Oh hello, vibes aplenty coming your way.

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 10:12

Auld- thinking of you. Have some strawberry cake stuff... (I was trying to figure out why the cake reminded me of childhood, and then remembered Mom used to make us this when we were young) mmmm

Baring Baby vibes (wooWOOwooWOO) coming your way (mine will take a little longer to get to you because of the distance) so tomorrow morning seems likely Wink

excited we have a scan and that it's near by as it'll help ease the weekened tensions :) (thank you for thinking of me everyone) Not sure about finding out the sex Grin ...tempted oh so tempted this time...I would really love to have a boy to have the 'replacement set' (I've kinda already chosen the boy names too -without consulting dh Wink) BUT having a girl would mean not having to buy anything new which would save tons of money... Honestly I can only imagine holding a girl when I do imagine the baby, but it's probably because I had Moo.

Hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy the weather. :) It sounds like it's been lovely back home. :)
We're all very excited to be going home next week. Hopefully we can manage to relax, see family and friends and SHOP! Wink

Feeling upbeat today (got a good night's sleep and have had an indulgent morning with a little cream coffee and an eggy breakfast) I also seem to have lost more fat again! Tho I've not lost any weight. :)
Been half following dh's no carb/low insulin diet for 6 days (7th day you can have carbs/high insulin causing foods) i.e. I've just been cutting down on bread/cereal, and other simple/refined carbs, -replacing them with legumes- and cutting back on juice, but I've not been cutting back on the dairy like they suggest- it seems to be helping. According to the book he's been reading having an eggy breakfast with a large glass of water can often lead to weight loss... Dunno. He's converted, but I said I'm not convinced it's a good long term plan. But it'd be nice to be a little healthier after this pregnancy so that I can be more active with the kids. :) And this time I'll know to watch out the low iron so I should be one step ahead.

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 10:41

dh vetoed my names :(

BabiesBolat · 14/04/2011 12:15

Yay for upbeat bebe! Crikey I am living on bread, dairy and juice at the moment so I'm gonna be huge!!

Vezzie, COME ON BABY! Have you got a bathroom you could rip up? Can vouch for it's success Grin. I'm very excited for you and hope you post pictures up as soon as baby vezzie arrives so we can coo!

DH has no choice on one of ort names as we are having twins and the only history of twins in my family is my nan (mums mum) and the babies are due (although won't arrive) on her birthday, so if we have a girl it is being named after her. Boys we will fight like cat and dog. I have a girls and boys name sorted so just have to persuade DH (so far he has mildly admitted defeat on the girls name and said no to the boys name but we will see!)

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 12:24

BB you are slender in the first place, so probably need the extra energy...I on the other hand am quite over weight and can use the slimming.
My hope is dh will be like after Moo and just say, 'I don't know you chose' and then I'll go with my choice. Wink

Schulte · 14/04/2011 12:56

Sorry I haven't been on for ages... but can someone give me some advice on playground bullies please?

Schulte · 14/04/2011 13:02

Twins! Wow. BB. Congratulations!

PuzzleRocks · 14/04/2011 13:22

Bebe I love Conrad, and William is classic. Not sure about Bran but Bram is quite nice.

PuzzleRocks · 14/04/2011 13:23

Carter is good but I tend to think of the unstoppable sex machine Grin. That or Michael Caine.

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 13:25

Dh vetoed Conrad (the barbarian)

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 13:28

Not positive abt William now as dh pointed out we have a cousin William and another of the cousins have that middle name too...but I like the rhythm of it...it's one of the reasons Moo has her names, because liked the rhythm of the names when they were said... (plus William has a pleasingly similar look to the way Moo's second name looks...) nutty I know...

PuzzleRocks · 14/04/2011 13:32

Oh Schulte that must have been awful. It's dreadful that you felt powerless to intervene but I think it was probably best. I can well imagine the reception you would have got. I hope those mothers wake up tomorrow with hideous genital warts.

BoffinMum · 14/04/2011 13:53

It's Conan the Barbarian, not Conrad!
I very much like the name Conrad. It is a very cool name. WinkWinkWink

BoffinMum · 14/04/2011 13:55

Moo, if you just go up to people and express the same sort of polite interest in them that you do on here, perhaps working your way up to inviting them to afternoon coffee and cake with one of your lovely cheesecakes, you will find you have many friends. Germans are actually more welcoming and hospitable than many English people in many cases, once you have started a conversation, so if you get out there to toddler groups and so on, you will find yourself bonding more quickly than usual, I wager. Trust me on this.

BabiesBolat · 14/04/2011 14:10

Schultes we had that a lot when we visited friends in a not so nice part of portsmouth and I told the kids off really loudly which made their parents embarrassed and then they told them off too. But I have a very bad temper anyway and can't bite my tongue! Course they could have knifed me so I was taking a risk ;)

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 15:52

I know it's Conan, but Dh says Conrad is too similar Wink

BB I love you and your assertive ways. I wish I were more like you :)

Wish babies just came with names tatoo'd on their bums...

PuzzleRocks · 14/04/2011 15:58

Like Cabbage Patch dolls Grin

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 16:03

lol exactly -tho the only name on their bums is Xavier something or other

BabiesBolat · 14/04/2011 16:20

Haha! Yes DH says grumpiness but i prefer assertiveness! Wink

On sunday I told a child off for putting a float on K's head in the pool (by accident) but through messing around and being stupid with his friends and I was probably a bit too assertive. However in my defence K had just been shoved under the water and trapped under a float. However even DH said that my 'if you do that to my son again, I'll drown you' was a bit too harsh on the 11 year old child!!! Blush

ooh baby tattoos! I think they kind of do you know. They just suit names. You all remember how much I hated the K's name but he came out and it was just his bloody name! So annoying (mostly because I had to back track with DH though!!! Grin)

BoffinMum · 14/04/2011 17:05

BB you may have to get the twins tattooed so you can tell them apart LOL

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 17:55

Grin @Boff

Moo is in bed already! I hope she stays there! My house is a mess... but if she stays there I can clean it up!

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 17:58

nope didn't stay

bebemooneedsabreak · 14/04/2011 19:14

We've managed to agree on Names! after only 1 day! bowl me over with a feather!

Schulte · 14/04/2011 20:09

Well BB I half expected them to pull out a knife. This is Surrey. For Heaven's sake.

BabiesBolat · 15/04/2011 09:00

Happy Birthday Hugo and Isaac - crikey I bet Gim/Ju has baked up a treat today!
