Here you go ledkr Wine Wine DP is away at some boring wedding so i'm all alone Wine ?!
Were you working on the West case then? Interesting (I know you like horror films too!)
reastie gl for tonight, we had a random early night too - asleep before 8, little moan and a feed and asleep now since 9.... will let you know how it went. Also, as I'm watching Luther finally, the character of Alice is played by an actress named Ruth, and my sister is Alice and my mum is Ruth! Coinkidinky!
All afternoon at the Mall again - I'm so looking forward to coming home for nearly all of August :o although what's this I hear of a heatwave? Hope I jinx it for all of you - I'm dreaming of mist and drizzle and maybe some nice howling wind.
Good nights all

NeedToSleepZZZ · 31/07/2011 05:56

Morning all,

How could you not like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=Dominic+west&um=1&hl=en&client=safari&sa=N&tbm=isch&tbnid=OQJmaC_4tFTFxM:&imgrefurl=www.guardian.co.uk/extra/2011/may/31/butley&docid=Qyg9iavYii5eVM&w=460&h=276&ei=bNw0TvSdH9K18QPp_MmhDg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=415&vpy=2993&dur=4805&hovh=174&hovw=290&tx=202&ty=238&page=7&tbnh=137&tbnw=181&start=88&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:7,s:88&biw=981&bih=632" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this? Wink I don't care, he's all mine, mine I tell you! I'm looking forward to the Fred West program, if you can look forward to something like that. ledkr did you work on that case? Confidentiality I know, but???

Generation Kill looks pretty amazing and now that we have our rooms back it's safe to watch in bed Grin it has Toby, the main character from Oz, in it.

Hello there deb, good to hear from you and Shock at all the food S is getting through, you must have made some yummy stuff, can you let me know what you've been giving her please? Really hope she lets you sleep and soon!

We're off swimming in a while, been about 4 times now and it's really quiet first thing on a Sunday so best time to go. Good for B but also limits the number of people that see me in a swimsuit, keep saying it took 9 months to come on so 9 months to lose but not feeling great about my stomach or bum, hips and thighs

Thanks for all the half birthday wishes, I didn't eat half a cake but think I ate my own weight in bread yesterday Blush. will write later and fingers crossed for no hangovers out there!

reastie really hope A is still sleeping and she's finally cracked it.

Emski76 · 31/07/2011 07:03

Haha at dh playing on the fire engine, altho he did try on a fire mans helmet and I suddenly had images of him in full fireman uniform, yum.
Does anyone know when the Fred West film will be on? Ive read a crime book about him, was very interesting, upsetting too reading about what he did to those poor girls.
Did you work on the case Ledkr?

MizK · 31/07/2011 08:39

Morning Feb ladies! Just been catching up, backwards as ever....
Congrats on all of you who have moved the sprogs into their own rooms, reading in bed seems like an impossible dream, not to mention having sex with the light on! Actually considering the level of success I'm having with Shred and weight watchers perhaps that's a mercy!
ponyo and ledkr laughing at alcohol loving babies.... DPs family are buggers for giving children alcohol so I am stubbornly resisting DD having even a sniff til she's 18....
needto glad you had a nice birthday.
Am watching may the best house win at the min, judgey pants firmly in place. Is it me or do mainly utter twunts apply for these shows, ie come dine with me, coach trip etc?
What are we all up to today? Hope sun is out for everyone, Nottingham is looking OK at the min so fingers crossed for sunshine later.

ledkr · 31/07/2011 09:28

reality tv is especially for twunts mizk Grin

The wests had many children and many younger ones and i worked in child care iyswim.i have also encountered the older children and theirs too which says it all Sad all very lovely but unsurprisingly with issues,i have utmost respect for them all to be even able to carry on living tbh.

I think the Fred West film wont make it to screens cos of poor taste,i cant believe that tho cos they have made many other films about horrible things.

byron sorry i missed out on a session with you last night,i went to bed and whats this about you trying to jynx our nice weather eh? You come in Nov if you want the mist this is my first yr for about 20 that im not going abroad for some sun and its killin me Grin am praying this nice weather continues.

needto im with you on the belly, its the first time in my life i had to buy a one piece,i was doing ww but so hard in the scholl hols with picnics and holidays, ive put the few pounds i lost back on really,i keep going to shred but its a bit hot for jumping jacks imho.

deb i cant believe how much s is eating, she will soon put on some weight,Dilly stil only manages about quarter of a jar or a third of a nana but its stil progress, she likes the finger foods tho ponyo is there any change in your weaning atempts?

Had a good night here apart from stupid dh who kept talking when i was trying to sleep,he woke me up itching his ear vigorously too,i told him to sleep in the spare room if he couldnt be quiet Grin

Emski76 · 31/07/2011 10:34

I'm with you Need to and Ledkr with the belly thing. Mine is huge, I swear I look about 5 months pregnant. it looks as if my tummy muscles have given up!!
Have put up pic of Ben on climbing wall and of Noah asleep this morning. Both babies slept until 7.30!! Of course I was awake at 6.30!! I had to wake Noah, so took the opportunity to take some pics of him asleep!! IT must have been all that country air yesterday. Dh has been given strict instructions to keep Noah in the garden at the in laws all day today!
Am off for a run now, then shopping. Will try not to buy any crap food but find ing it very hard at the moment.
Have good days all

ledkr · 31/07/2011 11:58

ah sweet pics em,he still looks tiny when asleep, good idea with sleeping pics,i had asudden though about no pics of dilly in her moses basket so took some but she just looks jumbo in it now haha.
Glad its not just me with the tummy,i never had a big tum after 4 dc's so im not sure whats happened.
Im quite lazy these days tho,ive been watching movies all morning in my pjs,i need to get out and exercise more,im so reluctant to shred tho i just feel so tired and hot all the time Grin roll on winter so i can re start shredding.
Have been looking at holidays and was tempted by france but then realised baby has no passport so thats that out the window and im not spending 100 quid to fast track it.
Weymouth it is then.

Emski76 · 31/07/2011 12:12

Where do you stay in Weymouth Ledkr? Ive been perusing a holiday for my clan but not sure where to go

janedoe25 · 31/07/2011 12:36

Morning all, too much for me to reply to everyone but i have read!

We had some friends over last night for df birthday, it was ok, i only had 2 ciders so was sober. I found it quite hard watching the drunken mean slosh drinks all over my floor! One of our frienda was steaming drunk and he kept telling me to get drunk to forget everything Confused

reastie is Alices christening today? If so i hope you all have a fab day x

Im having a lazy day here, well once i clean up the aftermath of last night! Hope everyone has a nice day Smile

ILovePonyo · 31/07/2011 13:24

Hey all, just a quick one from me as dd is waking up - yesterday dp had A from about 11am til I got home at 4.30pm ish, I met my friend in town, had some food and a catch up, was very lovely. Anyway dd has been a bit whingy last few days, and when I got home dp was so relieved he sprang up from the settee and hugged me saying "I'm so glad you're home" Grin
Think he has finally realised how hard it can be looking after a little one all day! He's lucky too, I'd made up bottles for him in advance and he hadn't done any clearing up either (not surprising).
So felt v appreciated yesterday evening, he was v sweet later on though, as A had been grumpy all day he got her to fall asleep on his chest as he wanted a cuddle with her as he felt that she didn't like him, aww Grin

ledkr did just laugh as your dh scratching his ear and being annoying, funny. Am going to wait for my Annabel Karmel book to arrive before I do anymore weaning, am still just giving her random food on a spoon from those pouches.

emski lovely photos :)

Right got to go and feed madam, back later xx

reastie · 31/07/2011 16:20

bad parents award today goes to dh and I - dh accidently knocked alice on the head earlier on the car door and I just banged her head in the same place on the side of the laptop as she rolled her head around onto where I left the laptop Shock . She REALLY screamed both times and has a red lump where dh knocked her - hope shes ok Hmm .

I'm sure Hmm you're all waiting with baited breath how alice slept last night? she went from 7 - 6:30 with a feed at 9:30 and then after her morning feed went down for another hour or so Grin - best night in ages shame i had insomnia

jane christening is in 3 weeks time

ponyo glad yur dh finally realises how hard it is

yes my tummy wobbly to the max too - I could have ledkrs christmans mn nn and it would sadly be true

ems love the piccies

needto hope you enjoyed the swimming

gtg alice is paying me back for the bad parenting by screaming Confused

knittakid · 31/07/2011 16:21

needto can I just say that my cat is called McNulty? seriously. And thanks for that link with the photo, just made me smile for the first time today.
Not been having a good day here, house is a mess and ds very needy, perhaps he's not too well (he ate a blackberry Shock) that i gave him he somehow picked up, and his poos have been more often and green...Sad on top of that I managed to ofend dh not just once but in every conversation that we've had today so better not talk to him.

jane didn't know you were ttc, well done, really really good luck. I tried for 8 months, and got preg the day I went to ann summers Wink.

I also have a huge belly still! when will it go away????

needto did you take swimming lessons with him before?

damm, just sneezed and had p asleep in the sling and he's woken up. bye!!

reastie · 31/07/2011 16:21

forgot to say jane hope you've managed to clear up after the party. Was the weather good enough for outside at all? sounds like you had an......intersting time. Did DF enjoy himself?

reastie · 31/07/2011 16:24

xposted YEAH for knitta Grin Grin . Love the ann summers story - now, just so we all know and jane can benefit from the fertilities of ann summers - is it sufficient to just go in the shop or do you have to buy something saucy ? Wink Grin . I'm not suprised P not that good if he ate a blackberry mobile phone Grin Wink

chocoroo · 31/07/2011 16:43

Bit hectic here (have mum here to babysit R tonight) but have a couple of things to add:

  1. I just found out McNulty is in Othello in Sheffield this autumn. I'm from nearby so will be dumping R at mums and heading to swoon!

  2. Have to go to another wedding this eve (hence mum babysitting). DP has been at test match all day and I have spent my spare time while mum took R out ironing his frigging shirt! Not painting my nails or doing my hair. Ironing.

  3. Yes Yes to huge belly. Have got hold em in pants for wedding this eve!

  4. I'd anyone else scared of BLW? I gave R some toast on Fri and ricecake yesterday and ended up fishing both out of her mouth. I'm
    So scared. Any hints?

Emski76 · 31/07/2011 17:40

Choc, the few times ive given Noah finger food he has gagged. I think most finger food packets have 7/8 months plus on them. Noah is good at sucking but not so good at chewing!
Enjoy the wedding tonight, you are a social butterfly!
Ive enjoyed my day to myself. Running this morning then shopping. Ended up popping into next as friend wanted sone work trousers and got myself jeans and top, then went to Tesco. Friend promised me he wouldn't let me buy any naughty food, I still spent over £100 though. Will not be showing dh credit card bil, this month!
Reastie, hooray for Alice, and you and dh of course! Ouch to bumps on head. Noah has cracked his head a few times rolling around the room, once on the radiator and once on the skirting board. He really must start looking where he's rolling!

janedoe25 · 31/07/2011 17:54

reastie no idea why i thought christening was today Confused Df had a great time last night, and it was sunny so we were in the graden until 12am! Not much to clean up, i was cleaning in short bursts last night.

Im sure A's head is fine, she was probably screaming to make you both feel guilty!

Thanks for the tip knitta i may pay anne summers a visit, possibly tmi but we dtd 5 times since friday evening!

We are going to a Zumba class on tues, our friends sis is taking the class and donating the proceeds to SANDS in Zoe's name. All of our friends are going (men included) so should be a good laugh!

emski i have my own special hidey hole for cc bills Wink

ponyo Grin at your DP.

janedoe25 · 31/07/2011 17:56

Oh i have a super wobbly tummy too! Back on the diet big time, my jeans are getting too tight! reastie what was ledkr's chrstmas nn? I can't remember that far back.

PussInConverse · 31/07/2011 17:57

ooh speedy thread, marking place!
I also have big old belly. Glad it's not just me!

reastie · 31/07/2011 18:07

jane it was something along the lines of ledkrsbellyisasbigassantas

reastie · 31/07/2011 18:09

oh and Grin to dtd so much - I'm suprised you can still walk Wink Shock Grin

NeedToSleepZZZ · 31/07/2011 18:16

Jane that's what I was going to ask reastie! Memory like a sieve plus we talk soooo much on here!. glad you had good weather for the BBQ but I sympathise with the drunken man telling you what to do, my uncle's a bit like that. Sounds like a trip to Ann summers is in order Wink

chocoroo can't believe you're going to see Mcnulty so Envy and Grin at knitta's cat! My old cat was called Buckley after jeff but then discovered that she was a girl, still suited her though.

I've stopped weaning for a few days and will try again midweek. Is that bad? Are we meant to persevere?

knitta I didn't take B to lessons but OH has dunked him a few times now (I'm too scared) and he loves it. He just sort of wants to swim and makes all the right movements naturally iyswim. I really recommend the things you put over their swimsuits to keep them warmer for longer, they sell them in sainsburys but bit pricey so got a couple in their sale.

emski you are starting to inspire me to shift my bum after reading about your running. Although I never run I think I need to do something! Who was it on the ante natal thread that was still at the gym at about 35 weeks? Was it you 40?

reastie don't feel bad about A's head, they're hard things as I have discovered through being head butted countless times by B Grin. brilliant news about her sleep though, now to get you sleeping through too!

I have started a thread on AIBU, how brave is that? It's only a jokey thing but still feeling bit Confused as to the responses....

ledkr · 31/07/2011 18:23

hi all.
jane i usede to sell anne summers but then i doubt anyone is surprised by that Grin nn was ledkrs belly is like santas. Gosh thats a good effort jane, can you walk love?

I am just cooking roast and am making dilly one at the same time yum yum,she has been out of sorts today, wont sleep much and has red eye and the winges.I wish they would just cuddle up when ill but not her she is still wiggling and straining to get down. Seems better for some calpol.

ponyo try those organics massive baby wotsits and rice cakes, they really helped Delilah get used to eating, they melt in the mouth like prawn crackers.
We are hoping to go to "seaview" its a haven site,we went last weekend and loved it,its quiet with a really warm outdoor pool, very friendly staff and fun for the kids at night,we really enjoyed it and were incredibly relaxed. You can use the bigger site next door which is too busy for me but the pool is fab with a lazy river, indoor and outdoor warm pools and proper wicker sunbeds with cushions. We are hoping to go anytime from the 12 to 28th as that is dh annual leave, are you going around then? we could have a little mn meetup in the disco-agadoo doo doo push pinapples etc etc Grin

reastie i forgot to confess that Dilly fell off the sofa in the caravan last weekend, she fell onto her head and i flicked Ella with the teatowel i was holding for not looking after her Blush i was upset and shocked but dh told me off as Ella is only 9, Dilly cried for a bit but seemed ok,i think its unusual to get to a year old with out a bump on the bonce tbh, toughens them up haha

ILovePonyo · 31/07/2011 18:25

I'm back and joining the wobbly tummy club too, then again its not like it was all flat and toned pre-baby Grin

jane I am Shock at you having dtd 5 times since fri, well actually more impressed than shocked to be honest! No need for Ann Summers in your house Wink Was your hammered friend thinking they were giving good, insightful advice but actually just being drunk? Still sounds like a good party anyway.
Oh and my friend does zumba and said its really good (and knackering), hope you raise lots of money.

choco you must have missed my post where dp and I did exactly the same as you, gave dd some toast, she gagged on a big bit so we fished it out and she cried. Think she really liked it too, but we're holding off giving her anymore for a little while longer. Although from my mn searches it seems gagging is v normal, if its choking they apparently don't make any sound and can't breathe (scary) whereas gagging they can still breathe.

reastie I was passing A's plastic cup to her to chew on but accidently threw it and it hit her head Blush I don't know how I managed to do that but felt so bad afterwards, she's also bumped her head on the fireplace and my knee Blush and always screams so loudly when she does it. Am really pleased for A's sleep last night for you - you deserve it! Grin

Hi knitta, dd's poos have gone some very interesting shades since she's been having her baby mush of fruit and veg Grin Hope you're day has got better.

ledkr meant to say interesting about the wests. I agree about the film, pretty grim, I wonder how/if they got the family to agree to it?

MizK I have photos of me as a baby with my grandad sucking at the froth on his pint Grin Hmm but won't be making a habit of it obv! My tattooist has applied to go on come dine with me and think she has been accepted, if she's on it I'll let you all know! (she's the exception in that she's not a twunt but I imagine they could easily edit it to make her look like one Grin)

Right its bath time for dd soon and shes asleep Confused hope she drops off ok later naughty baby xx

ledkr · 31/07/2011 18:28

needto you are brave, even im scared of aibu,im off to have a look. i had a break from weaning too, much better when tried again and try the baby watsits.

jane yeah just have a drink and forget you lopst your baby daughter whats wrong with you? Confused if only it was that easy mate, idiot male.
