Hi SPB, CD, Bramshott, Oooggs...(waves and does a happy dance :) ).

SPB i think i'm going to do both, i've got the appeal form but will wait to see where i am on the waiting list. I may also just go and visit the school that she has been allocated, a second look might alleviate my fears.

Fingers crossed for the appeal and waiting list Yvie!

The sun is shining, the debris from last night's dinner party is cleaned, and O is upstairs screaming Hmm. Time to head out into the garden I think!!

Sounds like a plan, Bramshott Wink Sunday afternoons are always a really hideous and tiresome time with my little ones, I find - Lots of bickering and screaming and general hideous-ness. We've been for a picnic and a run around round in a Village Green in one of the villages near where I live, which was nice - apart from the aforementioned .... I've just woken up from a little nap though (getting old Blush) ....

Happy Birthday to Hensden's little boy and to Twinkle's Evelyn Catherine (always though that was such a lovely name) Smile!!

StealthyKissBeartrayal · 10/04/2011 17:32

dippys dd1 is going to Junior school, my ds1 goes into the juniors as he is in a primary school which has infants and juniors instead of an infant school then a junior school.

Hey ladies.

Thout I would pop in and say hi as I saw this in the active list.

Life is good here, C is loving nursery, and seems to be top dog there GrinHmm

Got a busy month coming up, dh and I are off to France skiing next week, then C's birthday at local soft play, then we are away to Tenerife.

All the school talk is quite funny as C won't go until next year as the Scottish system is different. In some ways it feels strange, as I know if he were in England he would be going but another year in nursery suits me fine!

Glad to see everyone on here, sorry to those who have had such sadness recently.

Lovely to see you GM Smile Enjoy your hol, jealous!! Wink

Bless you SPB - yes, you were right the 1st time!! DD1 has just turned 7, DD2 is 6 next month and obviously, little P is 4 at this end of this month! Don't doubt yourself Wink It's Caz who is the same age as me, has a million children and has one going to secondary in Sept (or poss start this Sept just gone)!! WinkSmile xx

Yes I thought so, but then I started thinking is that possible?? Obv yes it is :o
Lol at caz having 'millions' of children! I think NL also has 3 girls with the oldest one in/starting secondary, and presumably the youngest starting primary - that might have been confusing me too

This time 4 years ago I was having practice contractions, bouncing on my ball and watching dh pretend he wasn't panicking much Grin

The birthdays are in full swing now.
We've got my mam arriving this evening, 4 friends for pizza and cake tomorrow teatime and a bouncy castle and a dozen preschoolers on Saturday. Eeek!

George has been a blardy nightmare today. Hoping it's just excitement and he'll be lovely again tomorrow on his actual birthday.

Hi all.

Thanks for starting this thread Dippy.

Happy Birthday to everyone I have missed.

How are we all? Enjoying the fab weather?

We don't find out about schools until the end of this month. We should be ok; our house backs on to the school playing field :)

Good morning lovely ladies Smile

How fab to see some of the old names cropping back up on here lately!

Not much happening in my life just now which suits me fine after the upheaval of late.
My aunt is doing ok, has been back into hospital for a bit but is home again now. Tbh I think she needs a bit of a boot up the bum to get moving as she is lording it up from her armchair! The physio has told her to move around more, and I know that she is worried about doing too much, but she needs a shove in the right direction!

I am off to meet a friend for coffee in a bit which is just lovely.

Yvie, lovely to see you, sorry about the school. If you appeal I really hope you get what you wanted for Sarai.

I don't have any of the school waiting to do as F is already in full time since we live over the Severn Bridge!

Oooggs, hope you get what you want when the letter comes, waiting is pants.

Morning ladies Smile

I just wanted to pop in on ds' birthday and wish all the lovely April ladies children a happy birthday as they all turn 4.

I've been reading through some of our old threads getting very nostalgic, remembering good times.

Thank you all for sharing my pregnancy and birth with dsSmile

Sorry I don't get on here as much as I used to, I often read. I went through quite a bad spell of being depressed and I didn't really talk to anyone, go out or do anything. But I'm back to being 'me' again now and feel very happySmile

I still can't believe my baby is 4 Shock he's so grown up, bless him.

Lovely to see you Eddas, really glad you are feeling happier now. Depression is an evil nasty that is very tough to deal with so well done you!! Smile
I can't believe they are all turning four either, it is so scary how quickly the time is going by. Hope you all have a lovely day today with plenty of birthday celebrations Grin

I am going to visit my friend today for a bit of lunch, haven't seen her in a while so I am really looking forward to it (get me with a social life!).
I am feeling a bit miserable today and so I am sure meeting up with her will perk me up. It has been so sunny and lovely and today is grey and rainy so I think I am just longing for the sunshine to come back!
