I am very, very nervous about my appointment today. I know deep down it will be fine but it's just the thought of it that scares me. I will try and pop on this evening with news.

Hi all, good luck to blizy - hope it goes well - maybe write down what you want to say?!

I've got a solicitors appt today not looking forward to it. Oh and we have decided on Friday, A will go to nursery in the morning and rhen our friend will pick her up in the afternoon until we come back. Thats what I'm happiest with, so thank you everyone especially ledkr and MizK for their kind offers of help :)

reastie - I'm really lax with personal grooming but I'm getting a bit better. Can't be bothered to paint my nails (any of them) but started getting my eyebrows threaded, otherwise I look like Brooke Shields in the 80's. I've always been self-conscious about my skin though so I'm hoping the peels sort it out.

wiggles - I tell myself that something would cost £X new so I'm saving money but I'd never pay £X for it anyway. So I'm getting nicer clothes for the same as I'd usually pay on the high street.

L was awake at 5:45 this morning.

Aren't thick eyebrows all the rage now? I would have a monobrow if I didn't do mine . I noticed a hair on my chinny chin chin the other day, it really is all downhill here

I agree re Eddie Redmaynes lips, too pouty. I love passing judgment on famous, rich, beautiful people, as if I would turn them down . I liked the book I think, read it about 15 years ago. The rude bits in the TV version made me giggle though, they just seemed so serious they were funny

reastie Alice eats vast amounts compared to N, he sometimes has nothing, he's very picky. It's annoying as I eat anything, faffy eaters make me cross.

Noah eats pretty much anything, except eggs, he's decided he doesnt like eggs. Ben told me he didn't love me this morning as I wouldn't let him have sweets for breakkie!! He then said I was a mean mummy! I had to hide my sdmile!!

Personal grooming - I pluck my eyebrows but can be a bit pluck happy and end up with hardly anything left! I was painting my nails every week a while back but they chip so quickly that I got bored of it.

There are other things I want to comment on but the computer is doing that annoying thing where you type then half an hour later the words actually appear on the screen!

Been to docs, I have to go back for day 21 blood tests (to check if I'm ovulating). No mention about my weight, here was me worrying over nothing as usual!

Oh blizy, glad to hear it. Did they give you any other advice?

borg, I must admit to plucking my eyebrows when I remember or I get a monobrow too, very fetching it is though . I have a long white hair in the middle of my shoulder blades that's been there since my early 20's, it's quite impressive as it must be about 3 inches long. I plucked it, or rather pulled it out, once but it grew back really quickly. No idea where that came from!

reastie B goes through phases of eating everything he can then next to nothing. I'm being tougher than OH with him though, I will not give him biscuits all the time and figure if he's hungry, he'll eat what I've made. Spanish omelette tonight, he'd better like it

Did anyone watch silent witness this week? I realise I made a monumental error in declaring my lust for Leo when I meant Harry , he makes me drool. Anyway, I thought Sunday's episode was great but then last night it all went a bit weird and, well, terrible!

Since we are talking about hairs, during pregnancy I had grown a quite impressive belly button bush! I have to immac it. Oh and not forgetting the hair that appears on my neck under my chin! Midwife told me it would disappear after giving birth- the liar!

Needto- he told me to only dtd 3x a week and to stop using ov sticks, because they are apparently crap!

Ponyo- I hop your appointment went ok? How are doing?

Had a lovely morning with Tommy, strange thing to say about a hospital visit, but so nice to have time with him (and Archie). He is very funny. We sang go go Joseph (techicolour) at full blast on the journeys and had eaten a whole packet of fruit pastilles each by 10am. Said a cheery hello to everyone we walked past in the hospital corridoor, had a random up and down (mistakey) lift trip!! He even faked a limp when the Paed asked him to walk up and down

Going to get the boys from Sports club now, back later if mn isn't offline again wtf???!!

blizy - Excellent news, well done for going. I have developed a massive 'tache and belly button bush too, absolutely horrible. Plus the mini-fringe from my hair falling out post-birth, pregnancy is so glamourous.

I cannot be trusted to pluck my eyebrows because I will either have no eyebrows left or lopsided brows because I'm rubbish at it.

blizy excellent news re: appointment (in that you went and it wasn't traumatising) . Btw, I get hairs on my chin and neck too old lady styley . They came when pg and have never gone - now those I do try to pluck . Btw borg is right - big eyebrows are back in apparently I saw it on the one show . Interesting re: advice of dtd 3 x week. I did research online and some of it talked about not dtd too much.

four4 sounds like a great trip to the hospital (although didn't think I would ever say that). I love the joseph soundtrack btw . Can't wait till alice is old enough to drag to see joseph in london - I went with DH a couple of years ago when Lee-whats-his-name-who-is-married-to-denise-van-outen was in it. I also saw it when jason donovan was in it and at the time I was a huge fan of his and think I may have nearly exploded with excitement (and bought up half the gift shop). Blizy, glad app was better than you expected and that the doc took it seriously. My doc told me not to dtd too often before dh and I got pregnant with Noah. Apparently you have to 'save' the healthy sperm!

Reastie, I love, love musicals. Have already booked for two pantos in December with Ben. Last show we saw was Sister Act which was fantastic!

ponyo Not at all strange to look your best for Fri. You really do have my sympathy re the lack of wills. Have helped my dad out with elderly relatives in the same situation and its a bloody nightmare. My pils didn't have wills organised until last year, it was very frustrating, they seemed to think that the making of actual wills would in fact cause them to die .

Deffo stick to the musicals with the babies, there was all out war in the car this morning between S and O re the merits of One Direction or 1D as we must now call them and Lady GaGa. Olivia lurves Lady Gaga. Anna and I were in our element when we eventually got them both to school and took control of the ipod. We were mixing it up between Prince and Suede. Anna is mad for Prince

The Dr also told me to try temping, so I have bought a thermometer and "taking charge of your fertility" book - thanks american!
He also said they don't normally do anything until you have been ttc for 2 years! Lets hope I don't have to wait that long.

Poor Alfie cat had a misadventure with the toilet bowl- lets just say curiosty almost killed the cat! He is fine now, I gave him a good dry with the hair dryer (he loved it that) .

ponyo urrrgh how stressful sorting these things out, let your mum and sis take care of things if thats what they want, sounds a lot of work. Savour your glass of vino and put those feet up lady. And its perfectly normal to scrub up for the funeral, you'll be seeing loads of people no doubt. When my Grandad died we all glammed up, I was tempted to wear leopard heels cause he loved seeing us dressed to kill but I think my Gran would have throttled me :)

A very hair/grooming obsessed thread today! I admit I am a bit of a grooming fiend and spend an unhealthy amount of time scrutinising my face in my magnifying mirror - however due to this obsession I have permanently thin eyebrows :( Was overzealous with tweezers in my early 20s so can never achieve a big old Scousebrow - sob!
Enjoying a quiet evening DP is at the footy for a change so am going to catch up on TOWIE - v cultured I know :)
