July 2010: Drool it, maul it, crawl over it - that's how our threadbabes would eat a creme egg. But why the Creme Egg?!

I just feel fat and want to do something about it but I love eating too much - not good.
I am also exhausted so am toddling off now.
Night night!

Night

CakeandRoses · 21/05/2011 00:02

just came on to say hello but looks like you've all turned in.

hope your wake-up isn't/wasnt Confused scarily early again today wss

F has been soooo emotional today, bless him. he burst into tears about 4 times today over nothing really. not like him at all.

we had a great time at the playbarn this afternoon, my actual friend had her day off from work so came too whereas usually her dh brings their dd. got home and let F watch toy story 3 and eat an ice cream on.the.sofa. Shock as a treat (they'd already eaten dinner at the playbarn). think i might make that a regular fri thing as it was a nice chilled end to the week/day for me too.

first morning using the groclock lie-in machine thingy tomo. it didn't bode well this evening when F alternated between saying he didn't like the star, wanting to know where the [real] sun goes at night and asking where the moon is Hmm

I think ice cream on the sofa is a silly fab thing to do. Can't say I'd let L do it yet though even with our crappy throws on!
I'm a bit grumpy at being up again, I'd love DH to leap out of bed when S cries and let me have a bit of a lie in.
How did the groclock thing go?

dh sounds like teeth L has had a few days where he just winges all day long, but I wont pick him up when he winges or I wouldnt get anything done, L loves music as soon as I play music he is quiet, he loves mr Blooms Nursery so I now record them and when he is moany I put one on as its got lots of singing and they his frown turns upside down!
tsc sounds like a nightmare situaltion, we never had booze in our house growing up but if I did I would have stole it, dhalways said their drinks cabinet was 90% water after him and his mates got to it!
mlic sounds like a horror of a night!
chulita look on the brightside once youv've eaten all the chocolate in the house there wont be any to eat! Ive got the Tracey Anderson pors pg workout, it felt like it had started to work the week I did it for!!!
melissa poor you , It must have scared you to death.

Dh is at work in London today, I wish I had gone with him and got the tube from the site to the city for the day now but I didnt think, instead im making a quiche and my dad is coming over so I will have to hear him bleat on about how I should get L christened! We are out tonight so looking forward to going to the Hot Rock Grill! Ive even bought a dress!

Trudyla · 21/05/2011 10:48

How did the groclock thing go cake? Are you all still sleeping?

MLIC Pray tell what the supernanny style is. M. often screams in anger soo soo loud (when I want to change her nappy, wash her face, put the bib on, etc.) and I sometimes don't know what else to do and shout at her to stop screaming, which is such a ridiculous thing to shout, so I'm very interested in a different technique. Sorry E is being difficult at the moment. They take it in turns your two, don't they.

I'm the same as you chulita, I really don't want to put on as much weight, but I lurvvve food so much, I have to do it with the exercise. I'm not doing it at the moment, but my next doctor's appointment is on Tuesday and then I'll ask if I can exercise again.

Sorry about your whinger dh. I totally feel your pain. I was at the end of my tether yesterday, cos she was just not happy all day, ever.

Have you all got nice weekend plans? (apart from MLIC who seems to be bored, judging by the old thread Grin ). We're going for a curry later and maybe have some friends round later or tomorrow. Tomorrow night I'll go and finally see the latest Harry Potter at a friend's place. He's got a proper home cinema system and it's quite an event, so really looking forward to it.

well, no, the lie-in machine didn't quite work - dh ended up in bed with him ('Oh you didn't tell me i wasn't supposed to do that', this after avoiding it for weeks Angry) in the early hours. But... F does over-think things (not sure who he gets that from Wink) so sometimes takes a while to accept a change like this. dh and F was very impressed with the sun coming up this morning so we remain hopeful.

but then dh totally made up for it by taking BOTH of them out for breakfast giving me a 2 hour lie-in and coming back bearing some beautiful peonies and lupins. so i'm all loved up again [sick bucket emoticon]

he's now snoring his head off whilst they nap so i'm going to have a quick bath before making a packed lunch to take when they all wake up as we're going to see 'Thomas the Tank Engine stage show' later [rock n fucking roll emoticon]

then we've got friends coming round for (home-made) pizzas later. Tomo we're going to a friend's 9mo dd's christening and then back to theirs for a get-together. they've just had a big wooden pirate ship built in their garden (their ds is same age as mine) - F will lose his mind!

your nights sounds crapola mlic and tsc Sad hope today makes up for it

hope you have a fab night out memph. and your weekend sounds great fun trudy, hope it all goes well

hope D bucks up dh, A's top 2 front teeth have been murder, stop/starting for weeks but i'm hopeful that these were the worst ones for a while

chul i read that it's '4 teeth every 4 months'. The longest break F has was between his canines when A was born and these.fuck-awful.molars.

you made me chuckle saying it was silly re ice-cream on the sofa, i thought you'd be one of the ones thinking i was being silly not allowing it usually. he didn't actually make any mess but i did clear the sofa of all precious cushions first

CakeandRoses · 21/05/2011 12:55

oh, and dh and i 'had a moment' at about 1am last night when the idea of no3 became a distinct possibility Shock

save me from myself, please!

mlic that's outrageous, I'm so Angry on your behalf. I just can't believe that they expect a fully grown woman to 'ask' her husband to write to them to confirm that. It's demeaning and ridiculous.

S hasn't slept since 9.15 this morning and has been in bed crying for nearly an hour. He's shattered though, I got him up for 5 mins and he spent the whole time rubbing his eyes and crying...

mylife thats just plain stupid imo, i dont understand why they cant look at ur bank account or something surly they can see that u dont have an income over the amnt to have to pay it back??
Well i have just had the best few mine ever, D did a massive poo that escaped out of the back of his nappy, so after clearing that up i decided to let him have a while nappyless, i went into the kitchen for a min to rinse out the pooey clothes and stain treat them and when i came back in he had pooed on the ruddy carpet and was just starting to play with it!!! Noooooooooooo!!! he was left sat on the bloody play mat but oh no he couldnt stay on that could he, it had to be on the carpet didnt it! I have already cleaned up cat puke and dog wee today so it really is the day for it in my house.
We had another shit night too, he woke at 11.40 and then 3ish but was awake for ages again, i calpoled him and eventually he settled but not till a good hour later, and then woke at 6.40!! still too early in my book!! now hes a total winge bag unless one of us is playing with him and he has a runny nose.....please not another cold. I really do wonder how im going to handle two!

Thanks ladies, DP took him out for an hour and a half so I could get some sleep.

Chulita · 21/05/2011 17:06

mlic let me know if you find a good saag aloo recipe, I love the stuff!

viks like mlic says you just survive, and now that they're both being ignored-- in the living room watching cartoons together it's lovely :)

Just made the most meltylicious viennese fingers, hmmmm, diet out the window again!
