Oh is this it Jetli? You have gone quiet so maybe it is! How exciting, I can't quite imagine it.....but very exciting all the same! Max turned 19 months the other day and I was thinking that when ds1 was 19 months I was 7 months pregnant with DD. Hoe strange, he seemed very grown up but Max still seems like a baby!! DS1 was already in a bed (needed the cot for the baby)! and also you could have a proper conversation with him. Max still isn't saying much but he understands EVERYTHING!!!!! He can be such a little toad!

We had quite a morning, tantrums galore! It is so exhausting, had to battle him into the car screaming on the school run, after the school run and after the dog walk, felt like I had done a days work and it was only 9.15am!

Anyway, must crack on with my chores, I am trying to sort the house out by doing 15 minutes of decluttering a day (can't fit in more than that and 15 minutes seems managable) have done quite well so far and we are looking much tidier!

Hope you are all ok, I hope Jetli gets her dp to post for her quickly!!!!!

QueenFee · 15/02/2011 15:44

ooh exciting jetli...

Patchy it's funny fin seemed more of a baby at 3 than alfie does now!
Missp one born makes me broody strange how we want to put ourselves through pain!

Patchy: We had quite a morning, tantrums galore! It is so exhausting, had to battle him into the car screaming on the school run, after the school run and after the dog walk, felt like I had done a days work and it was only 9.15am! made me laugh in sympathy. I don't have dog to walk but some days it just feels up hill all the way.

Currently becca and Beth fight ALL the time. I can't leave them alone for a minute. they are say behind me and both colouring but actually it's becca that makes most of the trouble! She screams and wants ALL the pens to herself! Between sentences I am refereeing!

Bath time in a mo, just waiting for the heating to warm hte room so it's not like a fridge.

Hope all ok with jetli so brave to have another after 18 months! I waited 3 years :) gotta go, becca bringing me her picture to inspect,.

QueenFee · 16/02/2011 22:06

keep checking for news of ma jetli ...
Hope all is well

babyblue4 · 16/02/2011 23:37

Hello Ladies :)

Just dropping in to say Hi. Good luck Jetli, hope you are doing well :)

Life is chaos at the moment. Because working full time with 4 children, a cat and a husband aren't work enough, I have taken on cake decorating as well. DD1 and I are officially starting a little side venture, so my oven has been going none stop testing recipes. This is not helping me to lose weight! LOL. Its been a good creative release for me, as well as giving me time to spend with DD1 one on one.

Hope everyone is doing well. I keep lurking but will try to post again soon. xx

Evening all Grin

Baby Milly Hope was born Tuesday at 13:32 weighing 8lb 13oz Grin

The news is soooo late coming to you because my BP stayed raised after labour so I ended up spending a hideous 2 nights in hospital & we came home this afternoon. I'm shattered - felt a million dollars after the birth. But two nights in maternity bay 3 has done me in Sad Am so relieved to be back at home.

Patchybob · 17/02/2011 20:18

Oh that is the best news and what a wonderful name, feel all goose bumpy reading that. well done my lovely and welcome to the world Milly Hope. Let us know all the details once you have settled in at home. So glad that all is well and that you are home. Big hugs and kisses to you all xxxx

Phoenix · 17/02/2011 20:39

alibobble · 18/02/2011 20:47

Congratulations Jetli. What a lovely name. Glad you are home now.

JetLi · 19/02/2011 12:42

Hi all - doing OK - masses of engorgement so had to break out the pump at 4 this morning - poor little Milly had no chance of latching on! Milk has come in so much quicker this time around & we've had some belting poo-nami's already!! Shock

They are still monitoring my BP. Was a bit high this morning but MW chatted to me for a bit & then re-tested & was happier. I think she was trying to take my mind off it all. Then she sprung another one on me just before she left & she was happy with that one too. So we'll see how it goes. Trying very hard not to be a complete mardy bum about it all because I've got to look after myself before I can't take care of these girlies haven't I? So just in case I'm now washing all my hospital stuff and going to semi re-pack my bag, for if I need to go back in for some treatment. My hands are swelling up a bit occasionally, and so are my feet, but not getting any headaches or flashing lights.

Going to try & put a piccie up of Milly on my profile Grin

JetLi · 19/02/2011 13:02

Am also trying to supress an overwhelming urge to have another baby Blush

This is despite repeating over & over to DP that he was NOT to le me do this again throughout labour & delivery Blush

Am I normal???????!

alibobble · 19/02/2011 19:44

Hi Jetli

Hope your blood pressure settles soon. I was well suprised how quick my milk came in with becca (2nd time round) I guess your body knows what it's going so much more. Take it easy and don't try and be super mum! It's not possible.

can't comment on the wanting more babies cos I saw my little family and knew it was complete hence having my op so no more babies for me.

Becca v unhappy today with teeth. Beth has limped to half term. Bless her school takes so much out of her still. She won't be 5 till summer hence not bothering with swimming lessons at the moment. (not htat i could fit them in)

Hi to all lurkers etc Must go and get a Brew

Misspaella · 21/02/2011 07:14

Jetli Milly is gorgeous. I had a nose at the photo. You are blessed. Smile

Ali we didn't start swimming lessons until DS1 turned 5 but DD started at 3 with him. It works because they have each other to feel confident with iyswim. I haven't even taken Tristan to a pool yet. That is on my "to do list" once DD starts reception this Sept. I can't right now as have to be back at 11:50 during the week to collect her from nursery. It really bogs down my day that mid day school run.

Has everyone has a good weekend?

Ours was so so. It was such a damp weekend that we didn't get up to much.

QueenFee · 21/02/2011 19:17

my 2 both started together for swimming as it seemed unfair of me to give cerys lessons and fin have to watch when he couldnt go at all due to adult child ratios. I must start taking Alfie...
Jetli i could have had another straight after Alfie. However now i am starting to get my life back so to speak then I know I will find it more difficult when and if no 4 finally arrives.
We have had a lovely day today took the train into manchester from my mils and went to the museum of science and industy. I am knackard now though!

alibobble · 22/02/2011 13:25

oooh QF was MOSI ok? saw on a leaflet they have a lego thing coming up. was it on yet? was fancying taking beth.

QueenFee · 22/02/2011 17:01

no lego thing was some nintendo thing on but would have had to pay extra for it so gave it a miss good day out though but you do fly through with a 4 and 1 yr old with you Grin

Misspaella · 24/02/2011 13:23

I have been having the worst half term. Why do I sometimes feel like I can't cope?

On another note...
Bit of a question to those with older DC's. Do you have a games console and if so at what age did your eldest DC get one? We are debating getting the Wii for DS1 when he turns 6 but I am not happy that the younger DC's will be exposed to gaming so young. At the same time I don't want DS1 to feel left out. A lot of his peers have the Wii at home and even DS Lites. We would of course limit the usage but it will be inevitable it will be played with when DD is around (3, 4 in June) and of course Tristan. Any thoughts on this would be welcome.

Definitely need the Wine tonight.

alibobble · 24/02/2011 19:39

miss you're not alone not enjoying all he fun of half term! I'm enjoying not having the school run but not he constant fighting.

Just started letting Beth use my DS but told her she can't have one. Pete has a Wii and lets her play mario kart with him and sports but not on her own. I guess becca will be exposed to it younger than I would ever have let becca. I don't feel it's too bad as it's not "hers" as it were, it's Pete's and he lets her play on it when he chooses rather than it being hers and feeling like we're limiting time on something that is her toy. If Pete didn't have one I wouldn't buy one for her until she was much older. It happens to be in the house and so we let her play occasionally but I wouldn't buy her one if it wasn't pete's, same as I told her she could borrow my DS occasionally but she can't have one of her own.

In other news.... becca refusing to sleep again. And beth going to the toilet about 300 times a night (well 5/6) so is massively tired. Not getting much chance to recharge her batteries this half term. Oh dear :(
