Loving the thought of the babies as bridesmaids! Grin

delia c is such a cutieSmile.

< waves excitedly to tarlia> hope you are ok , it's good to hear from you. I get married next sat Grin

chocc I always wanted to go to a roller disco when I was a kid I am well Envy.

Sorry that's all I remember, I'm on my phone and can't scroll back.

Busy old day for me , makeup then I had to iron 72 freaking chair sashes it took me 4 hours! Just back from dinner with df it was yum, I was naughty and had curry. Grin

Hope you all have a good night.

janedoe25 · 11/11/2011 21:09

Ah ponyo you made tear up (in a good
Way).

ledkr how are you? When is dilly's op?

ILovePonyo · 11/11/2011 21:38

Aww jane (glad it was in a good way) I thought "hope you don't mind me saying that" but then thought its true anyway - I'm sure you'll be thinking it yourself! A week next sat blimey....

Night ladies, hope all babies sleep well, A has been waking at 6am which I can deal with but 7 would be much nicer... Hmm

WeAreBorg · 11/11/2011 22:39

Alreet

jane ooh very excited for you!
delia claudia is so cute, she looks a bit suri cruise non?
choc aah, roller discos, child of the 80s that I am would love that. My balance is rubbish though.
ponyo sweet with A getting excited that all her ladies are there. N has been like that with my parents being up, as if all his servants are present to do his bidding.
tarlia hello, nice to see you. sorry you are not doing so well, hope you feel able to post any time you need to
ledkr fake alcohol seems incredibly wrong.

Well work is not to bad. Nate is not touching any formula, and waits 13 hours until I am back for his milk. emski N is like that too, I hate being away from him, every time anyone at work asked about him I felt weepy and had to change the subject! [saddo].

I like the idea of racing the babies, N is quite fast but easily distracted so I think he would lose. He is also a magnet for other babies - they always come up to him and try to use him as a climbing frame. They are massive and he is a titch, seems so unfair! He was ridden on by a fat one year old the other day, mum did nothing!

hubbard86 · 12/11/2011 00:45

racing babies freya will win as i'll pick her up and distract the other babies with quavers and choc fingers and carry her past them to finish first :)
No news on appt yet but spoke to consultants office this morning and they couldn't find the fax so receptionist rang gps to get another referral letter. Just have to wait on appt makers to pull their fingers out. If i've heard no more by wed i'll be ringing again.
I've been doing lots of research on it and it's very unusual for a hip dislocation after successful pavlik harness treatment. But i have been preparing myself for what maybe to come and it's alot clearer now in my head. I just have to keep thinking at least it can be fixed. Her first steps will be a miracle after all she's been/going/going to go through.

ponyo freya gets like that when theres music on. Starts fist pumping and rocking like a maniac with a huge grin on her face. It's so funny to see.
jane 72 i'm suprised your arms not fallen off.
borg i really hate it when a mum does nothing about childs behaviour when out. I still use the naughty chair a playgroup if toms naughty. It's one of my pet peeves. The other day tom shouted at this boy "no, naughty stop" and started to cry as the boy had hit him a couple of times, the mother came over and had the cheek to say tom had started it and boys will be boys. "No tom didn't start it and if you hadn't of been drinking coffee, eating the cake i made and chatting to your friends then you would of seen what your son was doing." she soon ran off with her tail between her legs. She was about 12 i think though and caught me in a bad mood.
ledkr does fake alcohol just mean shloer or appletizer?

wigglesrock · 12/11/2011 07:28

Morning Grin, at work all weekend so just a quick wave. Work going well, they seem more concerned about me now that I'm back to work with a baby re hours, extra shifts etc than they were the whole time I was pregnant Hmm.

emski Anna wants carried/held a lot more recently, she's not happy if you put her down well unless you let her play with the dogs food!!

jane Shock at ironing, I'd have to take a week off after that Grin We had a hens night in last night, made me think of you.

deliaskis lovely pics, I ,never mind Anna is coveting Cs white coat Grin

Right off to get ready, well get the 3 stooges ready and throw them up to my parents. See you later alligator.

Deliaskis · 12/11/2011 08:44

jane I hope you understand you actually ARE having 3 matching baby bridesmaids now. It started off as a joke, but is now real.

Ponyo I think all nurseries will do the photos etc. I also get a report about eats, sleeps and poos etc. but they also do her 'learning journey' which has pics in and comments about things she has done.

wiggles the white coat is v cute but super impractical. MIL bought it when she was born but she only just fits it. I'm dull, I only ever buy her T-shirts and jeans, MIL buys her designer stuff Shock (why?).

D

reastie · 12/11/2011 18:04

Hi Ladies, hope everyone well. Just thought i'd let you know I got a letter from hv with an apt time come through which isn't until december Confused .

needto how's it going with DH?

Agree with delia jane - we will turn up for bridesmaids duties and free food and drink Wink . Hope you're getting everything done OK and DF (soon to be dh) is helping

hubbard go you telling the other mother about their tearaway - that's the sort of thing I'd love to do but too scared Blush . Hope that apt comes through soon.

borg I'm sorry but Grin to N being ridden on by a 1 yo

Ladies I am trying my best not to eat too much - the only snacks I've had all day have been a banana, a fruit yoghurt and 4 oat cakes (this is good work for me) and I've been healthy with soup for lunch and veg stew for dinner. That plus the little bits of exercise I've been doing and general healthy eating at least I know I've done my best so if I'm still no lighter next week at weigh in I'm hoping to tell ff lady where to go. I am so hungry all the time though [pig emoticon] Confused

ledkr · 12/11/2011 22:05

reastie i hope you had your singular piece of fruit for breakfast Grin Yes tell her to get stuffed, you shouldnt be hungry tho Sad I had lentil dhal-sp?for lunch it was sooo yummy.

wiggs odd about work eh? Dilly is wanting carrying a lot now too,i put it down to her extreme tiredness at her lack of sleep. It actually getting worse, she woke at 2 then five last night, its really affecting me now.

Tried a bit of cc tonight to get her to sleep as she was fighting it.Im pretty sure its not for her cos she literally doesnt give up,no change in tempo or volume for half an hour, cant do it.Ex h has been at it again.Took El out and casually announced yet another baby on the way but made no attempt to discuss it with her, just told her.She was mortified and cried in my arms when she got home, more about his lack of special announcement for her than anything.
She then had to perform in a show and i could see she was struggling.
I wish i could run away with her and not let him hurt her.

Off to watch Paul Gascoine on Piers Morgan. So interesting, hes mental.

Emski76 · 13/11/2011 07:11

Oh Ledkr, sorry about D's night wakings. When Noah was crying the other night I tried leaving him and he kept screaming for about 20 minutes, when I went in and picked him up he was literally sobbing and covered in snot. Don't think cc is for him either!
I feel for Ella with her dad. My dad was similar, but in that he treated my sister differently to me. In the end I stopped seeing him when I was about 12, and he said some awful things about me, messed me up for years. Even now, I've tried to heal our relationship but he's still a useless tw*t. She's lucky her mum takes such good care of her, unfortunately my mum was never very good at the emotional stuff. It must really hurt you to see her upset and trying to fight it. Give her a big hug from Aunt Emski xx

Reastie, you had a letter from your hv??? Could she not have called you just for a chat? And you have to wait until December until your appointment! What a rubbish way to treat someone! I'm angry for you, p.s. tell the ff lady to p*ss off from me!!!

We're off to in laws today, I wonder how many times I'll have to bite my tongue!! Mil is cooking a lovely roast so that will make up for it!

ledkr · 13/11/2011 09:47

Thanks ems I have asimilar scenario with both parents. My mum clearly favours my younger step sisters, doesnt even hide it Sad My Dad is a self centred selfish berk who didnt want to know us when we were kids but is now old and trying to force a relationship on me that im uncomfortable with. Tlaks about nothing else but himself,is sexist and racist and just not someone i would normally associate with.

Ella has so mujch to deal with and Dads gf is very young and the ow so she is very insecure and hates the fact that he has other kids and a link to me,she;s ok to Ella but not brilliant iyswim.I fell like getting on a plane to Ibiza with her and never comoing back. Also my ds's who never see him will find it hard if he has a boy, poor things.I hate him but have to support Ella in what she wants to do.

In other news Dilly did her usual wake in night and then early, only she threw into the mix not settling untill 9.30 so a great night here not.
Dh seems to think if he gets up once at night he can stay in bed all morning yet if i stay in bed its generally until about 8.30 cos i feel sorry for him.
Im going to have some me time later may go swimming or to see a movie on my own.Is it you ems that does this or one of the others?

Where is mizk btw?

Emski76 · 13/11/2011 10:25

Ledkr, your being great by supporting Ellain what she wants to do. Why do some dads think they can get away with behaviour like this.

I usually have Sundays to myself but as I'm back at work now I miss seeing my boys do am going to in laws with them today. Meeting up with dh cousin whose baby is three weeks older than Noah.
Enjoy some time to yourself today. You deserve it

americanexpat · 13/11/2011 11:39

I've been reading about the 9 month sleep regression and I think that's what L and some of the other babies are going through. He did settle himself twice last night and I think would have done another time if I'd left him a bit longer. I worry about leaving him though because he was still waking to eat before all this kicked off.

ledkr - Poor Ella. She's so lucky to have you as her mum.

Borg - Grin at the other baby riding Nate. L is that baby Blush so I have to be on him like a hawk at playgroups.

jane - Can't believe it's less than a week now!

janedoe25 · 13/11/2011 13:20

ledkr ex is a twat, poor ella. She is very lucky she has you and dh though, I think it is bloody amazing the committment he made to you and your children. Boo to Dilly and her shite sleep at the mo, remember this too shall pass.

emski enjoy your family day.

american Grin at L the baby jockey!

Tarlia · 13/11/2011 15:51

jane 6 sleeps Grin to go!! How exciting. Well done for doing all that ironing, you poor thing.

D C is just gorgeous. Such beautiful big eyes.

Borg I can't see your pics either :( Bless N being the climbing frame. Z usually is too but luckily he is one of those huge babies - he just sits there and lets them climb him or pull his ears while his lip curls but he says nothing. Poor thing, its often mummy to the rescue.

ledkr Poor Ella, I hope she is feeling a little better about it today. He sounds like a right a.hole.

Thank you for the welcome back. Still inlaw problems, they have all joined in now as the MIL went around telling each person individually that I'd done xyz, which of course she made up and if they are friends with me, she wont be with them..wtf. My mood seems to be sinking, I know I should get to the Drs, but I'm too scared to hear what they will say/do. I feel like I'm detached from everyone/thing except Z and go from not caring to (secretly) crying, but I can't say it out loud.

I've added a couple of new photos, let me know if I need to update my 'mates'.

WeAreBorg · 13/11/2011 16:51

Tarlia I have added you as a mate, please add me!!

ledkr poor Ella, she has a brilliant real dad now and a fab mum so sod ex-h the massive twat.

hubbard thinking of you and Freya, the consultant will squeeze her in.

Ha ha, yes N being a horsey was very funny but he looked so bewildered bless him. He is only a wee lad and just gets trampled on!

expat N is always rubbish but he is worse than usual lately, so thinking the 9 month regression. We were definitely worse at 4m and there's one then. He is going to bed around 930-10 these days, just cannot get him any earlier and can only manage about 40mins in his cot so I'm not getting an evening either. I can't leave him to cry in case he falls and bangs his head [pfb]. Even in bed with us these days he is very restless but at least I don't have to get up!

[boast alert] the photographer who did Ns photos wants to use him for her adverts, will just be in a local mag (living north) and his pic is tiny but I'm still excited, and will probably buy lots of mags and stand outside newsagents showing random old biddies his photo. We will probably stop talking to you all when we're rich and famous but will deign to grace you with our fabulous presence for now Wink

Well Nate the great beauty stinks of shit and has got two black hands and handprints all over the carpet from our coals so off to sort this mess out...

Tarlia · 13/11/2011 17:50

Borg I've added you. He is a wee cutie! Congrats on the mag, don't forget us when you are sipping champagne for breakfast :D.

Tarlia · 13/11/2011 17:51

That sounds more alcoholic than, rich and famous, but you get the gist!

reastie · 13/11/2011 18:17

american there's a 9 month sleep regression????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, ALice is finally just settling better at night and DH and I are enjoying some time together

deb we went to dover castle today and I gave a big wave in your direction Grin

ledkr feel Sad for ella in the way your exh told her re: baby. He sounds so unthoughtful

tarlia what you say re: low mood sounds just like I had - I cried myself to sleep many nights and cried alot secretly but told no one. It got to the point where I started fantasising about dying before I went to the gp Shock . I thought the GP would tell me I was making it up so I wrote down all my thoughts for her to read. She gave me medication (which I still haven't taken Blush ) and my hv is visiting in a few weeks for a chat. Honestly - no one will judge you and when I finally told dh what was going on in my head I did feel great relief. pm me if you want a chat. Loving the piccies btw

borg ohhh, look at you with your model baby Wink

When we were out today I was reading a time line of past kings/queens etc on a museum type board ( Blush ) and I saw the name Adela. I've never heard of that one before, but now I love it and wish I knew of it before having Alice as I feel sure I'd pick that in preference to Alice. Feel really annoyed . Does anyone else ever wish they had picked another name for their LO or is this just me? DH said we shall have to have another one to call it Adela Shock

NeedToSleepZZZ · 13/11/2011 18:26

Just popping on whilst doing dinner to say hello to everyone, will do a decent post soon, promise Confused

Mainly wanted to wish ledkr well and will be thinking of you and Dilly tomorrow. I have everything crossed that she sleeps well tonight although I imagine you'll be up anyway. Impossible to do but try not to worry, hopefully by this time next week everything will be back to normal (or sooner than that hopefully!)

janedoe25 · 13/11/2011 19:28

Oh ledkr Is it Dilly's op tomorrow? It has come round quickly. Remember we are all here for hand holding and to pass on the Wine to you. Huge hugs to you and Dilly! x

debka · 13/11/2011 19:36

ledkr is it Dilly's op tomorrow???? So sorry you and Ella are going through all this with xH, he sounds such a knob.

tarlia what a cutie :) Sorry to hear about more pil trouble, mil sounds deranged! Mine are grim but live miles away and never visit/call so it doesn't bother me.

reastie lovely day for it, did Alice enjoy the tunnels? Grin You'll have driven within about 2 miles of my house! Next time come for a cup of tea :)

Poor S is a poorly bunny, she's got the runs, 5 times today, 5 times yesterday and she's tired and whingey with it too. Woke at 5am this morning too Shock which didn't help my mood! If she's not better tomorrow I'll take her to the GP (first visit!). Am sick of wiping up what is visibly yesterday's tea off her arse every morning Grin.

debka · 13/11/2011 19:37

x post jane- just think, this time in a week you'll be a mrs Grin

janedoe25 · 13/11/2011 19:44

debka eeek! This time next week I will also be 30 Shock booooo!
Hope S is feeling better poor little lamb.

janedoe25 · 13/11/2011 19:47

Oh fgs, hit post too soon again!

tarlia Im sorry you are feeling so bad, maybe you should take a leaf out of reastie's book and speak to your doctor. We are here anytime you want to get things off your chest.
