needto gl with the thread, I don't think some people have read it properly (esp. the NOT SERIOUS bit Hmm )

choco I'm with you on the weaning, K choked gagged on some apple earlier - it can't have been for more than 6 seconds but it was the longest 6 seconds ever - he was fine and didn't seem to notice but I had a bit of a 'moment'.

We are doing it super slow (weaning, that is, not that ), and not really in a routine at all as we are moving around for the next 3 weeks and so it's hard to introduce things properly. Also STILL waiting for a highchair might have to get ourselves to Ikea and get this famous antilop thing :o

ledkr holiday sounds lovely, I'll be in Dorset from about the 12th for a week or so, maybe we'll pop in (find you by the pool, then, you'll be the one with the Wine ?)

jane sounds like fun Wink

NeedToSleepZZZ · 31/07/2011 18:54

Wow, can't believe it, it's already top in most active conversations! Really hope it stays jokey........

Jane that's a brilliant thing to do for Zoe, I hope you raise lots of money.

reastie · 31/07/2011 19:10

proper catch up later but 2 things to say

ponyo - you have a tatooist? - please expand Grin

needto that thread of yours had better not make it to dotd - I am v proud of my dotd crown here Wink Grin Grin v good thread tho

NeedToSleepZZZ · 31/07/2011 19:18

Grin reastie, I think there's more chance of it being deleted if it turns sour. You'll always have your crown Wink

ledkr · 31/07/2011 19:47

ah yes byron,we could defo meet up for fish and chips on the beach if you like,be so cute to see the babies together.

I may go and wind things up a bit on the thread cos im feeling naughty

40Weeks · 31/07/2011 19:57

Evening ladies

Hope all the babies are settling well for you, fingers crossed Alice keeps it up reastie

Started M on the baby rice yesterday although I will challenge anyone of you for worst parent award as I gave him an empty ice cream cone to eat! He was wailing with his fist in his mouth and in the absence of anything more sensible, I gave him that. He loved it and sobbed when it was over.

Gl with the thread needto I rarely venture over to the dark side if aibu after being flayed alive back in April. And yes it was me at the gym, til 38 weeks. Still go to spin but only once a week and my tummy is exceptionally wobbly so what was the point in that!?!

Got a big bar of cadbury's caramel to console myself with...the cricket it on.

Good on ya Jane 5 times, holy cow you are putting us to shame! Even ledkr!

He is rolling both ways and is now on 3 meals a day and only been weaning for 4 weeks and is still enjoying his breastmilk.Ive been trying to wean him off me but it doesnt seem to be working. He now weighs 16lb. Are any of you ladies on facebook?xx

janedoe25 · 31/07/2011 20:19

Got to fit it in girls before he is away work again during the week ( Blush just read that back an dits filled with inuendo!) Grin

Hi cler wow 7 months already!

Emski76 · 31/07/2011 20:22

First of all, 5 times since Friday, Jane?! Bloody hell, you go for it girl! Fingers crossed fir you!
Ledkr, I'd forgotten about the massive wayside, must get some for Noah. I'll look at the haven website Ledkr.
Just gonna go to the next page then talk some more

Emski76 · 31/07/2011 20:24

Ponyo, tattoist? Do tell!
Need to, am gonna pop over to AIBU to find you thread.
Cler, I'm on facebook, bit of an addict! The only websites I look at are mumsnet, fb and BBC news!

wigglesrock · 31/07/2011 20:24

Hello, lovely to hear from you cler, Anna is doing really well, she's 24 weeks and weighs 17lb10oz and eating anything in sight Grin

We had a quiet day here, up at my Mums, girls are knackered after their busy week, Olivia actually fell asleep on my dads knee today, she hasn't done that in years and Anna has been an eating machine Shock She practically ate her body weight (no mean feat) in creamed potatoes!

Grin at the thread NeedTo I lurk in AIBU all the time but rarely post, too chicken Grin, lurking in Education is my favourite, I'm amazed by peoples obsession with reading bands.

jane 5 times, 5 times, fuck away off, oh wait you've done that already Grin

janedoe25 · 31/07/2011 21:13

Grin at wiggles

Im on FB too, have a bit on a addiction Blush

ledkr · 31/07/2011 21:13

wiggles wtf do you feed Anna?
40 tsk tsk tsk did you really think you could out do me? Dd has mushed up many a cornet,if i buy Els and ice cream i always ask for an empty cone for the baby and then blob a bit of Els ice cream on it.

wigglesrock · 31/07/2011 21:25

ledkr I know, and she is light for length according to HV on Monday, I was like seriously Grin Her height and head is on 95 percentile but her weight has just crossed into 75th. I have had to put her in 6-9 month trousers and they are falling off her waist. Our poke man (thats ice-cream man to you, get your mind out of the gutter Grin started to charge for empty cones - lets just say he was nearly run out of town by angry parents and even angrier babies Grin

Can't remember who on the thread had a Jared Leto thing? - Jane were you a guilty party? There's 2 four day festivals in Belfast and his band is playing. My sisters' bar holds the VIP parties and provides the copious amounts of drink food, I promise to send you a photo of when we meet!! Na na na na na Grin

janedoe25 · 31/07/2011 21:32

wiggles i am so Envy! I have booked my flight and will be camping outside the whig! Might have to give DF another go now and i will be thinking of Mr Leto Grin

wigglesrock · 31/07/2011 21:43

jane she's not in the Whig anymore, she's in McHughs. She's had to field about 100 telephone calls from her Head Office asking for people to be snuck in Grin. She's really clueless about music, she keeps getting offers for tickets, passes for concerts and just "couldn't be arsed", however she could be arsed when she scored a Chloe bag Envy, which my Mum asked could she borrow for a "dinner dance" it was vvv funny. Good luck to your DF - he may need it Grin

reastie · 31/07/2011 21:59

wiggles will defo need photos of you and mr leto Grin . These freebies are wasted on your sister - I think she should share them around us me Grin

Have loaded a few more piccies onto profile

I'm having alice weighed tomorrow so will report and compare

cler good to hear from you and glad corey is doing well

wiggles I once got shouted at by irate parents from the education threads for daring to say something of the nature that ime I preferred a nice thoughtfully written card than chocolate or wine

Alice still awake so clearly last night a fluke Confused she keeps hissing and shrieking at me Shock

jane again?!! [respect] DF won't be able to keep up Wink

wigglesrock · 31/07/2011 22:15

reastie Pics are gorgeous, see Alice has kept her beautiful blue eyes, so has Anna, they're really striking especially since S&O have such dark brown eyes. Some of the posters on the Education thread are vv scary and that's saying something considering I frequent the breastfeeding/bottle feeding topic Grin.

ledkr · 01/08/2011 07:09

reastie Alice looks as if she is emerging from a flower in that pic she looks like you too.
wiggles i just cant go on the bf threads,i get so annoyed, some of the regulsre bf millitants have been banging on for years so either have a hundred kids or are bf 9yr olds. I asked them once what they were going to dop when they were no longer bf as they seem to be only able to talk about that one subject, and i am very naughty too and wait until i get accused of being selfish or a failed breast feeder and then play my trump card "actually i have had a mastectomy Grin then i sit back and watch them squirm hehehe.
My ridiculous baby was awake at 5.15,not sure why,i am hoping she isnt going to go thru another phase of this during the school hols,am already wondering how ill get thru the day with them both.
Had agood idea for holiday activity,Ella is cooking dinner tomorrow we are going to shop for it and prep and cook it she is going to be the waiter and write menus etc,i thought it would be fun for her.

reastie · 01/08/2011 07:48

well, I'm going to stand up for the bfeeding militants regulars as they have always been really helpful to me when I've had alot of problems with bfing - i don't think I'd still be bfing if it wasn't for their advice Grin . But I don't frequent the forum often enough to make any more useful comments, I did bump into eaurouge there a while age and she is fine. I always remember when pg the nipple cupcakes she made for some kind of bfing meeting thing she went to Grin

ledkr you are naughty stirring things so much Wink btw fab idea for ella doing dinner with menu - I remember doing that when I was tounger and loved spending hours making the menu beautiful and writing 'reasties restaurant' and 'tips wanted gratefully received' and such like on it Wink

wiggles do you know at what point their eyes change if they are going to? DH and I both have green/grey/blue eyes and we wonder if hers will change or if they will stay blue

ledkr · 01/08/2011 08:39

i aggree they must be helpfull but so obsessed illustrated by the nipple cup cakes, its the self riteousness and cruelness i object to,telling people who ff they are harming their baby,i posted for ff advice cos had prev bf and was told ff was poisoning my baby Angry
I think the eyes will have changed by now, dilly hung onto her blues until about 5 months they are now boring brown hazel tsk. She is stil very ginger or genjay as i like to say.Eyebrows the lot Shock we dont have a milk man and our postman is gay btw.

reastie · 01/08/2011 08:50

Grin to the milkman comment ledkr . Well, alice is 5 months so there's still time for the eyes to change then. Love the hazel eyes though - am Envy of dilly. My sister got brown eyes and I just got greeny grey - she got all the best genes I always say Wink . Well, I was Shock at the ff poisoning comment - definitely not good. It's one thing to be helpful and offer lots of bfing advice but another to slate women ffing Confused . I know they made alot of Hmm remarks about alice having one ff bottle a day when dh was giving her the night feed and saying this would mess up bfing/alice would start rejecting bfing and gradually have more ff, but, so far that's not been the case at all and we have dropped the ff. I take the comments I don't like with a pinch of salt Wink but then I've never had such a Shock comment as you.

wigglesrock · 01/08/2011 08:56

reastie I think Alices eyes will probably stay the same, Anna is 5.5 months and am assuming hers will stay, although they'll probably change tonight as she's that contrary Grin

ledkr lovely idea for Ella, I didn't have a great night here either, A was up a few times and then up from about 5.15am, her mouth feels really hot Hmm

NeedToSleepZZZ · 01/08/2011 09:05

Naughty ledkr ( but would like to see their responses Wink).
can I reserve a table at chez reastie please?

Morning everyone,
Now, everyone with wobbly bits, how would you feel about a sponsored shred marathon or something similar to raise money in Zoe's name for SANDS? Have spoken to Jane and she is up for it so if you feel you'd like to or can then let's work something out Smile

Off to the park today with the mums from my pnd group, they're great and so supportive whilst being able to have a laugh. It's great being able to be honest in rl and not just on hereGrin

ledkr · 01/08/2011 09:20

can i just point out for anyone who doesnt know,i have had a mastectomy, would never lie abou something so bad.

wiggles Dilly has no sign of teeth but keeps gurning so i dont know, she's all grumpy again today too but just tired i think.

She just did something really sweet,i was carrying her and said "kiss?" and made akissing noise, she leaned towards me with her lips pursed god i could eat her sometimes Grin

I think the 30 day shred challenge is the best idea,dh says he will sponsor me a pound a day,it will motivate us and get us trim. Can we please wait until its cooler tho,i havent worn make up for weeks her as the humidity is so high.
