mlic OMG, they are so alike. Very, very cute. Thanks for reassuring me, I'll turst you once more Grin. I think some snide comments by PIL last week made me feel a bit insecure. They are obsessed with weight though, so I shouldn't think about it too much.

tsc Hope DP will see sense.

mlic I really feel for you about nursery drop offs. Those comments must break your heart. But at least you know that he's happy there and it's just the taking him. Good luck anyway.

Albrecht · 10/06/2011 10:35

I've added some photos to fb of ds. Has taken me an age as our internet is so crud. Feel free to coo.

How do you all keep up with this thread? I'm going to have to take notes.

WSS That's what I thought re throwing 3 yr old. All the other mums were telling the boy's mum not to worry about it (not that I expect them to stone her) and laughing. And she didn't say anything to him, the support worker told him off. I know she probably has her own ishooos hence why she's there but 5 mins later was saying, "You shouldn't have more kids than you can bring up properly." Confused

stac Dylthan I've been to the support group a couple of times before. The people are erm ok . They are going to the sauna next week...

stac memphis Sorry your both having it so hard. Somedays I think I'm fine and others its like I've slide to the bottom of the pole again.

Cake Grin He just goes mad, thrashing about and screaming, clenching his fists. He's not a drifts off to sleep baby but a fighting it like its death itself. Think I'm getting a big fat fail on the one nap only today...

Our bathrooms are not similar. Yours: Chic townhouse. Mine: peach and blue lino with purple paint and wood and jacuzzi bath. Not our doing.

dh Fingers crossed for the weather. You will post some photos right away won't you? Please, before you even get a glass in your hand?

Right, sun is out and he's awake, off to look for some otters.

memphis83 · 10/06/2011 12:03

mlic I wouldnt have answered the door or said politely I need a rest. Would she never look after the boys for a few hours so you could rest and have some you time? I think its a good idea swapping the boys if it gives you more of a break and E would probably love having a bit of time just the two of you.
went to family group, the play co ordinator who sorts the activity was off so fathers day cards were just colouring in and pictures of cars cut from a car mag, DH hates cars, L started crying as he was so tired so I just walked out of the group, my two friends who told me this morning they were going didnt turn up either!

CakeandRoses · 10/06/2011 12:48

tsc don't feel guilty or in the wrong over this. Dp said he'd do whatever it took for him to stay and for you to trust him again - well, here's his first chance. Crap for you to have to do this but hopefully it'll get easier as he proves he can be trusted.

memph I feel gutted that you feel that way about yourself :( is it linked to the pnd or something else? You have zero reason to feel shit about the way you look. Have you tried something like NLP? I've used it to great effect with things like developing more confidence with public speaking and interviews but it can be used for all sorts of things.

chul wish I could take you on hols :) if we do get this lodge then a week will have your name on it! Still working out the finances for it and have been majorly side-tracked by trying to book the hols so still don't know if we will buy one.

albrecht yy, F was like that too - acted like sleep was actually dying. Is he generally happy when awake?

Tis easy keeping uo with the thread. You just can't have a real life too, silly!

Hi all, thanks again for reassuring me I'm not being a pain in the ass. Hv came today and has gave me a referral for some nursery time she is also going to write to the local housing associations saying we need a bigger house. She feels if I can have R in her own room then I will be have time to myself and relax as will she.

albrecht they go for saunas? (Sorry judgy pants) suppose its doing something to make you relax. She didn'tmention a group but I didn't ask either.

mlic boys sure know how to pull your heart strings. Do you still put E in twice a week? Could you split it one day for W and one for E?

trudy it worked and I replied Grin. Whens your next scan?

tsc don't blame you for the lack of trust. I would want to know what he's doing and I don't think what you've said is unreasonable.

memphis sorry group was crap, what you doing for the rest of the day?

Mil definitely kept in the hospital for the time being. We're all quite relieved.

Chulita · 10/06/2011 13:35

cake sounds like a fun evening you've got planned! I keep wondering about L's nap, sometimes she goes down, sometimes not and she's getting bad about going to sleep at night. I love, love, love it when they're both asleep at the same time (is that bad?) Confused

mlic I find it so much easier with S than with L, opposite to you. L wants full-on attention/responses/interaction whereas S will get a car and drive it around for 10 mins or wrestle with a balloon. I tend to ignore him most of the time Blush cos he's just so easy at the moment. L is non-stop and so much trouble (but deliciously cheeky and beautiful so she's allowed). It's only the evil couple of hours between 3 and 5 when they're both hard work.

tsc you're perfectly justified in saying what you have. If he's sincerely trying to prove he's ok then he needs to be crystal clear on what he's doing and not be surprised if you ask for proof/more information.

stac that would be great for R to have her own room, at least you can reclaim your bedroom!

malibustac · 10/06/2011 13:45

chulita sorry af came. I got mine again too. Hope its not too bad for you. On the bright side ttc can commence.

malibustac · 10/06/2011 13:47

Just hope we get a bigger house chulita

CakeandRoses · 10/06/2011 13:47

keeping everything crossed for you re the house stac

what's wrong with saunas? Confused love 'em! dh's other recent madcap idea is to put a sauna in the attic - it's a full-time job keeping his plans reigned in

snap chul re F being a pain to go to sleep at night but loving it when they're both napping Blush

Also snap re A being sooooooooooooooo much easier than F. I could pretty much ignore A all day (not that i would obv!) and she'd be cool with it whereas F is non-stop questions, asking me to do a puzzle with him, put music on for him etc. but like you with L, i could eat him alive he's so funny and cute. i really miss him on his nursery days but it's been lovely to have that time do the pfb type stuff with A on her own.

holiday finally booked aside from 4 nights when we're going to stay somewhere else once i've found a place.

stac my sister had 3 children in a 1 bed flat and they were fine (somehow) but it would have driven me up the wall. They were all within 4 years of each other so it didn't matter if they shared a small space. Now they've got 4 children in a 3 bed but again, 2 girls/2 boys so it's worked out well. They were on the council list for ages to get a place though! Good luck!

Hooray for settling on a destination cake! Hope you have a brilliant time

If jack was younger chu I wouldn't bother but think its too big a gap for them to share. I'm ten years older than my sis and we shared but it was dire but again if I had 2 girls or 2 boys I don't think it would be so bad. I was told by one housing today that I'm not priority as I'm from the city Confused I thought that was a good thing. Forgot about your night off no wonder your Angry

memphis83 · 10/06/2011 15:45

oh tsc whenever DH or I go away we only take a set amount of money , he knows if he runs out of money then thats it til he gets home, cards get left at home even though our money is seperate, it just insures he wont get drunk and buy a round of shots for 30 lads (he has never done this , but a work mate did and it scared him into leaving his own card at home!) When he went snowboarding he said he needed to take a credit card as you have to pay a lot of money to be airlifted if you have an accident, but I told him he wouldnt uderstand French anyway and they could call to get payment from me! I dont think it is an unreasonable request in the circumstances, why would he have to go on the Sunday if the meeting is Monday?

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/06/2011 17:09

Well I went back to my sister's house after the baby shower and came home with an extra child! (I said Id have my 10 year old niece overnight being the wonderful sister I am Grin)

Its nice because shes old enough to keep Dylan entertained and not get bored herself!

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/06/2011 17:11

albrecht of course I will post pics, Ill try and get them up on fb as soon as. I know its not conventional but so many people cant wait for pics I know what its like dying to see something on fb then having to wait a bloody week for them to go up.
