janedoe25 · 25/06/2011 20:32

Yes wiggles that would be weird Grin

I was at my friends little ones 2nd birthday party today, i was fine and actually quite enjoyed myself! I feel i have turned a corner, i was playing with the babies and toddlers and was fine!

wigglesrock · 25/06/2011 20:32

reastie Yes, that's her, she decided to start trying right away, I think she was worried about waiting because of her age and the fact that it took me so long to conceive Sofia. She's not one of lifes copers Grin, so far we've had two major meltdowns because she didn't know what a travel system was, apparently somehow that ended up being something that may have been my fault Hmm As my dad mutters in private "its going to be a long seven months!!!" Grin Grin Grin Hope the headache clears.

debka · 25/06/2011 21:00

Am in bedroom in a huff with laptop cos DH is playing annoying music and I want blessed silence. Angry can still hear it Angry

Oooh the pox, I remember having spots down my throat Sad

S had a raspberry this evening and some cheesecake o the face on her, so funny!!

ledkr good to hear you sounding your own drunken self again Grin, hope you have a nice evening.

Oh he's stopped it now- do I relent and go back in or stay in here with you lot? hmmmmmm

janedoe25 · 25/06/2011 21:04

debka no conteset! I left DF at my friends house, the menfolk were all getting pissed merry so i left him to it!

ledkr · 26/06/2011 06:55

Deb what music was it?Dh is currently having a madness phase, which i quite like,it reminds me of my mispent youth Grin buy him an i pod fgs.
I had no peace cos Ella had a sleep over, they were good actually but Justin Beeber was the soundtrack of the night,it took the edge of Luther i can tell you.Had a lush evening my prob is defo hormones,i feel fab at the mo but by next Friday ill be awfull.(mid cycle) Dh spent the day berating himself for getting so pissed now hes a parent, pfb syndrome or what.
Dilly is still favouring a 5.30 wakw up grrrrr, going to have to do the light exposure today,i am also going to put her to bed even earlier as if im going to be up at the crack of dawn i may as well have a peacefull evening. She is led on my bedroom floor watching c beebies,i am hoping to go back to sleep when she does,i just peeped at her and she cracked up laughing.
Dh has gone to Essex to see his bro as it was his birthday party yesterday and he couldnt make it due to his massive hangover, hes so nice and it makes me a bit Angry that hes missing out on a day with us to do it as bil has never even bothered coming down to see us even when we had D,it seems that its always up to us to go there even tho we have the baby.
going to make a nice roast and have dil and gs up.

ledkr · 26/06/2011 07:58

why are babies sooooooo annoying? Every morning after her early start D goes back to sleep for about 2-3 hrs,so today as its sunday and for the
first time EVER i snuggle back into bed,so yes you've guessed it,she slept for about 20 sodding minutes grrrrrr, its like a bloody sit com here. And you lot are probably all still sleeping too,

chocoroo · 26/06/2011 08:11

I'm not sleeping! Another wide awake baby here...she's gonna get a shock as she's coming to Manchester with me and there's nowt to do in car but sleep...

And if she wakes and screams? I'll just turn music up!

Glad the hangover is done led. My DP beats himself up when he gets them. I say as long as you have a good time then it's probably ok!

Who was it that said they'd met a Gollum baby? My bf just had her 2nd and she's really rather Gollum like too...

debka · 26/06/2011 09:52

Morning all, we all got a lie-in till 7.16 when DH did 2 really really loud sneezes and woke everyone up- he then went for a wee and then back to bed whilst I saw to the girls Hmm. When I asked him about it later he didn't even remember the sneezes?!

Don't know what the music was led, it sounds weird but I don't actually like music much, unless I choose to listen to it. I much prefer quiet. He then moved on to Glastonbury on the telly.

Much sympathy with annoying non-sleeping baby ledkr

choc she'll sleep all the way I'm sure!

ledkr · 26/06/2011 10:07

im not sure whats worse deb, early waking or non sleeping,i cant moan really tho,she sleeps thru from 7.30,just likes an early start Shock
just blowing up massive pool with my mouth,am very light headed.

janedoe25 · 26/06/2011 11:20

Morning all, ledkr i am so Envy of the pool, im assuming it is lovely and sunny? Yet another day of rain here in Glasgow Angry

We are not doing anything today, i am already an xbox widow, df got out of bed and turned the bloody thing on grr. We were supposedto be gooing to his mums for dinner, but just had a call that his gran had a fall during the night and is in hospital, hope she is ok.

chocco hope the drive to Manchester is a good one and you have a good day.

debka · 26/06/2011 13:33

ledkr I know i'd rather have a night feed and a later start in the morning, you can't make these bloody babies do what they don't want to do though. Sun's just come out here (lots of sea fog), might take the girls in my mum's swimming pool this afternoon, thanks for the idea led :)

jane Angry at DF and rain- can you take advantage of the day at home with some SWIing?? Grin

janedoe25 · 26/06/2011 13:48

erm debka that might be a wee bit messy if you catch my drift! Envy at your mums swimming pool!

americanexpat · 26/06/2011 13:52

I was feeling quite pleased yesterday as we'd followed ledkr's lead and moved L's bedtime a bit later so he'd sleep later in the morning. He slept until nearly 8 yesterday but was awake at 6 this morning as usual. Angry Tried to settle him back to sleep for an hour then DH got up with him. He's sleeping in the swing now, put him at the highest speed because he was fussy so he's swinging at approx 30mph. Grin

ledkr - a sleepover when hungover?! You have my utmost respect. Grin DH and I can't even get through a bottle of wine now, both feel really rough if we do.

jane - can't fault you for thinking it, at least you didn't say it! I've seen some really ugly babies but wouldn't never say anything except how gorgeous they are.

44me - I think if my baby was ill and I couldn't give him/her my own milk, I'd be very thankful for donated milk as long as the donor was appropriately screened.

debka - DH has woken L with sneezing too. Angry I can't believe you let him to back to bed - you're much nicer than I am!

ledkr · 26/06/2011 17:34

Gosh,d had suffered in the heat,it was 29 here at one point, have had a lovely day with friends and the kids been in the pool the whole time.D went in the pool for ages and is a bit die hard in it,getting splashed by all the kids but then seemed to be feeling sick and wouldnt settle for ages, she is sleeping now so god knows what time bedtime will be,i give up Grin

wigglesrock · 26/06/2011 19:10

Had lovely day today, wasn't that warm here and for the first time since I've been back no rain. Headed up to my mums and Anna had a great time, we brought her baby gym out and laid it in the garden, she giggled solidly for about 1 hour, she's now asleep and the other two aren't far behind her. Olivia finishes playgroup tomorrow and Sofia finishes school on Thursday, roll on the summer holidays, am really looking forward to spending them together.

ledkr Your thread on "giving the bride away" is v busy, you'll be rivalling reasties' dotd crown soon Grin

chocoroo how did the dress fitting go?

reastie · 26/06/2011 19:27

someone else on this thread stealing my coveted dotd crown Shock Hmm Grin

not been on as computer is driving me mad. keeps giving up mid post so no idea if this will send. I want a new laptop but stingy dh things we should get this one fixed or just share his Shock . He's being boring sensible and saying we can spend the money on new drains/pipes/something else equally dull.

hot hot hot here - too hot. not looking forward to it being hotter tomorrow - since I'm so obese chubby it affects me much more and I get so sweaty Confused have put alice to sleep with a fan next to her cot and just a vest Hmm

PIL over today - lots of stories I won't bore you with Wink

janedoe25 · 26/06/2011 19:35

So jelous of you all having sunshine! Glad you all had a lovely day.

reastie go on spill your inlaw woes!

We had mil over for sunday dinner and i have to say i am proud! I made an edible meal and it was yummy Grin

debka · 26/06/2011 19:42

Glorious glorious day here today. Spent ages in the pool this afternoon- with Imy then she went in to watch beebies and I did some lengths by MYSELF twas heaven. Both girls in bed knackered Grin

jane yes I get your drift Grin Blush I'll remind you again in a week and a half Grin

ledkr I put Sabine's feet in the pool and she just cried- she's a wimp like her daddy- TBF it was cold but Imy and I didn't mind.

debka · 26/06/2011 19:43

jane what did you make?

Emski76 · 26/06/2011 19:45

Hot, hot, hot here! Too bloody hot! Poor Noah has gone to bed in just a body suit, he even has a heat rash.
We've had a fab weekend. For once we been together as a family all weekend. We went to a local farm and soft play centre yesterday and today we had friends over and dh made a Sunday roast, yes dh made it!
Reastie, tell us all about your day with the in laws. We love in law stories!
Be proud of me ladies, I did the shred again this morning. It was so hot, I was sweating like a good un!

ledkr · 26/06/2011 20:01

Em never moan about the sunshine,i was born in the wrong country,i am only truly happy when its hot,i've been all chilled and relaxed today the kids are still in the garden im in my bikini and flip flops its lush,d ended up sleeping untill 7.15 so god know whats in store for tonight but i was so worried about her i had to go with it,she will come up when we do i expect.Cant always have a strict routine esp when hot.
debi think D will be a water baby like the others, its weird cos if im stressed i go swimming or straight to the bath for hours. Dh not back yet,i wonder what he will think when he sees we are all still outside.
Im impressed with the shredding in this heat tho,i have just counted my ww points for the day and i got 41,im allowed 29 so i guess thats not a good day then Grin

wigglesrock · 26/06/2011 20:30

ledkr you do realise that any food eaten off anyone elses plate doesn't count and if you eat standing up those points don't count either, we'll get you to 29 points yet Grin. Apologies if I've missed it but is it your sister who's pregnant? I was surprised at how well Anna took to the water on holiday, both of the other girls love the water so think we have a water baby too.

40Weeks how the pox? Has it spread yet?

reastie spill the bizz on the pils. I was very licky today, I took girls to pils without Mr W, that's another point on my martyr chart Grin

wigglesrock · 26/06/2011 20:44

Mr W has just come in from work, he found a 5 year old boy wandering down a main, really busy road, actually on the road, trying to get to his dads house. His mum had let him out to play and he had wandered off, she hadn't even noticed he wasn't about. He must have been gone about 3 hours, she then had the nerve to shout at how it was a disgrace he had been brought home in a marked police car Angry Sorry not like me to rant about Mr Ws job but am so upset about it.

reastie · 26/06/2011 21:05

Shock wiggles re: mr w lost boy story - utterly terrible

PIL wise - just lots of 'silent' digs my way like when she saw A and I she was v gentle and laid back (most unusual) and then made a point of saying TWICE she was holding back on purpose as 'at this age she starts getting wary of people she doesn't regosnise well' (read between the lines: I don't see her enough'). She also makes me feel ridiculously silly for asking her to wash hands before taking alice Confused - I know I am fussy in this way but that's my perogative Grin . Other things are a bit time consuming to explain as involve past issues, sorry to dissapoint Wink

Had a terrible headache last night and ended out havign to leave dh in charge for the evening and go to bed. alice chose that night to get over tired and scream the house down for (no exageration) hours. DH ended out having to take her for a walk at 11 pm as was the only thing that helped Shock

ledkr glad the hangover seems to have gone at last

em brownie points for the shredding

jane well done for the edible meal Grin

janedoe25 · 26/06/2011 21:55

debka i made a sunday roast of gammon, loads of veg and slimming world roast pots. Pudding was an eton mess with Fat free vanilla yoghurt instead of cream, it was delish! All this from me who burns toast and boiling water!

wiggles that is shocking about the little boy, cant believe some parents though Angry

ledkr sounds like you had a lovely day, hope dilly sleeps well tonight for you.

reastie "silent" digs are so crap, i hate it when people are passive aggressive. Hope Alice settles well tonight.
