Grin Thought I should start a new thread as it certainly ISN'T snowing any more and those 4th Birthdays are a-coming and some have a-come!!! Smile

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to those I have missed (sorry) - hope you had splendid times Smile

Could someone perhaps bring up the stats thread? I think someone might've posted it on the snow thread actually, so I'll take a quixk look in a sec .....

G is just having a week of mornings, until after lunch then he'll be on full days Shock He'll be so tired! And he's still so little, wearing 2-3y trousers and size 6.5 shoes. I can imagine mixed morning and afternnons would be a nightmare with older dc or littleys at preschool.

CaptainDippy · 07/06/2011 12:44

I've not been told much info about school yet, but think P will be F/T straight away.

Leaky - thats tiny!! Dylan is firmly in size 4-5 clothes and size 9-10 feet. Was amazed when Ellie visited last week to discover that Dylan and Joe are pretty much the same height and size now considering the huge difference in them as babies! (Photo of D&J at 5 months still on profile btw if anyones interested!).

I think Dylan's first week at school he'll just do 3 mornings, I think, can't quite remember for sure though Blush But after that he'll do 2 full days and 3 days just mornings until Oct when he'll be full time. Last year I was cming a little girl who started school and actually felt quite guilty when I presented her mother with the bill for the month!

Dylan got his book start pack from playschool today and has 2 really lovely books in it, much better than the ones ds1 had in his!

Northernlurker · 07/06/2011 15:22

B will start school in January full time. I cannot be doing with any faffing about with part time and it's totally pointless when she's used to full days at nursery.
She is in age 4-5 clothes (5-6 in Boden) and her shoe size is 8.

Oh and hi to all of you Grin

oooggs · 07/06/2011 18:18

Hi NL

Erin has size 10 feet and is in 3/4 in bottoms and 4/5 in tops
Jack has size 11 feet and is in 4/5. They are now the same height!!!!

They (I think) will both start full time on Monday 5th - but info from school is very slow but I am now used to that Wink

CaptainDippy · 09/06/2011 10:05

P is 9.5 in shoes and in 4 - 5 yr clothes. She is pretty much the same size as DD2 who is 2 yrs older, cute!! Smile

Anyone else's 4 yr old being particularly challenging at the moment Hmm? O is currently 'testing boundaries' by saying no to everything (going to bed, going to pre-school etc) and then having the most massive screaming meltdown when we try to make her. It's lots of fun Hmm!

craftynclothy · 09/06/2011 13:29

Leaky - just wanted to say you're not alone. Erin is only in a size 7 shoe and her clothes vary a lot. She's mainly in 3-4/4-5 for the length but they are all adjustable waist trousers on the tightest setting. Dresses tend to just hang on her.

We find out next week the arrangements for starting school but she's very excited as she loves the nursery and is looking forward to staying for lunch and having her own lunchbox Grin.

Bramshott - Erin has had phases of bad behaviour but usually linked to coming down with an ear infection. Just lately though she's had a funny patch where she doesn't want to go to bed (sigh) and she only wants to play with what Orla has and has taken to doing this high pitched screech to object to anything. It's particularly embarrassing in shops.

CaptainDippy · 10/06/2011 11:23

P is the most stubborn little girl I have ever met, she frustrates me no end with her whinging, whining and refusal to do even the tiniest of tasks. So definitely not alone Smile xxx

hello ladies Luke split his head open today on a open kitchen cupboard door - he is fine - I have aged another few years!!!!

Look I know loads of you are busy buying school uniforms Wink but the lacking of posting is disgraceful Grin

Pesha · 14/06/2011 22:17

I would post more but it would only be me moaning and bitching about being pregnant still!! I am having the same stop/start early labour that I had with Dylan only it doesn't actually stop it just gets less frequent and painful for a while but still keeps picking up again just long enough to get me excited and then all slows down again Hmm

Saw MW today, I am 37+5 but am measuring 43cm!! 43 ffs!!! Have been referred for scan but she said they may not bother with it as I'm so far gone anyway. I don't want a giant baby!!

Pesha · 14/06/2011 22:19

Sorry what a self absorbed twat! My brain only took in your last paragraph Oooggs, sorry Blush

Sorry about Luke, glad to hear he is fine though and hope you recover soon too! Heads bleed a lot don't they?!

oooggs · 15/06/2011 13:04

Bramshott · 20/06/2011 11:34

I have not been buying school uniform (although aparently there's a chance to order it at the new parents coffee morning I am off to tomorrow) but have been working all hours and am very tired [yawn]!

leakyR · 20/06/2011 19:00

Pesha - I hope there's been some baby action for you.

Oooggs - Glad Luke was ok, anything to do with their heads is a panicky situation ime.

I have been buying uniform, because last week (or the week before) it was 20% off and free postage on M&S website and I was curious to see if their 3y trousers will fit G. They do, with much adjustment on the waist. I'm not at all worried that he'll grow out of them over the summer. MunchkinGrin

We had a new parents evening at BIG school last week. It is a lovely school, dh quite taken with G's teacher (tiny, smiley pretty blonde) me too, but probably for different reasons Wink

Bramshott · 21/06/2011 09:44

Oh yes, it's still 20% off and free delivery on uniform at M & S - I ordered some stuff for O last night. As well as some name tapes from www.wovenlabelsuk.com which were MUCH cheaper than the ones I'd got previously from Cash's!
