pmsl Dog. Hi everyone.

I have painted pic and put on profile. Let me know if ok. Am planning to put a frame around it, then attach/write our messages on the back. I'm afraid I can't remember who has her address.. sorry, brain pretty useless after work, kids and in laws!

It's absolutely beautiful 120 and it's made me cry. Just perfect.

GotArt · 13/04/2011 16:33

Lovely... I have an address for the quilt stuff, but that's it.

Lenni · 14/04/2011 20:19

Stopping in to wave, am still reading on and off. Don't get time to fit everything in a day at the moment. Good to hear you are all well though, and the babies are growing - both in and out.

MissJ - I don't think I'm going to make it down south until the summer unfortunately, tried to find a way round plans (just to see your new babe!!) but have to work one day next week which makes it pretty impossible. But hell or high water won't stop me come the summer Grin - Pat, we need to confer! Need to pick your brains though... was thinking of booking a festival this year, as has been too long, what is Green Man like? It's a straight choice between Latitude, Green Man and Bestival. With Latitude currently front runner. I'd love to go to Glastonbury for old times sake but tickets will be hard work (although some being released this week) and would mean begging a day off work... next to impossible! I can't go to any near us as DH works a lot of them, so def would not be the chilled out family holiday I'm looking for! Any other suggestions anyone?

GotArt · 15/04/2011 04:16

Short bitch... we have elections coming up. I'm continually surprised at the level of ignorance by Canadians on how the Canadian system works... some truly believe we vote for a Prime Minister. Hmm No wonder we are in the shit that we are. Bloody hell. If I hear one more person say they are voting Green because they are the underdogs, I'm going to wring their neck too.

missjackson · 15/04/2011 08:45

My vote is obviously green man lenni but latitude sounds fab too. GM is 10 mins drive away from me and I've got a ticket. Kids area is great (are you bringing them?) and it's really small so easy to walk from one side to the other. Plus lovely river Usk to laze by and paddle in if it gets very hot. Music is all quite laid back. Would be ace if you came too! But Glastonbury must be amazing. My Mum took us as kids and I've always wanted to go back. You could always try to get tickets and then sell if you decide otherwise, keep your options open.

GA we get the same sort of ridiculous comments here too in the run up for an election. It really puts you off even bothering.

Waves to everyone else. Suspected reflux here with LO so have had 2 nights of not much sleep - she's fine as long as I keep her upright, and she wants little and often feeds - so while she slumbers happily on my chest, it's not so restful for me! Have gaviscon from doctor so will give that a try.

tinkloveseastereggs · 15/04/2011 09:15

miss j - oh no for reflux!!

quiet day here with girlies

hackneyzoo · 15/04/2011 14:39

lenni GM and Latitude are both great, especially with DCs... go to both! The backdrop to the GM is stunning, am very Envy of MissJ's location!

Missj bummer about the reflux, DD has it but its got lots better since she hit 6 weeks. tried the gaviscon but was really hard to get her to take it. ?I spent a lot of time as a human bed in the early days, but it did get better. When are you in London next...we should introduce N and H!

just did first bus ride into town by myself with all 3, wasn't very relaxing but we made it!

Had a really horrible near miss yesterday, was on the motiorway and there was a large log that fell in front of my car on fast lane, |I had to go over it and it blew my tyre and we ended up swerving accross all 3 lanes. Luckily it happened by the services and I steered it in. Had both dds in the car, we were so lucky there was no one behind us, very scary.

DD1's b'day party on sunday, I have sold out and bought her a cake from m&s, dh is workin g flat out and I am up to see my dad the whole time. Wish me luck with a house full of 3 and 4 year olds!

hope everyone else is good...have read all but retained little!

moosemama · 15/04/2011 18:11

Hi

Just popping in, have read but not retained. Am having a few weird health issues, which are making it difficult for me to keep up and read at the moment, but I am trying.

120, the card is beautiful, am I too late to pm you my message? If not, is it ok if I do it tomorrow - I wouldn't be able to come up with anything half decent this evening.

HKZ Shock at motorway incident - well done for keeping it together - I would have lost it I think.

You are very sensible, I wish I'd bough ds1 a cake for his birthday last weekend. The one I made was a total disaster because I was too ill, but still insisted on making it for him, because I'd made a promise. Fortunately, he saw the funny side, as it was a pokemon and he decided that it just looked like it had been in a pokemon battle bless him. Grin I have another blooming pokemon cake to do for ds2 for Monday as well. Fortunately this one is just a big pinky/purple blob with eyes, so I think I can manage that. Grin

treedelivery · 15/04/2011 18:48

Hello, am drowing in work but thinking of you all.

I'll pm you 120 but may be too late too?

Off to work now but I intend to try catch up tomorrow.

treedelivery · 15/04/2011 18:48

Thank God you are ok HKZ Shock

treedelivery · 15/04/2011 18:51

That painting is amazing 120. Well done you. If someone did something like that for me I'd be so so moved.
I think EPPM has her address I have EPPM on fb if you do not by the way.

Well done again x

tinkloveseastereggs · 15/04/2011 22:01

Hi everyone else

Girls driving me nuts today kept whinging
Dh meeting friends at wknd

GotArt · 15/04/2011 22:47

Good gracious HKZ Thank goodness everyone is ok!

We decided to have a meet up at the a military station playgroup but man, it sucked ass. They clearly get no funding for it, sad state our Canadian military is. We ended up at Tumblebums. $8, but worth it. Spent a lot of time running DD to the toilet for a 'poopoo potty' until she finally went. She probably feels it coming on but kids don't like to sit and wait so.. back and forth. I'm going to get some underpants and start to leave the house with her diaper on. Daring. Grin

Made bread yesterday. DH was kind and said 'its a little dense. Will be good for french (eggy) toast.' lol

Well, off for a nap. Waves to everyone

120 · 16/04/2011 10:05

Morning everyone, sorry keep skipping in and out and not reading. Glad to hear you are ok HZ, that is terrifying.

Thanks for the lovely comments on the painting. Can someone set up an FB message thread for everyone to put their comments on there, and moosey you can PM me, then everything will be in the same place? I'll then send it to Tree and she can send it on.
