Bloody hell a neighbour is having a do of some kind lots of talking, music, laughing inconsiderate bastards (why wasnt i invited ? Grin) at least DS room at other side of house.

Not like I can close window with this heat.
Dh at pub with chums I've just perved over Thor .......again. He's gonna be pissed off if this noise doesn't stop he hates noise at night very light sleeper I can usually sleep thru anything. Annoying me I can't see which house it is am soooo nosey

aethelfleda · 11/08/2012 05:13

.

it is not morning yet. Got that, DS?

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 11/08/2012 07:32

Sky is still asleep and not one wake up Grin
Northern We are heading to St Lucia on honeymoon. Smile

GeeandTee · 11/08/2012 07:40

Slightly better night as she didn't wake until 2am, had a feed but then woke again at 6am and was up for the day. I only ended up with 5 hrs though as didn't sleep very well. DH has put me back to bed now though so will see if I can get any more sleep and not worry about how he is coping with them both and DS's potty training! I know I just need to leave him to it but not always easy...

HLC I have gone for a Boba 2G, new in the end as have left it a bit late and want to make sure its here before we leave. I did the hard sell to DH last night thinking I would have to convince him, he took one look and said we should buy two! I said we should wait and at least try it out first. I think he likes the idea of us striding up mountains with DD in the Moby and DS in the Boba :)

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 11/08/2012 10:36

7 sleeps to go....

...that is all Grin

HoneyLovesCake · 11/08/2012 11:18

That's great Gee I've heard good things about the Boba but if you don't get on with it don't give up, different ssc's suit different body types apparently. Did you check the size before you ordered? Most important thing is that LO should be supported knee to knee. Shouldn't be an issue with the Boba but I thought I'd mention it as I think someone mentioned the Beco Gemini yesterday (here or on fb?) & I know someone with a leggy 9 month old who has outgrown hers Shock although they're supposed to go to 35lbs!

GeeandTee · 11/08/2012 12:05

Thanks HLC one of the reasons I chose it is because it is meant to fit all sizes/body shapes, and as I'm quite slim and DH is 6'3" and with ridiculously broad shoulders it is definitely a concern! And yes it has high back support and puts knees above hips, also has little stirrup leg rests for toddlers so their legs aren't hanging all the time. So excited! Have to wait 2-3 working days!

HoneyLovesCake · 11/08/2012 12:28

Just got a bit excited when I saw an email from the national lottery subject "news about your ticket" so I logged into my account with butterflies in my tummy...seriously how amazing would it be if I'd won the £148 million jackpot Grin...& I've won £2.90!!!

Figgygal · 11/08/2012 14:54

Just been out for lunch with old workmates and ds decided he didnt want his jar of veg id brought with me he wanted my chicken breast, luckily it was very large and thick and so i could pull chunks out of the middle that were without sauce and he was chomping on them. At least he wont need much for tea Smile

seven77 · 11/08/2012 16:15

honey have you decided what to do with your fortune yet? :o

Banbury here. Stupidly didn't go to bed until 1 as DH worked last night. DS suddenly felt poorly again and was awake from 2 until 3.30 when DH went to sleep on his bedroom floor. Up at 5.30 with Eva. Still, chicken provençal in the slow cooker, now about to put the bread maker on to go with it.

HoneyLovesCake · 11/08/2012 18:00

Today has been fun Hmm Rocco had a 1 hour morning nap after 1hr20 of screaming because he couldn't get to sleep :( no afternoon nap & has generally been a bit of a nightmare. He's just gone to sleep for the night I guess Confused he's not slept this early since he was a newborn, is he going to get me up at 5am?

In other news he must be stealth crawling [because I put him on his mat in the middle of the room, turned my back for 1 minute max & he was cruising along the sofa Grin He keeps trying to stand on his own, pushing himself back off things so I think we're skipping crawling & going straight to walking. Oh dear!

seven I bought myself a new wrap today but I don't think the big win will quite cover it Grin It's a really limited one though, that I could sell for 3 times the price if I wanted (but I won't) so that's kind of like winning a prize, right?

Figgygal · 11/08/2012 19:54

HLC sounds like my DS has been hard work today, he cried at lunch as he wanted mine, he's refusing to sit down keeps arching back and planting feet and for weeks whinged every time hes been put on back, front, had his nappy changed, today its been very wearing not sure of its the heat or my AF but I did have to get dh to take him for a bit tonight as he got to me. Funnily enough the only time he's been quiet today has been when we went for a walk and he actually sat in his pushchair for half an hour and DIDN'T cry...... That's 2 days in a row!!

Off to have a glass of wine now

HoneyLovesCake · 11/08/2012 20:04

Sounds exactly like Rocco figgy is it the heat or their age Confused he's been insisting on doing headstands while bfing, screams if I try to cradle him, screams if I try to feed him lying down except when he's got his bum in the air & is performing gymnastics >_< Maybe we've been watching the olympics too much? He didn't stay asleep, woke after half an hour bouncing off the walls so I got him up for an hour of whinging :( I'm exhausted & very frazzled.

aethelfleda · 11/08/2012 21:03

There's something in the air...DS was very unsettle after dinner today and took a full hour to settle after his feed (usually 5 mins of cuddles and he's asleep/conked). He's drinbling like crazy though, where ARE those teeth?!?!

Dinner was unexpectedly well received by all DCs: homemade sushi (we made baby friendly nori rolls, with tuna mayo, smoked salmon, and avocado, and cucumber with cheddar cheese filling. Nom.) must remember to do that more often, it doesn't take much longer than sandwiches if I remember to pre-cook the rice.

Going to get DH tomorrow am- woo hoo! Am watching the diving (phoarr, nice young men eye candy!) with the really-must-finish-skirting-board imp nagging in my ear. Oh well!

LittleMissFlustered · 11/08/2012 21:27

Octoboy has been a prat bit awkward today too. Refused his bedtime feed and shouted himself to sleep instead.

Enjoy getting your husband back tomorrow aethel

Watching the diving now have def calmed down hoping for a good nights sleep. Feel so guilty when my patience goes blaming the AF hormones!!

LittleMissFlustered · 12/08/2012 03:45

He slept from 9-3, not bad!

Aethel Enjoy having DH back.

Hope all babies have settled down now and are happier today?!

Went to my cousins wedding yesterday. Twas okay...bit boring tho...and they didn't have enough food to feed everybody! Instead of sit down meal was hot buffet but not enough food for the number of people! They had a small sweet table. Again not enough there for everyone.
She looked lovely tho. (from family who don't like me btw) DP & I will be showing them what a good wedding looks like on Saturday Grin

DP has taken DD1 to cinema this morning to watch Ice Age 4 for daddy:daughter time.

LittleMissFlustered · 12/08/2012 11:44

Perhaps the food quantities can be put down to caterer rather than couple? I've been to weddings where there has been a buffet and there's been more than enough to eat:)

OP posts:
aethelfleda · 12/08/2012 11:59

He's back! (and jetlagged, poor soul).
Tea all round, methinks.

Figgygal · 12/08/2012 12:01

DS has just done a purple poo that's weird right!! Confused

seven77 · 12/08/2012 12:16

Glad he's back aethel, enjoy!

figgy how purple? Has he had beetroot?

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 12/08/2012 12:32

LMF My sister had buffet for her wedding last year. Said how many people were attending and they calculated how much roughly. Seriously lack of misjudgement on caterers part for 50 people to eat!

Aethel Hope DH is okay? Minus jet lag tho!

Figgy Purple poo? Did Figgyboy eat some beetroot yesterday?

Figgygal · 12/08/2012 12:48

No that's what's so weird!!

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 12/08/2012 13:23

Hmm what did he eat?
