tsc camel toe and 6 tits!!! mmmm sexy!!! i know someone through in laws who works at british gas and they are really family minded they do family events each year and are really accomodating if her daughter is ill or has something that childcare cant cover. Grin at speling mistakes, like the film the pursuit of happyness!!
am carrying on with group, dh is there for his 1 off session tonight, only 2 more weeks of it after half term, spoke to mum and dh about it why ive been so upset about today, i have worked out its guilt, feeling guilty about how i feel and its effects on people feel a lot better for talking it through. when it finishes i plan on going to a mums and tots, but L enjoys creche so much he really beams i was wondering weather i could put him in one for a few hours once a week? think it does him good rather than looking at my mug all day!!

WhatSheSaid · 16/02/2011 19:24

tsc my sister is a childminder in Chorlton and used to be the manager of a nursery nearby, 25 yrs working with kids and is v lovely (obviously I would say that!). Initials of nursery were KA if that's the same one you're looking at...she went back to childminding so she could be around for her dd after school, don't think she has vacancies though (and it could be a bit awkward if you wanted to come on here to moan about something she had/hadn't done Grin)

Chulita · 16/02/2011 19:29

cake as if I have lumps and bumps - hurrumph

tsc Grin you know if you get that they're going to really want you! (although I can't imagine you looked as bad as you say)

DesperateHousewife20 · 16/02/2011 19:32

Putting my ipod in the freezer didnt work either :(

Yeah I'm Envy of you considering that dress chulita, if I tried to wear that all you'd see is back fat, nice.

memphis hope you're feeling a bit better.

i believe 'gawjus' is yoof speak these days rather than a mis-spelling. I think.

glad it went well tsc! I reckon you should go for it if you get it. Frankie would soon get used to you not being around and he'd do fine.

Glad to hear people recommending nurseries over childminders. J is going to go to the nursery in the sure start centre across the road which has an excellent OFSTED rating etc - it seems great but I have been worrying about putting a one year old in a busy noisy frantic nursery rather than a nice quiet childminder's. I'm sure he'll do fine - the baby room is less manic, but it's all open plan so still very loud.

Chulita · 16/02/2011 20:14

I have no idea what will look good on me, I live in t-shirt/jeans so a dress is a new thing. I may well buy it and disgust myself with the back fat/hip ripples etc but we'll see. And the wedding isn't til June (which is when we're hoping to start ttcing again) so I can lose this freaking stone before then hopefully.

dh sorry that didn't work, that's the best idea I had...

tsc not an easy situation - I think I'd go for it but be ready to drop it if I ended up out of pocket.

Where's dylthan got to?

I've booked a new 'do' on saturday, what should I get done? I've got a nothing cut at the mo so really could have anything I suppose.

Chulita · 16/02/2011 20:20

Sad DH and I have been up 5 times in the last 90 mins since L went to bed. She's just scratching herself stupid and keeps crying. Her arms and legs are just one red, bleeding, rough mass and there's nothing we can do. We've goo'd her, given her anti-histamine and calpol and there's nothing else we have in our armoury to tackle this. The first appointment we could get is tomorrow morning to see a GP but I know all they'll do is give us yet another cream which won't work. We've been waiting 4.5 months for a dermatologist appt but in the meantime the poor girl's falling apart. I hate being so fricking helpless

oh chulita i feel so bad for you and lucy. it def sounds as tho she's reacting to something - have you thought about trying to cut out the obvious things it could be? milk or egg are prob the most likely from what i've heard.

and huge apologies for my 'lumps and bumps' comment Blush i was cooking my dinner and it crossed my mind what i said was rather rude. what i was trying to say is that for me: my figure is ok and i do wear dresses lot but it actually looks better naked than in thin jersey type material where it clings around knicker and bra overhang.

tsc def sounds worth considering. altho i hate the idea of going back to work and leaving A, i know i loved working part-time (20 hours) when i went back after felix. as mlic says, it's the best of both worlds - i felt like 'me' again but also felt like i was around enough to be with F more than i wasn't. if they'll let you postpone til F is 1 year+ then even better. BG are known for being great employers. btw: do they do child care vouchers?

Oh mlic meant to say I think putting E in nursery for 1 day is a fantastic idea. My life got dramatically easier when A started kindy last November, it's just 2.5 hours a day and only 7.5 hours a week but it made a HUGE difference, just having a couple of hours a day when I am only having to think about 1 child, get to watch crappy TV with a cuppa do stuff round the house. A is not that much hard work for a 3 year old but even the best 3 year old is quite full on for 13 hours a day.

DesperateHousewife20 · 16/02/2011 20:57

Not to worry, Ive accepted that my ipod is no more!

DesperateHousewife20 · 16/02/2011 21:02

LOLLOLOLOL at tsc having a knob! That made me laugh loads Grin

Chulita · 16/02/2011 21:05

cake I'm not offended at all I'm notoriously hard to offend as it happens Grin what with your input and tsc 's 'knob' comment I think I'll look for something else. I love halternecks but really, after 2 children perhaps I'd better go for something in a more solid cotton.

tsc if you don't mind asking her that would be really good, if she can get hold of samples of stuff to try we might find something that works. I'll try and get pics of it tomorrow although it never seems to come out the same on camera.

mlic we've been referred via bupa too but that was only last week, I'm going to ring them tomorrow and hassle.

I'm off to bed, last night was a cracker and judging by L's performance so far tonight will be no different. Hard to get angry with them though when you can see just how much pain they're in Sad

kkfairybrains · 16/02/2011 21:33

Tsc you're hilarious Grin that really cracked me up!
I think the spanks type things are brill chulita and i wear one most days as it makes things look smooth!
I think it'd be brill to get back to work tsc. And as you say it would even things out at home. If i don't hear anything about college soon i'm looking for a job.im really starting to get bored even with working from home.
I actually heard of a baby group near me. Do you think it would be too late to start going now? or would they all be there with newborns?
E is a bit iff in herself today. Her nappies have been barely wet even the night one last night was very light this morning. And she had diarrioah (i know thats spelt completely wrong-sorry mlic!) this afternoon and this evening. No temperature though and she's in good enough form but quite clingy which isn't like her. I'll just see in the morning how she is. There's a d&v bug going round so hope she's not getting that
looked at that website and the cars are so bloody expensive on it! any cheaper ones?

kkfairybrains · 16/02/2011 21:39

Oh and cakes i keep meaning to say well done to felix! brill news!
Chulita i wish i had some advice for L :( Dp said when his brother used to get bad breakouts if ezcema they used to wrap him in bandages with emulsifying ointment and plenty of baths to keep it clean. The poor little thing it's horrible for her :(

I've found you all Smile

We've been busy decorating and moving rooms around this week so haven't had time to fart let alone mn. I think we're finally getting somewhere now though.

So how is everyone? What have I missed?
