reastie massive well done on your 2lb, that's brilliant. You must be doing something right. I am being super strict with myself and have broken no rules so far since weigh in on Tuesday. what are you doing buying asparagus in November???

Had a 5am fecker this morning, shortly followed by Imy at 6.30. Took her to the GP today who prescribed some antibiotics which she promptly refused to take- Mummy I need CALPOL!. She's loads better today anyway so I'm not worried, I won't give them to her.

Got a question for you all- sleep related. S has been on 3 sleeps a day but I think has just shifted to 2 a day instead, after a screaming-related incident at lunchtime today . Anyway, Q is, what time do your babies have their naps, plus wake ups and bedtimes? S was up at 5 , nap 7.30-9.45, nap 2-3, bedtime just before 7.

DH is watching some drivel about JFK and keeps pausing it to tell me all these utterly boring and irrelevant pertinent facts. WHY DOES HE THINK I'M INTERESTED???!!!

at wiggles secret life, hope you got a quick bit of 'cleaning' done Like the thought of the girls discussing different levels of pain, they sound so funny!

ManCrushed aha, A had very strict regime of 3 half an hour naps a day, she just slept for 30 mins then her eyes would ping open, however that has all changed since she has started nursery, her naps are a bit all over the place and sometimes for an hour and a half however that only seems to be when she is at nursery So today she slept from 10am til 10.45, then for half an hour at 2pm, then for about an hour from 4pm til 5.
I try not to work out what leads to good sleep tho, the other day, when she slept through, she had a late nap from 6pm til 6.30 then bed at 7 - all fine. Last night she had similar but awake lots

Anyway thats enough boring waffling about A's sleep - I have a bag of white choc malteasers (I am such a pig at the moment, I blame the cold weather)

Just a quick post to wish tadjennyp a happy Thanksgiving. We're away to America tomorrow to visit family. L still has a cold and is grumpy, should be an enjoyable flight for those around us

DH and I had thee most amazing wedding day, everything was so perfect (except for me almost falling down the aisle and swearing because my dad stood on my dress and made me trip!) The food was good and the company even better. Although my hangover the day after was grim . I can truely say I have never felt happier than I did on my wedding day, I am proud that I did not cry during my vows or at all during the day. However DH and I both had a bad night on Monday thinking about Zoe and how much we missed her at our wedding.
Right I have to go DH is looking at me funny .

We are finding photos with Alice tricky as she won't sit still and as soon as I get the camera out she darts towards it and tries to eat it

deb I know, I know - buy seasonal . there are so many veg I can't eat with my IBS I get fed up of eating same old same old and thought I'd branch out into some asparagus in my stir fry

ponyo we will require photos of Anya in her elf suit, and if it's too small for her by christmas you know where you can send it for some useage hint hint

Oh and deb Alices naps vary but she will always have at least one nap in the morning and one nap in the afternoon, sometimes 2. Very approximately she might wake up at 7, nap 11 - 11:30, nap 2:30 - 3:30 and bed at 8. Very changeable though - yesterday she napped for over 2 hours late afternoon and I had to wake her up as it was nearly 6 and she'd had no dinner yet . She was up all evening then . She can sleep onme/in the car/in the buggy for ages but will very rarely sleep longer than half an hour in her cot in the day

reastie that's weird, S will do hours in her cot, but only 1/2 hr in car seat, she never gets to sit in her pushchair, her sister won't let her , and she's never slept on me, past about 6wks old! Apparently there's now an Autumn Season for purple sprouting broccoli, so if you can eat that it would be air-mile-guilt-free :)

Who knows mancrushed I will find out soon enough I suppose, fingers crossed though. I'm being spoilt today, dh bought kevin bridges tickets and he is taking to watch the twilight film ( yes I am a huge fan) via John Lewis to spend our wedding gift vouchers.

Poorly Thomas today he has come home from school early with a poorly tummy and has since had a few emergency trips to the loo, 'nough said!!!!

Well Sofia got her ears pierced and at the minute shows no sign of becoming more common , although am awaiting my MN flaming and my Mum brought her to McDs afterwards [snigger snigger]

Bloody nora. DEFINITELY need to drop a nap. S slept in the car late this pm and i've just put her in bed for the second time, fingers crossed she goes off this time.

Well I am feeling tres virtuous today- I gave blood this afternoon for the first time! I was always too wussy but since have innumerable blood tests with the girls I felt brave enough. My mum's had several transfusions so I feel like as a family we have a blood 'debt'.

wiggles I did indeed take some goodies from the hotel, some lush arran aromatics soap and moisturiser. How was S when she got them pierced?

No trip to JL it was far too rainy and windy to wander about town. Poor dh suffered through twilight and in return I am now supposed to be watching captain america.

jane knew you wouldn't let me down, Sofia was fine, she sat there and just got it done. My bloody mum was practically crying outside the shop, then she said the weirdest thing - "oh I'm terrible with stuff like that, I couldn't take you for your injections as a baby" - I didn't really think about it, but now am a bit about who took us, don't think it was my Dad!

What was the film like?

ManCrushed... well done, my sister donates blood and platelets. Mr W and I both had blood transfusions before the recommended date in the 80s so we're not allowed. Hope S sleeps for you.

Am going to have a nosy at Sofias school website to see if she's off on Wednesday, just heard today that Olivia is off, Mr W has taken the day off so am actually hoping that S is off so we can do something all together.

Just had a wee blub because Lily Allan has had her rainbow baby, a little girl. Think this champagne is going to my head!

Sofia is off on Wednesday, of course every other child is as well so may head to the seaside Buses and trains are off here too so either the roads will be really quiet or bunged

Hi all, sorry I've been AWOL again! Been a manic couple of weeks here, everyone has been ill, Lottie has had some sort of vomiting bug so has been really clingy, also not sleeping so great again because it's thrown her out of sorts so I'm knackered and feel crap .
