A few first birthdays left, then we're full tilt into walking/talking and a mountain of mischief Smile

Oh, for sure we're getting near the full thread... IC are you ready to start a new one? Grin

fc sorry to hear your dd is poorly and that your bank holiday weekend is shorten.

CS men are the best one to whinge that they're ill but don't really see that we are and need a rest. Hopefully you and dd2 will be on the mend soon.

Our beautiful weather seems to have vanished overnight, cloudy and grey it's over here Sad. I though we may go to the beach...

PA what a great trip. As said previously, everything will be fine and you, Dh, DD and future LO will all be fine and happy. Smile

Happy weekend to everybody else

Sorry to hear about others being ill... Sad Hope you all get well soon. Seems so unfair to have a few days off/away and feel ill. Dh has been totally out for the count, too, with a high fever (probably has whatever dd2 had last weekend) and dd1 has come down with D&V. I may have to eat all those chocolate Easter eggs myself... Wink Dd2 keeps screeching because her canines are still pushing through and hurting her. And all this with beautiful sunshine and 26 degrees... we haven't even left the house today yet and I have told my brother not to visit tomorrow because he's in the last stages of his PhD and can't afford time off ill if he catches something off us. Not quite the Easter we were planning but hey, it could be worse.
Happy Easter egg hunting everyone Smile

DD woke up at 6am today, that's like a normal time Grin

She woke up a few times, one resettle at 9:30 (I was watching a program so didn't want to feed her yet [bublush] and two feeds (10:30 and 3:00), not too bad overall. We are down to two feeds now, not sure whether to supplement or not. She has milk in her breakfast but don't know how much total she should have.

sorry that there are so many poorlies. I've put a link to a google map of our road trip on my fb now as well. Everyday I'm a little closer to believing we'll actually leave in August. The disgust from my boss and the next person down about my being pg is almost unbearable so any tips on surviving the next 10 weeks will be greatly appreciated.

Oh PA your work situation sounds awful. If things get too much I'd put my health and sanity first and get someone to sign me off sick towards the end ... Sad You don't owe them anything!! And their behaviour is totally unacceptable.

I have 10 days of paid sick leave I could take. But I would be shooting myself in the foot, I'm on the verge of getting results in/using several new techniques. I'm trying to focus on that, just wish I was the kind of person who could ignore it. Thankfully there is someone else like me so I'm not alone in the struggling part. There are a couple of guys who can stay objective. Anyway, I just need to focus on our amazing road trip. Last working day 30th June

Take those 10 days at the end (before your last days).

DS has been in a funny mood today - happy, tantruming, grumpy, happy... Confused Tiring for me. We're planning going to a steak restaurant tomorrow night which will be interested as DS is normally in bed by 6.30pm at the latest. Hmm

Hello everyone! We're back in Madrid after a very pleasant sojourn with my mum. DD's overnight sleep took a bit of a tumble the last couple of nights, but it was still a lot better than I feared it would be. Although it was great to be at my mum's, it wasn't the most relaxing holiday ever as DH and I had to be more vigilant than usual with DD owing to my mum's place being totally un-toddler-proof. I think we'll spend this weekend doing very little while DD has the run of our flat with a more relaxed level of parental supervision...

I'm very sorry to hear about all the illness going round. I really hope all LOs, DHs and indeed those of you who've been struck by various lergies all get better VERY SOON. I've just got over a head cold, but it wasn't too bad and it doesn't look like DH and DD have caught it, thankfully.

Good for you wrt the road trip, PA - how exciting! I'm sorry to hear your colleagues are behaving like arses. I think you're making the right decision getting out of there. Have faith, I'm sure things will work out for you.

Right....new thread required? Okey doke, I'll get onto it pronto...
