Aw mlic :( that's not a nice thing to read at all. Surely if that was the case E would be angry and irritable too?

dylthan Grin hooray!

tsc has he gone to sleep yet?

I've nearly finished knitting L a wraparound top. If I get cracking I could finish it in a week but it'll probably take me more like a couple of months. It's up to 3 years though so I can't take too long or she'll never get to wear it! (Like S's jumper...)

cant type much G has the cold from hell and is literally crying non stop unless i hold her.

at least it's weekend and dh can take A off my hands

hope y'all well

viksam · 05/08/2011 22:03

Oh tsc i hope its not as bad as you think.
mylife that sucks, but i dont think non-coping is at all right, i think u cope amazingly, i would want to know why that was said.
stac hope tonight is better.
cake did u cry at A walking?
woodlands glad J had a good day, hope u get a good night.
Im shattered and MUST go to bed........once i have finished my texting..........hahaha!

CakeandRoses · 05/08/2011 23:43

yy, vik totally wept Grin

it's the best feeling isn't it Dylth? Nice one B!

mlic it's always hard seeing notes written about you by others but you really shouldn't feel it's any negative reflection on you whatsoever. By saying 'secondary' he meant noisy's behaviour is potentially causing the suspected PND (not the other way round). Given you yourself have wondered about pnd again and have at times felt understandably down about the situation then what he wrote was fair. what annoys me is that fuck all has really been done to help you or sort out w's issue despite him writing that Sad

like Vik said you cope admirably. please don't knock yourself

especially now you've learnt to say pre-school Grin

trudy you ok?

I think D slept all night...I put him down at 7:40, he woke 3 times before I went to bed, every half an hour on the dot. Then I went to bed and next thing I know Im looking at the clock and it says 6am and hes in the same place where he went to sleep so Im considering that a good night :)

Fuck awful night here too...and i'm crazy busy today and out tonight...pass me the matchsticks and coffee

Dylthan · 06/08/2011 09:05

tsc are you still feeding F through the night? If you aren't then you should off just got up and gone somewhere else and left dp to it if he wasn't prepared to move.

It seems crazy for you to both be worn out. Don't give dp any sympathy today his tiredness is completely self inflicted if he had the option to get some more sleep and he didn't take it then he has no right to complain about being tired.

How are your glands today?

mlic would you like the gp to do something following that letter?

cake it is an amazing feeling I'm so proud of her. :o Dylan was walking at 10months so it just always seemed like he has walked but B was showing no signs of wanting to walk on her own and then all of a sudden she's off. I was also really worried that I would miss her first steps with working but I'm so relieved and over the moon that I was there for them :o

dh I'm glad that D slept well for you last night.

mlic There's a big difference to the average person you meet and a doctor used to seeing 'difficult' babies and their mothers in a situation where you're focused on talking about it. I'm sure the average bod would just think you're coping well and not think of pnd at all.

Can you cancel/rearrange tsc? You're going to end up desperately ill if you don't get a break/sleep

tsc you really need to rest, I couldnt shift the virus I had until after nearly 2 weeks I told DH he had no choice but to take over the care totally of L then in that one day of rest I improved.
mlic sounds shitty about having to read that :(
dylthan well done to the little walker!!!

Ive only just woke up Shock I didnt get in too late, we didnt leave my house til 11, I was so drunk, and ive just been sick! DH has taken L to the new surestart dads group, they get bacon butties! thats the only reaon he has gone I bet, he will have the shock of his life when they sing at the end! Grin

Dylthan · 06/08/2011 16:15

B's not really walking today we think it might be because she has a re-usable nappy on and they're a little bit more bulky than the disposables. We put disposables on when she goes to mums because she can't be arsed with the faff.

Which reminds me chulita or anyone else using reusable nappies which type of liner are you using we're using fleece ones and I'm not enjoying the scrapping poo into the toilet part. We did have flushable ones once upon a time but they were really thin and would just end up as a scrunched up ball of poo so were as much use as a chocolate teapot.

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/08/2011 21:00

GRR D keeps waking up after half an hour of sleeping, hes done it for both naps and at the beginning of bedtime until I go to bed. He obv needs more sleep because hes cranky after his naps but wont go back to sleep once hes woken up.

He does it where ever and however he goes to sleep too, pram, car, bed etc so who knows what it is. Think he may be teething.

WhatSheSaid · 07/08/2011 02:43

Having a shocker of a day with G again, still full of cold and crying unless held. Even crying when held quite often.

Raining too so we're stuck in but dh has just taken A and the dog for a quick run round the park, they're now getting a DVD to fill the rest of the afternoon.

Just watching BBC World, it's all looking a bit scary in Tottenham. You will all wake up to this in about 5 hours!

Chulita · 07/08/2011 07:51

dylthan we use the mothercare flushable ones, they seem to work well for us. I used fleece but L being who she is she'd get the most awful nappy rash

wss that is a bit Confused there wasn't that much covering of the shooting so I don't know the ins and outs of it.

dh it's all phases isn't it? just when you think you've got the hang of it they go and change on you. At this age L was sleeping 13-14 hours a night plus two naps...we get no where near that out of S.

memphis that was a mammoth lie-in! Envy you obviously needed it!

DH is off today :( Crazy isn't it? He used to go away for 4 months at a time and I got on with it, this time it's only 4 weeks and we're pretty sure he'll manage to get back for at least this weekend and maybe the next and yet I really don't want him to go. I think I'm going to go up to our house and paint/go to the zoo/dump the kids on my parents and get some sleep. I just felt really really rough yesterday and I'm not really wanting to drive today...

CakeandRoses · 07/08/2011 08:13

it must have been scary watching that RT wss.

hope you get a better night with G tonight.

chul i really feel for you having to do without dh there. i'd really struggle in that situation so i admire how well you're doing and how cheerful you are most of the time

bit knackered so post properly later but had by 'colours done' yday and i'm a paintbox spring apparently

OP posts:
Chulita · 07/08/2011 08:20

Paintbox spring eh? Confused

memphis83 · 07/08/2011 08:52
