stac you can mix in a little cows milk with formula to get her used to it gradually - start by making up three quarters normal amount formula then top it up with milk - then move onto 50/50 formula/milk - so you gradually go to all milk. That's what we used to do at work.

I don't think it's too early to start mixing some in, G won't have formula and won't bf so she's only have cow's milk (and tiny amounts of that, hence her having loads of solid food constantly!)

Hello ladies!

Wow what a day! Im MARRIEDDD! I wasnt nervous at all, I got the giggles! Dylan got quite moany in the evening but we stayed up til 11pm.

There are LOADS of photos to sort out, Im sure they'll go up on fb whilst im on hol. It was a really great day though, I enjoyed every min of it. We're jetting off to spain later so I wont be on here for a week.

Ill try and check back in later today to answer any questions or reply to anyone!

:) dh great that you had such a lovely day, hope you have a fantastic holiday together!

Alright stac I'll let you off Wink L swapped straight from bf to formula and then 3 weeks later straight to cow's milk. I didn't realise you had to ease them into it Confused

viksam yay for the scan going well! Hopefully you can put your mind at ease and start looking forward to D's younger sibling coming along :)

wss it's irritating how much we worry isn't it? My constant agonizing is over S's calcium intake or complete lack thereof... Don't share all your birthday chocolates!

I think I could wear a bikini if I lost a stone and a half and toned up, I'm chubby and saggy but I just don't have the willpower at the moment. I've got stretchmarks from S that are just vile but hey ho, DH finds me sexy! I reckon that stretchmarks are something you just can't do anything about so if I work to get a decent body I'm not going to worry about those!

I've been wondering how to crochet clouds all night [obsessed]

mlic hope you have a really good night out tonight and relax about your 3 boys all being together.

DH took the children out for a run so I could run around with felix and clean up a bit, I'd better get on with it or he'll be Hmm if he comes back to me sat here!

viksam · 18/06/2011 08:57

mylife why cant DH drop u off? Surly thats not much to ask?
When i was younger I always said I wanted loads of kids, thats changed just a little!! But, yes, i am coming to terms with the suprise of this and starting to actually enjoy it. My DH is going to sell the Lotus and we might have some alterations done on the house or we might consider moving although its soooo expensive to move. mylife you talked about moving a while ago, whats happening there?

CakeandRoses · 18/06/2011 09:36

sorry, i've been quiet - trying to get so much done before we go, not least applying for another job which came up yday (still at same place). it looks soooo interesting (all about social media, search engine optimisation and stuff i love )

so pleased it all went well dh - what was your fave bit? have a very happy honeymoon

wooooo vik, horrid when that happens. just as well to remind us all. i'm sure one of us will one day come a cropper of the MN/FB cross-over but hopefully it won't be anything as important as your news.

like mlic i was really smiling reading about your scan. wonderful how fate took a hand with your decision about having another Smile

mlic hope you have a great night - can't you just have a few drinks or are you a none or loads type?

wss happy 40th!! hope you had an amazing day. what a lovely present dh bought you

Thanks ladies, I just couldn't remember whether there was a build up or if I just gave cows milk and hoped for the best. That's what will happen with madam. She does drink milk in cereal so shouldn't be too bad.

mlic you should leave the car so you can have a few, like you I'd be worried I'd have too many but you deserve to let your hair down

chu did you try google for patterns?

viks what a nightmare! Take it there was nothing there when you checked?

wss hope you have a great night out.

dh yay for being a married woman, hope you have a brilliant honeymoon.

cakes enjoy your treatments, wish it was me.

Got ds's kilt yesterday. He looked amazing so grown up. Sil has offered to take R tongiht, don't know what to do. She's better but sil has loads on with milConfused

Chulita · 18/06/2011 10:05

mlic pop your heels in a bag and go in trainers then swap, that's what I do cos I hate walking in heels!

DH is still out with the children and L's friend is due any minute Confused They're only here for an hour so if he's not quick it'll be a very odd play visit thing...

CakeandRoses · 18/06/2011 12:10

Don't be too jealous of the facial stac, it was only a horrid sandblasting one. Not relaxing or pamping in the least.

Yy, like chul I'd take ballet flats to walk in mlic and take your heels to put on when you get to black swan there

Feeling soooo disorganised with the holiday packing but I guess it'll all come together. It's just the flight tomo is early so we'll have to be completely ready to leave by the time we go to bed tonight.

Hah love the way you avoided saying the dreaded 'play date' chulita :)

It's so nice the effort you're making with their bedroom. I put a lot of thought and effort into F's bedroom (altho didn't get that creative as I was v pg with A and knackered) and it's still such a lovely room. He loves playing in there (as does A) and men always compliment it as I think it's like a boy's dream bedroom :)

The thing both of them love in their bedrooms are the fairy lights (F has red, white and blue stars and A has roses) - I bet you could get some lovely ones to match your theme.

Re stretch marks - I was lucky as I didn't get any with F, A was bigger and I got 3 small ones but they can't have been deep as they're barely visible now (skin colour rather than pink or white). I religiously used an oat based cream on my bump so I don't know if it was that or just luck that stopped them. Not genetics as my mother has masses.

I wasn't bad with rileigh only put on about a stone but with jack I put on a whopping 5st. Stretch marks, saggy boobs and tummy. Even when I lost loads of weight my overhang was still there. Think I would need a tummy tuck to wear a bikini oh and maybe dermabrassion on the stretch marks.

Chulita · 18/06/2011 13:10

I don't like the americanism 'playdate'. I think DH and the dad hit it off which is good cos DH hasn't got any friends here yet.
Fairy lights are a great idea, I've got some I've never put up but they're all white, different colours might be lovely.
I put on a stone with L and 3 stone with S (1 of which I can't bloody shift)

DesperateHousewife21 · 18/06/2011 14:47

Cake- I loved the ceremony, speeches and first dance the best but the whole day was amazing.

I'm at the airport now waiting to go through the gate. Speak in a week!

Nice to be in though, I very nearly didn't go out but didn't fancy another night pottering with fabric/wool/glue or chatting to sil on the phone!
Hope you're having wine now to make up for it
