cinnamon Harlyn has only rolled from back to side or front to side and hasn't managed to do a full turn yet. It might be because he's so big?????? He loves to try and sit up though by lifting his head. And when sitting, I can loose for about 10 seconds before he leans too far over. I think he will sit unsupported before he rolls as he is quite broad and sturdy.

cinnamongreyhound · 15/02/2011 19:48

I thought so too JessemyParkson about this Brew

I often think about them Lumpybananapuree, did you try any Annabel Karmel recipes yet? I did the fish in cheese sauce with peas and carrots as Luke has to start fish this week for his EAT study food. It was really easy and he loved it, I's happily eat it too!

Ds1 did exactly the same JodeyBogeyPicker, he rolled once, sat the next day and never rolled again! Luke gets up onto his side and desperate to sit up.

I'm feeling a rubbish mummy this evening :(. Ds1 was fine this morning so didn't make the dr's appointment after all and even sent him to preschool. When I picked him up the first thing he said to me was 'mummy I cold', he didn't eat anything and has really high temp and awful cough again. Wish I'd taking him anyway now, not sure what to do in the morning if he seems fine again. Think I'll keep him home from school though.

I thought babies normally roll front to back first Hmm Orlaith first rolled front to back just after xmas, but only rolled back to front for the first time on saturday. She then did it a couple of times on sunday and monday, but today... well... I have spent most of the day moving things out of the way so she doesn't roll onto them or grab them and stopping her from rolling off things. Changing her is now a nightmare and I'm definitely going to have to keep more ontop of the hoovering now she can roll straight off her playmat!

A few of the mums in the baby group did make quiet comments to each other today about Orlaith rolling around so much. It made me feel proud despite the fact it has absolutely nothing to do with me!

Am I going mad of was Brew more like a cup and saucer before?! Confused

MammyG I'm thinking of you today. I wasn't on the antenatal thread this time last year, I only found out I was pg a year ago on saturday, so didn't realise it had been that long. I hope you're ok xx

saoirse86 · 15/02/2011 19:50

jessemy and frigg I thought that too about the MN logo. In fact now is the first time I've looked at it properly and realised what it's supposed to be! Grin

Thanks Saoirse & Banana
Today not too bad - yesterday was worse as he had died very early in the morning today so it was more all the things we were going thru yesterday a year ago saying goodbye etc. The weather was absolutely atrocious today so suited the mood and just hung out with the kids and let them work their magic. Although I wasnt a very patient mammy today Blush
cinnamon Phoebe isnt doing anything! and shows no interest in doing anything either! not rolling or sitting but she has found her voice bigtime! and makes such racket when the boys are playing -reduced us to giggles. The boys were the same with rolling, crawling etc. Showed no interest or attempts at anything then just did it! I reckon they practice on the qt!!

so whats all this making stuff people??

Also (drum roll) have decided to take unpaid leave and not go back to work until september!! Im mad - I can in no way afford it, we will be living off bread and spaghetti hoops but I will be happy! Actually my mom is going to help as she agrees that I need to get my health in order etc before I head back. Major relief and can just relax for another spell anyway.

beaditAli · 15/02/2011 21:32

Anyone realize we're RUNNING OUT OF THREAD ???? Arggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh

cinnamongreyhound · 15/02/2011 21:32

Glad the kids cheered you up a bit MammyG and YAY for work! Crazy but a good idea by the sound of all your previous posts Grin. The making stuff is a status from Facebook, if you post it you have to make something for the first 5 people to comment on that status but have to agree to post it as your status. I didn't comment as I am in now way artistic and have no idea what I'd make if someone wanted something from me. Could make cakes but not sure how well they'd travel Wink

saoirse86 · 15/02/2011 21:34

Wow mammyG what a major decision! You'll get over the no money thing if you're happy. Who needs more than bread and spaghetti hoops if they have 3 gorgeous children!!

On a separate note, Brew definitely was a cup and saucer before and there are secret emoticons that aren't on the list, here goes....

Bear Xmas Grin [bsmile]
saoirse86 · 15/02/2011 21:35

oh well, no christmas or burns icons then Sad

cinnamongreyhound · 15/02/2011 21:41

I was looking forward to some valentines ones saoirse86 but they never turned up :( like the little bear though.

Are you up for doing a new one beaditAli or shall we leave it to the professionals? Wink

Off to bed now as I am feeling rubbish, thanks for sharing kids Angry

MammyG · 15/02/2011 21:58

Thanks guys - feel a bit nervous about it but at the same time nice sense of calm has come over me. We are going to try and sell our house (on the market next month if anyone wants to move to ireland!) and we are rebuilding a smaller one so I feel we are doing everything we can but living soooo much in the future, when we have more money, when we can afford it etc and Phoebe is small now! And my head needs the break now not later so big leap! Its only a few weeks in the grand scheme of things but makes all the difference. Plus the spaghetti diet might help with the baby weight! And I have until september to get back into my work clothes so wont have to buy a new wardrobe! (a shaky argument but Im sticking with it!)

MammyG · 15/02/2011 22:00

Also just wanted to add that its been a year since I found all of you. Thanks for all the support throughout the year. It has been a rollercoaster and dont even want to think what it would have been like without you lot to handhold, share and giggle with. Just wished you all lived round here!!! xx

lumpybananapuree · 15/02/2011 22:01

Only 2 who commented on mine re posted so i'm safe!

Ollys only rolled front to back twice. Toby didn't roll till he was 10 months!

mammy glad things are sorting out. I'm going unpaid too. Its scary but you'll do it! your health & your babies are what count!

Ollys picked up on his milk taking. He'd had pear. I think it was that that caused it! think it upset his tummY!

FriggFRIGG · 15/02/2011 22:37

me too banana...its just you and beadit! ive been making them today, though i cannot yet vouch for the quality!Grin
