Oh no, sorry, that's not what I meant. What I meant to say is that I'm selling BOi to the Rag and Bone man.

Good morning all! Northern I know you asked a couple of days ago, but all is cool. Quitting my job was the best thing I could have done, because at the moment we can afford for me not to work, and I couldn't be separated from Ellis.

Vomiting etc has gone, but now he has a weepy eye :( Otherwise he is bright eyed and bushy tailed, even after his third round of injections yesterday. DH and I are talking about having number 2 now... :o

Seven77 I am now fantasising about blueberry muffins. Hmmm...

neverenoughsleeportea · 17/04/2012 09:04

2.45, 5.10, 6.10, 7.10 which doesn't look that bad but I got really cold after the first feed and didn't get back to sleep until way after 4.

F fell back asleep on the nursery run so I'm in bed hoping for another hour...

neverenoughsleeportea · 17/04/2012 09:07

Good too you back sorelip (hawthers here)
Did catch a post of yours on another thread so was worried about you but when I went back to reply I couldn't find it. Glad to hear you are on the mend and well done for being so brave to get some treatment.

NorthernChinchilla · 17/04/2012 09:12

Glad to hear it sorelip, it just sounded like the PND had equalled quitting your job and you were going to be facing serious problems (or more serious...). If you can afford to be a SAHM then that's fab, as it sounds like you're enjoying it.

Report from last night:
Good news-
LO slept in his cot all night (I took him into bed at half 6 to calm him and for a wee snuggle before his 7am feed). This sounds a bit Gina Ford, but it's the one feed of the day that will have to be on time, owing to timetables for me getting out of the house for work.
LO only had one feed, at 3.20am!
I feel fine Smile

Bad news-
he also woke at 1.20 and 5.20am, but was dummied and went back to sleep.
he totally rejected both the formula and ebm bottle, and I had to bf him.

To be fair, the bottles were cold, and I was trying the next size teat up, so I may try our usual size two teat, and if that doesn't work I'll have to fart about with heating it up upstairs- what do others do?

I see BOi is quite triumphant over on Babiesnet Oi Grin!

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 17/04/2012 09:24

Sorelip Sounds like your getting there and if you can afford to be a SAHM then good for you :)

School run done in the pouring rain :( Letting Sky have a quick nap before we go to her first swimming class and then baby sensory straight after :)

MissRee · 17/04/2012 09:39

I've just put Freya in her leopard print onesie (don't ask, it was a gift) and she loves it! She's done nothing but stare at the pattern since I've put it on her. Even the telly hasn't distracted her attention from it.

NorthernChinchilla · 17/04/2012 09:56

MissRee that needs a photo!

Actually rather love leopard print but also wonder about suitability for baby

LO is fine with the faster teat, so will keep that for night time, and stick with the smaller during the day as it says those are appropriate for bf babies (make 'em work!)

So, it'll be a matter of getting warmer milk for LO. It may be that we use the expressed stuff for night feeds as I believe that can be left for up to six hours at room temp, so that (and cartons) may be the answer.

GeeandTee · 17/04/2012 10:02

Northern I've never ff but I think people often fill a thermos with hot water and take it up to bed for the night feeds. If you mix the powder with some hot water first to kill any bacteria you can then add cooled boiled water to make it the right temp for immediate feeding. Once you've tried it a few times you'll get to know the right hot/cold ratio.

MissRee · 17/04/2012 10:16

I think this will work...

img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/Ria1/95acd5c6.jpg

Someone recommended this: [[
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002L3TEN8/ref=mp_s_a_2?qid=1334654106&sr=8-2]] to me for warming bottles out and about. It's very good and keeps the water hot for hours. Could you fill with boiling water and leave on a bedside table for bottle warming in the night?

Sorelip · 17/04/2012 10:30

Determined, I hope the swimming class goes well, I've been thinking about signing up to some.

Never I had the thread removed for fear of being outed irl. I only got treatment after a suicide attempt. I can't believe I ever let it get that far, I thought I was sensible. I've come to the conclusion that mental illness is like any other disease - it doesn't want to be cured.

We should be getting a cot delivered today. I can't wait to set it up!

seven77 · 17/04/2012 10:45

sorelip that's very scary, glad you got treatment sorted out.

Can anyone tell me how much sick is normal? Eva seems to be sick constantly, she's always been a sicky baby but much more so the last couple of weeks, it's literally every time she burps and randomly as well. She's been sick at least 5-6 times already this morning, and is usually sick probably at least 3 times between every feed.

Anyone heard from msb?

Figgygal · 17/04/2012 10:56

Wow sorelip you really must have had a hard time glad you are on the mend!

Took figgyboy swimming this morning he cried when getting changed and then dressed but loved the actual pool!! Am annoyed I left it so long so going to make it a regular occurrence not sure can stretch to lessons at the moment they are pretty costly around here and just reinsured my car yesterday so that is £330 down the tubes (no monthly installments unfortunately and no rebate if I sell car so looks like I'll be keeping it a while longer).

Now it looks like am keeping the car I need to get looking for a forward facing seat that will go in the back. Could never find a rear facing 1 and the 3 of us can't go out in it as can't push seat forward enough with the belt round it for anyone to sit in back. DH not going to be happy if I can't find 1 this time.

seven77 · 17/04/2012 11:30

New thread suggestions please!

MissRee · 17/04/2012 11:32

Seven Freya has been more sicky than normal the last couple of weeks. 2 or 3 times between feeds. I think it might be that she needs to move up to next teat size as that stopped it last time.
