happy and alert when awake although she has slept loads today. I will be straight back up there if it happens again. Am obviously hoping I don't have to though!

ValiumQueen · 17/01/2013 22:05

The poster refered to us as a quiche I believe. I did not see it.

ValiumQueen · 17/01/2013 22:08

eliza I guess they see more of it than you would think. I do hope it does not happen again. I remember with DD1 pus came out of her vagina when she was a matter of days old. Scared the crap out of me but the GP said it was nothing to worry about. There was about a teaspoon full.

StuntNun · 17/01/2013 22:10

Hmm, by other peoples' definitions my dog isn't a doglet then since she weighs over five stone!

Btw does everyone know there is a related Facebook page for our quiche called Nov 12 Babies that you can ask to join? Just do a search for it on Facebook.

Other jocks are mrs wee and georgee that I can remember.

I am thinking of going to the Baby Cafe tomorrow but am a bit nervous due to lack of boobage on the feeding front. Maybe I could just pretend!

I am also thinking about joining the baby big noise group. Problem is that these things tend to be during nap time. Hmm

Passmethecrisps · 17/01/2013 22:15

I love our Facebook page. Awesome for piccies!

horseylady · 17/01/2013 22:15

15 degrees in my house with heating on!! It's a joke.

He's in vest, body suit, grow bag.

StuntNun · 17/01/2013 22:16

Nervous someone on another thread commented that we shouldn't be expecting out babies to sleep through yet, not realising that a number of our babies are already sleeping thorough. It wasn't anything rude though.

Passmethecrisps · 17/01/2013 22:18

15oC?!?!? Omg! Chillytastic! I really feel the cold and am currently wearing a t-shirt, jumper and DH's hoodie.

ValiumQueen · 17/01/2013 22:20

pass from what you said before, you have an awesome rack. Just whip them out and I am sure they will dazzle folk long enough to sneak a bottle in. Seriously though, I would like to think you would be welcomed open armed regardless.

GTbaby · 17/01/2013 22:24

rowingdowntheriver · 17/01/2013 22:29

gt, I'd be up for a west London meet up. Equally, Croydon ikea would work for me too.

I had been wondering about dh21 too, it's been a while since she was on here.

blonderthanred · 17/01/2013 22:32

Oh GT I call L little bird but I did not know that was a punjabi thing. I forgot my favourite name for him which is Soren Lorenson (for any Charlie & Lola fans out there).

daisychain76 · 17/01/2013 22:35

I feel sorry for Charlie, Lola is a brat imho

DonnaDoon · 17/01/2013 22:36

GT It can happen...dd got one of my long hairs wrapped around her toe (would you believe ) it was wrapped so tight and poor little toe was purple. Stunt I have a James Robert and we have always called him Jim-Bob

Off to empty my overly-milky boob into the little Chubington, so night all. Wishing warm and quiet ones to all.

i know domers av, other side of southall.

Titsalinabumsquash · 17/01/2013 23:41

A dilemma for you ladies.

J has slept for 3 hrs solidly now and shows no signs of stirring, first time in forever, the catch? He's on his front, head turned to the side (like the fb picture I posted a few weeks ago) I his cot. He sleeps like this for hours all night in our bed so a moment of madness desperation I put him in the cot after his last feed and he rolled straight onto his tummy, stuck his bottom in the air and went to sleep. We have the angel monitor pad under him and he is still snoring like a trooper as always so we can see/hear he is breathing and moving (DP has the sensitivity in that thing turned to as high as it can go ffs!)

Anyway, I'm so tempted to leave him there until he wakes by himself, if I turn him now he'll scream to come in our bed and feed all night and I'm so exhausted and sore!
I know they advise babies on their back for safety reasons and my HV would hang me for even thinking about it but wwyd? This child just will not sleep on his back!!
