took jacob to the docs yesterday about his skin and he has diagnosed childhood eczema. gave me cream. hopefully he will grow out of it. its supposed to run in families but i dont know anyone who has had it.

first day back at work yesterday and Harlyns first full day at nursery. After sobbing myself to sleep the night before, all went reasonably well. A little bit of crying and not much sleep time but it coud have been worse I suppose. Oh the guilt!!!!

Got the christening to look forward to on Sunday so am really looking forward to that. Hope your plans are going well too newmum.

We're getting there slowly jodey, got a rehersal tonight at 6 at the church then a full day of making stuff for the buffet tomorrow and setting up at the pub for afterwards on sunday morning the everything is done, very busy but enjoying it!

We've all got busy weekends ahead. we're at a wedding tomorrow. Very excited. & the christenings on sunday. Hope they both go well!

Jodey I know exactly how you feel. The boys are settling in well tho & even tho ds1 tried to give me his pennies so i don't have to go to work, he seems to enjoy it. I had an awful day today tho. Nothing to do with work or nursery! Well, i was at work but it wasn't the job! I stupidly misjudged the distance when passing a parked car & completely wiped its wing mirror out! Its dented our car and as if to add insult to injuy it was the bmw, not my trusty old mini! I had to leave a note with my number but as yet they've not phoned. I'm praying its because the damage wasn't as bad as it looked, they don't believe i've left my genuine number or i accidently did leave the wrong number!!!!! Fingers crossed!

Grace has got the worst nappy rash ever, literally screaming the house down with it it's breaking my heart! a bit tmi but she's doing wet trumps that don't smell but it's given her a really chapped bum, also her tummy feels a bit hard but my mum said that's exactly what happened to me when I was teething. I just feel so sorry for her!

Sorry havent posted am now back to work and shattered tired! In bed for ten. Cant believe how knackered I have been. DH off this week but back to work on monday so the fun truly starts on monday! Harry loves school. Only nine boys in his class which is great as he knows half of them already and it will be easy for parties!! Phoebe has taken to creche - yay!! She loves all the action! Now if only she would eat something!! its been painful trying to feed her!

Sassy Im sorry to hear about your dps sister. Sending loads of positive energy your way. I know its stressful on you so take care of yourself and dont worry bout your little bean. I went thru so much when I was pregnant with Phoebe and was never so stressed or sad in my life yet I have the happiest chirpiest little lady...full of personality!

Happy birthday to Maia and to Louis yesterday! Aphra has had a lovely day today with her dad: pressies to open this morning (fun with tearing paper) and out in the beautiful sunshine to the park. Family day tomorrow with lots of folks coming round for a nice lunch and many birthday hugs. DP took some birthday photos too: I'll post a link in a follow-up.

Been really busy, only one more week of placement left then I start my new job on the Emergency Admissions Unit as a newly Qualify Nurse hooray

Hope everyone is keeping well, Maria-Ann has been poorley with a viral infection, temps of 38.6 she was up every half hour last night, stripped her down to a vest and stuck the fan on, gave her regular parcetamol and even woke her up at 2.20am to give it her in the hope it would keep her temp down. Totally shattered!!!!

dp and me have had a really nice weekend. i think it was just a wobble.
we've been in touch with sil to try to visit but she is keeping herself very busy-which is understandable- so not managed to see her. she was out all day yesterday and went clubbing and she is out for the day today. she might not want us to see her as well-which is also understsndable- might make it feel like everyone wants to visit her cos she is sick iyswim. she is finding out the results 2pm mon.

we went car shopping yesterday. think we have found our car. its a 7 seater. going back on fri to get it. got a choice between 2. they are basically the same car but one is older with more miles - not much though.

What type of car is it Sassy We have a 7 seater KIA Sedona but need to change it next year and not sure if should stick with it or try something new. I like driving different cars so changing every 3 years is fun for me. I have gone bigger each time so have my eyes on an ex army truck. I hope your SIL gets good news

We had Louis' birthday party yesterday. We decided to have a picnic on the green near our house - lots of friends, babies, children. We were really lucky with the weather and everyone seemed to have a really good time. Louis was a real little star - loved all the attention. It was so nice to have so many friends from different parts of our lives all together, and I was really touched that a few came from quite far away just to celebrate with us. And, even if I do say so myself, his hot-air balloon birthday cake was wicked

Warning! Major mummy boast coming!

My boys are fantastic! We went to my cousins wedding on sat & they were just so well behaved. Olly fell asleep during the 1st hymn so slept through the service, he then happily played around in the grounds of the reception venue. He got really cross at 1 point, then I realised that it was 5pm and he was starving. Gave him his tea, he carried on playing. Sat like an angel through the meal, eating peas & chocolate (he's 1 now ) then fell asleep just in time for the speeches. He woke up again at about 9.30 & charmed everone by his disco dancing! Toby never made a sound through the service or the speeches & spent the rest of the time running round crazily with his cousins. It was a fantastic day & I was sooooooo proud of them! Olly even then gave us a lie in till 6.45am! He's never slept that late. Shame we had to keep him up till 12mn for him to do it!
