Had a quick read through. Happy birthday wiggles it is our 9th wedding anniversary today! Went into Harrogate for lunch with the two littlies. Thought of you reastie I 'did it' in a park and pizza express!

Naughty Dilly hope she passes through the sleep regression soon and if I don't come on again before I hope you have fab holidays ledkr and wiggles

Jane hope you a recovering from your um injury!

Saw you on the aibu thread emski where she came home on Monday night and found her dh with another woman. How awful was that. Checked the thread just now and they are starting to fall out! Well done Noah with the sleeping!

reastie · 08/06/2011 22:06

Happy birthday wiggles
Have fun in gay ole paris ledkr.
After a mammouth nap this afternoon 2-6.30 freya went down at 9.30 without her harness for her 1st official night without it. No wakeups as of yet. I have swaddled her legs to see if that helps.

Have seen the feb 2012 antenatal clubs and it's weird to think back to this time last year.

tadjennyp · 08/06/2011 23:53

Well done Freya!

Hope you are having a great birthday still, wiggles! Hope all the little ones are having great sleeps. Sammy is having his first nap of the day. Hmm

Have a great time in Ibiza and Paris, if I don't get on before.

You are doing really well reastie! And this thread is great. Night all.

wigglesrock · 09/06/2011 07:01

hubbard hope you and Freya got some sleep last night - well done Freya!

Anna went to sleep at 7.30pmish last night as usual and then woke up crying at 10.30pm - literally couldnot be comforted, squealed solidly, proper tears, was still going at 11.30pm, in sheer desperation I rubbed some Bonjela on her gums, she seemed to keep rubbing one side of her mouth in particular - she fell asleep in 5 mins Shock Noooooo, its too soon for teeth!!

Sofia's sports day today - it's already been postponed twice because of the rain but doesn't look too bad today, am taking Anna & Olivia, hoping if I continually hold Anna it will discourage anyone from asking me to actually participate in it Grin

reastie · 09/06/2011 08:06

wiggles I had a really similar thing with alice last night Shock - woke up at 1:30 screaming the house down and kept going on and off until well gone 3:30 with proper tears too (never done this before) - we did everything (including naughties like feeding her when she wasn't hungry) . Sometimes she would stop when you cuddled her but sometimes she wouldn't Confused .. I didn't even think about teeth - do you think that might be it for us too? I nearly gave her calpol in the hope she would shut up but didn't consider trying bonjela (I have some in the medicine cabinet - at the ready just incase Wink ). She's still sleeping now after the nightime ordeal - would be nice if I was too Hmm

hubbard will look forward to a hopefully positive report back on sleep last night

44me I meant 'get' you for doing it in the park Wink not 'got'

OP posts:
wigglesrock · 09/06/2011 08:11

reastie I don't know- Anna has been at her mouth pretty much constantly for the past few weeks, maybe the shock of having the Bonjela just sent her over Grin She seems ok this morning but I thought it helped her, funny enough I bought some last week after she had very hot cheeks!!

Wish me luck for hiding behind the bike sheds the 3 legged race Grin

reastie · 09/06/2011 08:25

wiggles alice has her hands in her mouth an awful lot too but assumed they all did . Will have to try sticking sophie la giraffe in her mouth Wink

hubbard86 · 09/06/2011 08:56

not a very positive night at all sorry reastie. I spoke too soon. Between freya and her brother i have had a total of 2hrs sleep in 10min slots. They seem to tag team. One stops the other starts. Can't even have a break today as we have playgroup baby group and a fireman coming to put smoke alarms in. It may be an esppresso and red bull day. Bon voyage ledkr. Have fun at sports day. Just look very exhausted and keep sighing and you probably won't get asked

ledkr · 09/06/2011 09:18

Everyone i am not going untill monday i am begining to feel unloved.
Funny cos D screamed like never befoe in the bath last night, was inconsolable as well but stopped when i gave her her bedtime feed. Slept 7-5am Confused but this time dh fed her and she went straight back to sleep in the pram and is still asleep. How odd. Its annoying cos it was when i tried to get her back that sent me over the edge yestaerday so dont want to repeat that, but if she is going to go back down we could stay in bed iyswim.
I think my hormones are playing up,in the weeks after my period im fine but the 2 weeks before im evil, was going to ask dh for a divorce last night Shock Anyone with any experience,im taking vit b6 but not helped yet.
Hubbard poor you,it is hard with another child, early night tonight? I went to sleep befor 10 and it really helped with the early wake up.Sometiomes i get really depressed cos i think ill never sleep again properly.
Im sure D is teething, she gets pink cheeks and is just gnawing everything- except a plastic giraffe- I am struggling to find an ordinary teething ring with water in that you can put in the fridge, they are all a bit new fangled.
Going to try the walk in the daylight today whilst Ella dances so i will see if that works. Off to shred now.

ledkr · 09/06/2011 09:18

OO wiggles i love the mothers race, ive never lost Grin

debka · 09/06/2011 09:53

Was it a full moon last night or something? S woke crying 1/2 an hr after I put her down, but settled with a bit more milk. Then was up 3 more times for feeds, sigh. I weighed her this morning on my dohicketty professional kitchen scales and she's 11.14- looked in Red Book and she's tracking (at last) the 9th centile. O how the mighty are fallen- 99th to 9th!!!

We had jabs this morning, proper full on screaming. She's asleep in the car now.

Safe journey to Paris today led ha ha just kidding, I know it's Monday! Grin We often play outside after tea and before bath, don't know if it makes any difference to waking times though.

wiggles been wondering who'll get the first teeth- maybe it'll be Anna?

hubbard hope you cope today, and F gets the hang of life without the harness soon too.

44me where do you live? I met DH when he was living in Harrogate, I lived near Pateley Bridge. I bloody loved it there, would move back in a heartbeat. Too expensive for me now, alas.

ponyo and mizk have a fab time, I did want to join you next time i visit ils in Loughborough but since I'm never speaking to them again I guess it won't happen. Grin

reastie · 09/06/2011 09:57

no experience re: hormones ledkr other than I've always had probs with mine and gp has never helped other than try and help the effects (like pills for dizziness I get). Oh - hang on - I did once go to the health food shop re this and, aside from evening primrose oil you can get herby thing called agnus cactus which is suppose to be really good for hormones. I did try it but it gave me a tummy upset (but then everything does - don't let that put you off) so can't vouch for how much it actually works.

Oh, and ledkr we got given one of those teething rings you put in the fridge from someone - think it was from mamas and papas

hubbard I was so hoping for a big Grin from you this morning :(

suzym1984 · 09/06/2011 10:02

ledkr we have a teething ring filled with water, got it from asda for about 2 quid, harry loves it!

I think it must have been a full moon last night, H has been having 9 hour stretches and last night woke every 2 hours!! Ended up in bed with me as I was desperate, hope Im not starting bad habits!

Thanks for the replies re:pushchairs, makes me feel less bad mummy!

reastie · 09/06/2011 10:03

deb remember you had gd so maybe s just took longer to find her centile - alice has gone from about 90-something percentile to 25th. They were all really worried and panicking at the beginning if you remember as she lost more than 10% of her body weight and made me do such a mad feeding regime? I think they didn't take account of the gd and that it just took her longer to find where she needed to get to iykwim

just watching apprentice on iplayer as alice decided to scream through it last night

suzym1984 · 09/06/2011 10:05

Does anyone watch "geordie shore" on MTV? Gives us geordies a bad name.....but it is addictive!

suzym1984 · 09/06/2011 10:07

I am having the opposite problem with H, gone from 9th to 75th centile, HV keeps looking at me like I am force feeding him, im not I promise Blush

ledkr · 09/06/2011 11:45

btw i have the oyster and mostly still use the carrycot cos she doesnt seem as comfy in the buggy, but she is very tiny still. i love her in her pram, she has the hood down if awake and watches the trees and sky. she sleeps in it too so i dont wake her for the school run.im starting to worry about where she will sleep when too big or rolly for it.
having a cuddly day on the sofa with her,id highly reccomend it for re bonding when you feel like i did yesterday, going to spoil it now by shredding now while dshe sleeps.

janedoe25 · 09/06/2011 11:48

Uh Oh! Sorry to hear that lots of the babiew were up raving last night! Hope you all manage a sleep tonight.

Well, for once i have good news, i got out our blood results back form the consultant and it appears we are normal Grin. I am on the dreaded 2 ww just now, don't think i am pg but who knows?

Hope you all have a good day, oh ledkr are you not in Paris yet? Wink

Deliaskis · 09/06/2011 12:10

Morning ladies, hope the day is going moderately smoothly for everyone.

janedoe so pleased for you that you can put that worry aside.

Ledkr you're in paris aren't you Wink yes I'm hilarious.

Deb C had her third set of jabs this morning too, and screamed, and screamed and screamed, actually for about an hour (tried feeding, everything), and finally screamed herself into exhaustion and went to sleep, from which she is now waking. NOw her sleep/feed schedule is totally up shit creek so no idea what today is going to be like.

I am also beginning to suspect teething issues, but it's hard to know as C has so many other problems with reflux, tummy troubels etc.

Argh, she's now waking, that's not good, I really want her to get a good sleep!

Dx

Grannyapple · 09/06/2011 12:56

Hi ladies...sorry to put a spanner in the works....but Nate slept from 7.30pm til 5.40am,with a dream feed at 10.30pm...I sooo hope this is him on his way to longer sleep stretches at might!!

Oh....I also have mate in his pushchair & not carrycot anymore...he got too big for carrycot & was constantly straining his be k trying to get up & see out of the carrycot...wee nosey bugger that he is!

Jane good luck for the 2 ww!

ledkr · 09/06/2011 13:55

jane you normal?neverI will have baited breath for the big wait you never know.
granny i give up trying to see patterns, just gonna go with the flow now.
im wishing you were all right and i was in paris.

reastie · 09/06/2011 13:55

oh jane the 2ww - hope it goes quickly - I remember that time drag and Hmm Confused feeling

had a call re: nhs therapy for my anxiety 'issues' and I could tell apt booking lady didn't have a child - she was really Shock when I mentioned I might have to bring lo with me - maybe iabu in saying this but what with travel, wait times and apt time I may be out for over 2 hrs (she often feeds every 2 hrs in the day) and don't like expressing feeds unless I really really have to and it's not always that easy to get someone to look after alice Confused . i'm still getting used to this whole having a baby THE WHOLE TIME malarchy (sp)

great news granny

I completelty understand the annoyance on being off schedule d -hope today runs smoothly - sure she won't even notice - sometimes i think it bothers us much more Hmm Shock

Back from sports day, thankfully rain stayed away - dodged the parents race by wearing very impractical shoes Grin Sofia has Irish dancing this pm and Liv has playgroup so was hoping to get some bits and pieces done incl the Shred but Anna isn't asleep- oh dear, have to give it a miss but am working tonight so that automatically gives me a day off the Shred!!

ledkr poundshops for traditional teethers or like suzy I have Asdas.

God, don't some parents take sports day seriously, bloody video cameras, cameras and shouting "encouragement" - they're feckin' 5 years old ffs. The fact that your little Johnny has the capacity to keep a potato on a spoon doesn't necessarily mean Mensa are going to come calling!! Rant over Grin

wigglesrock · 09/06/2011 14:04

Sorry Jane meant to say too busy ranting, congrats re bloods.

reastie can someone not come with you and mind Alice while you are actually in appt. They can wait with A in waiting room.
