Memphis best of luck with it!
Woodlands thats lovely news about your friend! Hope everything goes well for her!
Cakes and mlic....you text?!Envy don't know why but that makes me jealous!!
Chulita i've got no suggestions but you have my sympathy!
Well got nearly everything done in the house today. Just have to put away the clothes and hoover upstairs. And I literally didn't sit down until I was eating dinner. Then went to circuit training to find out it was cancelled. Grrrr! So came home and ate biscuits instead!
Well done to A on the walking cakes! Such an exciting time!

Chulita · 04/08/2011 20:59

memphis don't go in thinking that! Every interview is practice for the next one anyway, so nothing's ever a waste. With that sort of background, as cake says, it's still valid regardless of how long ago it was.

Well done Lady A!

mlic I'm with you, as much as I'd like a part-time job, my unskilled work wouldn't pay the nursery fees by any stretch!

melissa my L is such a pain at the moment, completely gorgeous but winds me right up/won't listen/attacks S at the drop of a hat - makes life soooo difficult! Every toilet stop I have I just hear her with that I'm-making-S-cry-and-mum's-not-here-to-stop-me cackle til I go and sort her out. I feel for you on the doodled on walls too...

stac hope you have it out with him and get back to mn Grin

Crossing my fingers for twins, I really don't want to do this again!

Chulita · 04/08/2011 21:02

Grin fairy I was Hmm too, let's leave them to their 'group within a group' then Wink

(enough emoticons in there to let you two know I'm not serious? I get misunderstood on so many mn threads, you can never be too careful)

tsc good on F for having good taste and shopping in JL, glad he's so much better! It's bad when you desperately want work just for a break Shock Hope your dp gives you a rest this weekend.

kkfairybrains · 04/08/2011 21:09

Looks so adorable when they toddle round like that tsc! E walks everywhere now and has done for a few weeks. there was no stopping her once she started!
Chul Grin so do you want my number?! Wink

kk I was thinking that, oh does everyone text and no one texts me?!! :( Grin

memphis83 · 04/08/2011 21:24

Oh and fuckity fuck, shows how much I use the computer for real grown up things, I havent used Microsoft Office since I got the laptop and I havent entered the product key so wont let me in to the typey bit! this is fate, I cant write a cv!!

kkfairybrains · 04/08/2011 21:30

That was exactly what I was thinking memph! Ha ha! I feel better now! Why don't you write it out by hand and when you're happy with it go on someone elses computer and e-mail it to yourself.
Mlic Grin

how the fuck do you think mlic and i arrange our centerparc meet-ups if we can't contact each other? Grin

chul you properly made me snort banana custard cupcake all over my keyboard with the impression of L cackling when you go to the loo. i have to say it's quite relaxing to think F & A are in totally separate rooms at nursery, with like proper supervision and walls between them and everything

Grin at 'typey' bit memph. don;t you have the original MS disc?

mlic it's pre-school remember. pre-school not school Wink

MalibuStac · 04/08/2011 22:38

Is everyone texting? My numbers available.

All sorted with dp, fight about money!

tsc how cute is F? Is dp helping out?

I'm in the gang for dp/dhs who don't hear crying babies. How do they switch off?

Aw chu twins would be a handful, I saw a lady today at softplay with a 4yo and twins and she was frazzled. My aunt however loved having twins and her son same age gap. Fingers crossed for twins.

melissa whens L getting the operation?

cakes since your good with cv's could you have a look at mine?

memphis think cakes is right on the basis you can be a bit creative with cv its just knowing how.

mlic have you had alfresco dining yet?

MelissaM · 05/08/2011 03:45

cake yes on days like yesterday I wish I was at work Confused Well done Lady A!

TSC I've got your numberGrin

chul I hear "mummy, I didn't do anything" which obviously means twas.mr

MelissaM · 05/08/2011 03:54

"Me" even.

Folding camper all packed and hitched to car. Just got a couple of books, a few toys and some food to gather and we're all set for a weekend in weymouth:) Don't think the stress of having to get everything sorted last night and the thought of having to tow this huge thing to dh's office has helped my mood today. Sometimes wish his office was nearer - will take nearly an hour to get there

stac glad all sorted with dp. Don't have a date for L's op, but looks like beginning of September

cake no L.isn't dairy free. Did discuss with consultant and she didnt think it was.the best.idea.

MelissaM · 05/08/2011 03:57

Aargh why does it keep posting when I'm not finished! I did try a week df and have cut down/switches times that he eats dairy, which helps with his wind pains

Right monster resettled fed I'm going back to bed. Dh's alarm goes off in a couple of hours :(

cakes sorted the typey bit, I did a GCSE in IT you know Grin But I am the girl that got pought a computed for college and used wordpad for 2 years as I didnt know what Microsoft Word was Blush
Well last night L was up loads, and I didnt shift my arse out the bed, made DH do it! Then when he gave in and gave him a bottle I tutted and said well you can get him back out of that routine, even though ive done it all week Grin
Got to go food shopping, to this massive soft play hell to see a friend, finish this cv and get sorted for night out today loads to do and not sure how to fit it in!

CakeandRoses · 05/08/2011 08:00

mlic A uniform, really? Shock 3 does seem tiny. tis still pre-school tho, it isn't school hours is it? Grin

3am? Sad which one?

melissa i'm quite surprised the consultant didn't suggest L goes dairy-free. there's such a strong link between dairy and mucus/ear probs as i'm sure you know. i would personally get a second opinion on that

stac yy, send it over and i'll have a look.

chul was just thinking about your early riser/s. what time do they eat last? i have to give mine extra food after nursery as they eat so early there, otherwise they both wake up super-early.

talking of which, Lady A ate for england after nursery night and is still now sleeping off the excesses of her huge exertion Hmm last night

nice day ahead (rain and teething permitting) meeting a couple of friends with their DCs (my two's BFFs Smile) for brunch in town then round to my cousin's this afternoon for lunch, she's got a 4yo and an 8 year old so F will just trundle round hero-worshipping them.

right, she's just woken up, catch y'all later Wink

Whats all this about texting??

I wrote a post yesterday and my internet went down so it didnt post, cant remember what I wrote though.

stac I wont see those girls til Mon at the group, they'll either apologise or pretend it never happened.

D slept til 7:40 this morning, he woke in the night but not as bad as he has been recently.

Chulita · 05/08/2011 08:43

melissa I would question the dairy thing too, esp if you changing the amounts/times he has it has made a difference. If the consultant isn't a dietician that won't be their area of expertise.

mlic :( I hope they're nice to you today, you going to be able to get out somewhere?

cake they eat between 5 and 6pm, this morning they both woke up just gone 6am despite S having a morning nap. I'm so confused! Sounds like a lovely day you've got planned, have fun!

memphis your poor DH Grin good for you for turfing him out of bed though!

stac I love how you say 'I know someone who's frazzled with twins, hope you get them' Grin

I hardly text anyone at the mo, I find people always text at really bad times so I have a quick read to make sure it's not urgent and then forget to answer. It's always at the bottom of the nappy bag too so half the time I can't be arsed to dig it out! Funny considering I used to practically sleep with it before I got married and moved away from all my friends

S doesn't want to crawl anywhere now, I made a tunnel out of tables with quilt over it yesterday and S insisted on trying to walk through it despite it being about neck height on him!

Chulita · 05/08/2011 08:44

dh basically we all text each other outside of mn, apart from you cos you're not 'in the gang' Wink

Chulita · 05/08/2011 08:44

That's a brilliant sleep too! Envy Well done D!

Chulita · 05/08/2011 08:49

Sorry, I properly chortled at this status from one of my boarding school friends:
"Thinking of sending my little girl to preschool any subjections? Home school is out!!! We would kill each other!"
Nothing to do with your grasp of the english language then?
