R slept 12 hours last night or the first time in weeks. We woke at 6:20 and DP rushed to make sure she was okay!

I'm wrapping home made Christmas gifts in cellophane tonight. Have been told off by DP for making too much noise while University Chalkenge is on. Give that most of the presents are for his family I may shove my big roll of celophane up his ass.

I've tried to sell Noah's walker on eBay but no one wants it so may have to give to charity. It's so bloody big and ugly.

Ooh,ooh, if I give him a muslin now and say 'Noah play peekaboo, where's Noah?' he puts the muslin in front of his face then peeps out giggling, I love it!

ems Alice is amazing me with little things she does now - we were playing a peekaboo game behind the door the other day where Alice hid behind the door and every time I said 'where's alice?' she poked her head around and giggled

I couldn't find anyone on facebook when I looked yesterday. I think it just brings up the nearest American people! It was -11C at the airport this morning and the windows were frosting up as we were driving! Gorgeous sunny day now and have been in the park for an hour! Hope all babies went down easily tonight.

i already hate cc. She's awake again and i've been in twice already. I just want a decent nights sleep. She woke up at 11, 1, 3 (then she ended up in my bed) 5 and 7. Where has my lovely 13hrs sleep baby gone? I'm more exhausted than when she was a newborn.

hub (forgot to say but love the festive nn) how did it go last night in the end? Have you got your heating sorted now? If it helps cc was a nightmare for us for a good few days and she screamed for sometimes over 2 hours straight for the first few nights but at the minute she wakes up in general less at night and she mostly self settles in her cot at night within half an hour.

jane snow update please. I heard something about snow being on its way down south . The only positive in this if it snows badly here is DH can't work (he works outside and can't in snow) so although we lose money from him not working we get more time with him at home even if he does moan all the time about losing money .

she finally went to sleep at 2 so nearly 3hrs controlled crying. I did give her 3oz at 1am just in case she was hungry. But i gave it to her in the cot so i didn't take her out at all. She woke at 7am normally we'd doze till tom got up but from now on i'll be making her get up and see if it makes a difference.

deb well done you being nearly 2.5 stone . What do you get as an 'award' is it a big piece of chocolate cake ? I've leafed through the sw green day recipe book and thinking of doing sw lite next week trialling out some recipes and then go for it the week after once I know what I'm doing a bit more.

I've PMed you reastie. You get a sticker which I stick on my book and a certificate which I stick on my kitchen cupboard! I've found the recipes to be really pretty good, surprisingly. Top Tip- use Fry Light instead of oil. You will be ASTOUNDED how much oil you save, and you really really don't notice the difference.
