Aww stac! That's a big step isn't it!? Glad you had a lovely day, always nice when dp's take you shopping Grin

dylthan fingers crossed for you tonight!

tsc boat trip sounds good, I've been wanting to go on one for ages. Might have to chat up DH if when he gets some leave.

trudy hope things pick up for you, whatever it is, it can't last forever

DH is gone again, feels like he only just got back :( and I spent most of this morning in bed feeling like death and a lot of yesterday staggering around town wondering which flower pot would be the least obvious to throw up in. Seriously, HOW DOES ANYONE WORK DURING THE 1ST TRIMESTER?? I'm amazed that anyone manages anything other than crawling downstairs via both toilets and curling up on the sofa with two screaming children and Cbeebies.

glad you had a lovely day stac

it's hard to sum up the style day in terms of advice as it was very specific to me iyswim?

dylth good luck. like mlic says it only takes a few days and then they forget they had it. you do have to wait for a time when you can catch up on sleep or cope without as it prob will be a rough few nights. i do cuddle/shush pat but tbh nothing helps that much - you just have to let the time pass

loved your story about the couple turning up mlic Grin

Belated happy birthday stac. Sounds like a lovely day

Survey answers:

No of feeds - 2 or 3

Times - 7 am, 6.30 pm then one I overnight (has been 5 ish) He was also having an afternoon feed until Thursday. Hoping he's dropped it now as I haven't brought my pump with me to work or sent any.milk to nursery. Although he did ask for it yesterday Confused

Type/how - bf. Will also drink a little cows milk from a cup. Nursery have determined that he doesn't know what to do with a bottle

DesperateHousewife21 · 15/08/2011 08:27

how many milk feeds?

Generally 2 but they can be on and off, esp at night.

what times?

Morning for his nap then bedtime.

bf, formula or cows milk (cup or bottle)?

BF

D slept from 7:30 til 7:15 but he woke 5 times

Woodlands · 15/08/2011 08:33

how many milk feeds?
Three, generally. He can go a whole day at nursery without one if necessary, so am happy to keep it at that. He sometimes has an extra feed if he's grouchy/unwell etc.

what times?
6.30am, 1pm, 7pm

bf, formula or cows milk (cup or bottle)?
BF

PS J woke at 4am. I used to let him scream a bit but that's when there was no one downstairs - now there's someone living in the flat below us and he sleeps directly below J's room so it seems really antisocial for him to cry for long in the night. So I brought him into bed with us but he kicked us and pulled our hair for ages so we put him back in his cot at 5ish and I heard him talking to himself for a while after that. am sleepy...

That is so annoying mlic. Too late for you to say no now but at least you'll know in future (I'll bear it in mind too!)

Really sad about your grandma. How old is she?

tsc step away from the bf or you'll end up like your 'bf the 4 yo in the park' lady :D

It does sound like you weekend working is timely - you 'll have to be strong and stick to it when you get back tho. Where/what will you be doing work-wise?

Think we're going to have to think about dropping or reducing F's nap :( he's been a bloody mare to get down in the evenings this week which isn't like him (he's never keen but it doesn't take long usually whereas it's taken well over an hour for past few evenings)

How're you feeling chul? Hope this week flies by for you

mlic that's sad news about your gran. Are you ok?

tsc definitely seems the best opportunity to try and break fongs habits.

cakes yy I meant did you get good advice from the day? I imagine it to be a bit gok wan.

Mini survey

Feeds twice morning and night cows milk from bottle and beaker aat other times.

R stayed in my aunts on saturday night, she slept through till 8am. She never does this here she always wake 3 and 4 times a night and I don't know why? She only has one naap of an hour in the afternoon so I don't think she needs that dropped. Wish I knew what I was doing wrong :(
