Congratulations! That is great news!

Well, I'm letting DH take me shopping today. I hate using credit cards but my boobs are so big this time round, nothing fits across the chest. They are horrifying! Grin

p.s, LOL at horrifying boobsGrin

I had the same, they were ridiculous. finally back at a C-cup after 6 or 7 tortous gym classes a week for the last 4 months. I actually wore a SIZE 10 top the other day, can you adam and eve itShock. The bummer is that none of my bras fit now and no spare cash to buy any new ones, still..........every cloud!

Two DDs will be lovely stripey congratulations! A house full of females - sounds like heaven to me Grin! You'll be fine with two; it's a bit crazy but it is wonderful too, suddenly feels like a proper family somehow. Glad to hear your DD2 is a sleeper GA, mine too - I am sure it's my attitude though, I am so much more relaxed, plus I wear her all the time in my amazing carrier - a marsupi - and just get on with playing with N etc, so I think she has just learned that sleep is the way to go. She must sleep about 6 hours a day! Then goes down at 7 and sleeps all night long (with the odd snuzzley feed of course) - heavenly cuddles all night long, I look forward to the night as my real time with her, because the day is all about keeping up with N!

Listen to me, I'm raving... but this is love; I just adore her.

Size 10, wow, pat - you must be super fit by now! How is DH? Happy Birthday by the way to DD1; what heights of excitement did she manage to reach?! Is she still loving school? We must get together soon.

N is finally starting nursery next week - a Welsh one! It's at the local Welsh school and it's really fab - he's doing 2 afternoons a week. He may well end up going to the Welsh medium school if the local primary (only 22 kids Sad) closes, so we figured he'll get a bit of a gentle intro with the nursery.

Waves to everyone; sorry for not catching up properly.

Hi Pat - and Happy Birthday to your dd! Smile

I think you'll find I am still the excuse the pun - cup holder for the title of horrific boobs title on this 'ere thread. 34KK when I was bf ds2! Currently 34H with no baby as an excuse! Blush

As for a size 10! Well done, you really deserve it though with all the exercise and effort you've put into it. Thin and fit - I am sooo Envy, but, on the other hand, I fully deserve my monster boobs and the fact that I don't fit in any of the summer clothes I bought last year. I am currently a blimp of my own making - no other way to describe it, but all is not lost. Its my birthday on Sunday and I'm getting a shiny new pair of MBTs, so will be kick starting my healthy eating and exercise regime on Monday (after my shitty meeting with the school Hmm) and hoping to be at least a stone lighter by our summer holiday.

MissJ, its lovely to hear you all lovey about your baby girl. Smile I hope your local school doesn't close, it would be so lovely for N to go to a small village school.

Ahem....... Please note that that is a size 10 top and NOT bottoms, will be some time yet I fear before I squeeze my butt into some size 10s. Still, more than happy with a 12 after being a large 14 for so long. It is worth it though, I feel so great and have so much energy. I have not had a single sniffle since January and period pains have upped and left the building. Not sure about being super-fit but I am surprising myself with what I can do now, still shit at running more than 3 miles but nevermind! Also I have not dieted one bit, I guess I must be eating less as have less time to actually eat, but I have had cake, curry, all sorts really and lost 27 pounds since feb. Dh is also improving health wise, he is having weekly physio and has played 3 games of badminton lately with no I'll effects so he is super happy about that. Still no football for the forseeable, but not sure that's a bad thing to be honest! Dd has been high as the highest kite you can imagine for about 2 weeks now, and is showing no signs of descending from the stratosphere. Day out with 3 classmates to cinema and pizzza hut tomorrow morning.......wish me luck!

Moose, those boobies don't sound hideous at all, bet dh loves them! I know it's so annoying getting things to fit properley if you are anything over a d cup so hope your exercise regime gets off to a good start.

Missj, baby n sounds so adorable I fear that when we do come in august I will eat her right up! Your post has made me ridiculously broody, as has my dsis's ever expanding bump. New neice or nephew to be is cooking nicely, but apparently has a head size on the 99th percentile according to the scan, ouch! Yay for nursery for nye, he will love it!

Report
moosemama · 10/06/2011 23:00

Lol, dh doesnt get chance to love them! They are strictly controlled by those incredible feats of engineering known as over the shoulder boulder holders and then smothered in extremely non-sexy utility nightclothes - I value my sleep far too much to let him catch sight of them! Wink

27lbs since February Shock and without a diet - hmm, perhaps there's something to this exercise lark after all! Grin Seriously though, I know what you mean about feeling fab when you get fit and healthy, that feelings enough to keep you on the right track. Seems a long way off to me at the moment, but I'm determined to get there - eventually.

So pleased to hear your dh is doing so well and even playing badminton.

Have fun with your cinema and pizza trip tomorrow - hope dd has a great time. Smile

Where is everyone? Sad I know everyone is busy but it would be very sad to let our thread shrivel and die in the MN wastelands... I know I am hardly a super-poster, but I do love to keep up with everyone's news.

Anyway, busy here as always, but sick too, with horrible snotty cold, mouth ulcers and cold sore into the bargain - this really sucks. I feel completely disgusting. Looking forwards to a bit of a holiday with my mum and sis in 2 weeks- just a cottage in west wales but should be relaxing with them to entertain the DCs.

N has done 2 afternoons at nursery and predictably took it in his stride - stayed for an hour the first day but he was very happy to say goodbye, and the next day I had to really persuade him to kiss me goodbye, he was so busy playing with the trains already. Funny that it's all in Welsh - he doesn't seem fazed. I'll start lessons too if he goes to the welsh school - they run classes especially for parents - which would be a nice new challenge.

Hi, for all my good intentions this thread still managed to fall off my threads.

Been a bit of a week for me this week. Got rushed up to the Eye A&E on the other side of Birmingham yesterday - vision problems and severe pain. My GP suspected acute glaucoma or optic neuritis and told me to get up there immediately. Fortunately it was neither, my eyes were fully checked out and were fine. Unfortunately, that episode, coupled with some rather odd symptoms I've had recently have landed me with a neuro and mri referral. Had one 6 years ago, when they found lesions that they couldn't determine the cause of, now they need to know if any more have appeared.

Its my own fault - I have been having odd neuro symptoms for months, but been putting off visiting the GP - then I get really ill the day my parents go on holiday, so dh has to rush home from work, fetch the boys from school and dump them on his parents (who never every babysit normally) and rush me and dd an hour's drive across the city to hospital. Blooming 4 hour wait to be seen as well. Twasn't good.

It was my birthday last Sunday and we had a quiet day at home thanks to the torrential rain. The dcs and dh made and decorated a cake for me and dh did a lovely roast dinner.

Started my new health plan yesterday (before the a&e thing). Am eating super healthily and managed to walk 3.5 miles in the morning - not bad for an old bird who hasn't done any exercise for a year. I'm not going to tell you how much I weigh though - suffice it to say I sobbed for half an hour after getting off the scales and have never weighed this much in my life. Sad Still, it was just the kick up the backside I needed and has made me determined to do it this time - have joined a support thread with weekly weigh-ins and everything! Shock

Sorry to hear you are poorly MissJ. Holiday sounds like just what you need.
N sounds lovely. Both my boys were like that - perfectly happy to be left at nursery, despite never having been to pre-school. I have a feeling dd is going to be the opposite. Hmm

Hi tea. Was it the big PIL trip, or a holiday?

Oh Tink, poor you. Nothing worse than tooth/nerve pain. I think I should go back and have me root canal out, as its been giving me gip, but I am far too much of a coward. Blush

We've spent the morning debating the merits of and researching different things for sleeping on when we go camping. The dcs get the camper and we are relegated to the sleeping pod in the awning. Hmm

I got dd a beautiful little raincoat bnwt off ebay. Its an M&S one, blue with white spots and a lovely Cath Kidston-esque cotton lining - she looks far too cute in it. Grin

Hellooooooooooooooo! Anybody theeeeeeere?

Just passing by. We really aren't doing very well with this thread these daysare we? Must all be off having a rl of something. Grin

Not much news here. Went shopping today to spend my birthday vouchers and return a necklace I was bought but would never wear (with the gift giver's permission of course). Managed to buy myself three sets of undies in Bravissimo, plus one of their new Pepperberry tops and a lovely new watch in place of the necklace, which was on sale down to £50 from £100. Am almost too scared to wear the watch, I've never owned anything other than cheapie basic watches before.

Felt really odd spending money on myself - I almost couldn't bring myself to do it - fortunately Mum was there to give me a stern talking to. They specifically bought vouchers for Bravissimo and proper jewellery from a jewellers to stop me from spending my birthday money on the dcs. Crafty strategy and one that obviously works! Grin

tink raincoats in june? Noooooo! Bet they look super cute in them.
GA how's life with two then? Is it all settling down a bit? My mantra was 'early days, early days' (still is!) and it does get less crazy. You're sounding very chilled anyway.
Moose neuro thing sounds nasty, good that they are checking it out properly.

WAVES to everyone/ anyone else reading this poor neglected thread!

Poor Ness has been in hospital all week after developing horrible lump on her neck - infected lymph node which didn't respond to antibiotics, so eventually had to be drained under general anaesthetic yesterday - all a bit scary for me, but we are home now and it should be fine now, she just needs some painkillers and the district nurse will visit each day to change her dressing. Of course seeing some of the kids on the ward made me realise how lucky I am. Thought of you too hkz and all you've been thru with J - how is he these days? Thought of poor edgar too. Anyway... am going to try to relax and chill out for a few days now - so pleased to be back in my own bed with baby girl snuggled up against me as I type Smile

Tree! How the devil are you? Hope all is well in the Tree household.

MissJ, poor little N and how scary for you. Ds2 had a little op when he was a few weeks old and I found it really scary and upsetting. Glad she's back home and on the mend.

I am trying to lose weight and improve my health by walking and eating super healthily at the moment, have lost 8 pounds so far - 46 to go! Shock

Dh told me at lunchtime that he's decided to take our finances in hand and will be working out a strict budget for us from this month onwards. Can't say I'm happy about it, but it desperately needs to be done. Sad
