New halloween inspired thread (in honour of this time of year) to talk about our little jekyll & hydes [hgrin]

Is anyone going to be taking their little ones trick or treating this year? We'll be at MIL's for Halloween and she's already told me she has both Danny and DS1 costumes -so it appears that decision has been made for us Grin

Just stopping by for a quick "hello"! Lovely to see Silvery Moon yesterday and got me wondering what's happening with all the Fab Feb ladies Grin. Will try to give the thread a good read tonight (but will probably end up watching One Born Every Minute Blush - I'm not broody, honest!).

Hope you are all enjoying the start of the Easter hols xxx

dinky... it must have been the kindred spirit connection all right as you've described exactly how A's been. He's been happy enough but very clingy, demanding boob all day, barely eating food and completely back to front with sleep. His mouth hasn't hurt since Saturday (at least when asked he shakes his head) but he developed a nasty cough last night so he's a bit sorry for himself. The wound seems to be healing well though and when he does choose to eat he doesn't seem to have any problems. He also said 'No' and 'Bye' on saturday perfectly clearly which is either the greatest coincidance in history or a sign that the op has helped alreay Grin

MsLucy just popped out No.3! Grin

oooggs · 11/04/2011 19:33

a meet up sounds fun!!!! let me know when it is arranged and I will see what I can do. But 4 children and travelling from Cornwall it is probably doubtful!!!

I have met some multiple mums & some of the April 07 thread.

oooggs · 11/04/2011 19:34

wow thanks for that snippet of info swampster & huge congrats MsLucy Grin - any more details????

dinky that is so cute D calling for J to turn the light on. Bless him.
When are you moving back in then?
mos Woo-hoo!!!!! Grin When do we normally do the meet-up?
SR Hope A gets back to normal quickly Smile
Congrats to MsLucy

dinkystinky · 11/04/2011 22:08

Wow - Danny and A are TOTALLY spiritual twins. Danny's favourite word is no - closely followed by bye - then pink! Go figure!

Great news about MsLucy and no 3 - hope they're all home soon. Oooggs - MsLucy's news is on facebook - nip on there and you'll see!

SM - moving stuff from flat back into house on Friday this week (aargh!) then off on holiday then back into the house from holiday on 25 april (J's birthday!) - stuff out of storage on 26th (when J is off school and DH is at work - planning on putting J and D to work unpacking) then back to work on 27th... for a rest I think.

Sorry MsLucy... had a brain fart last night, meant to blank baby's name out of the post i copied from FB and just leave the other details but A started screaming upstairs and I hit post and ran off and forgot all about it Blush Thanks to whichever one of you reported it, I wouldn't even have spotted it til today!

swampster · 12/04/2011 10:57

Grin Twas me. Meant to fess up but got caught up with wrangling the monkeys.

SummerRain · 12/04/2011 11:13

oooh, fab news MsLucy, hadn't realised you were that far along. Grin

SummerRain · 12/04/2011 13:01

her baby boy was 4 weeks early. He's 6lb something though and her FB status said he probably won't be in hospital for long.

SilveryMoon · 13/04/2011 19:31

Luke has been dummy free all day! It's the first day he's been without it since we got him home from the hospital! he's now gone to bed without it too, fingers crossed it's a good night.
If he goes through without it, I'm binning the lot and that's one job done

SummerRain · 13/04/2011 19:39

Well done Luke... A is still firmly attached to his Blush We didn't have the heart to be strict before the op (thankfully, the post op nurses said he cried when he came out but as soon as they gave him the dummy he was as quiet as a mouse) We'll have to start being strict about it during the day now.

SilveryMoon · 13/04/2011 19:51

That's what I was thinking of doing, just removing it during the day. Didn't plan on it being today, but we went out this morning and it wasn't until we were on the bus that I noticed Luke didn't have it!
He's also been out of the pushchair all day too

oooggs · 13/04/2011 21:06

oh my goodness they are growing up!!!!!!

currently packing the caravan between posts!

SummerRain · 14/04/2011 13:14

That's about the only area where A is a bit ahead... he stopped using the buggy about 6 months ago (thank god, I hate the things)

But he's still attached to the dummy, my boobs, crap sleeper, up til late, refuses to try the potty, still drinks out of bottles baby cups. So we have a fair few battles ahead >

oooggs... where you heading? should be mad fun with all yours in a caravan Grin

oooggs · 14/04/2011 15:30

off to North Wales - all 6 of us in our 6 berth caravan (redundancy purchase), currently stressed as packing with 4 children nagging, running around, complaining, being bored etc etc isn't easy Hmm

I use the pushchair for a speed thing - wouldn't get to school on time if he walked all the way Wink but he would rather walk. Goes to bed fine, sleeps well but has a shouty temper and still on a bottle Blush PFB (precious fourth born) or PLB (precious last born) Wink

SummerRain · 14/04/2011 16:10

We're lucky there, we live across the road from the school and if I'm around town he's still little enough to pick up and carry for short bit when i get bored of toddler pace. I forgot the shouty temper with A.... add that to the list. Although it's improving since we started signing at least.

Hope the weather holds for you for the weekend, it's getting nice here now but was freezing this morning. I suggest packing the kids to bed very early and finshing packing with some Wine this evening Wink

SummerRain · 14/04/2011 16:12

btw... definitely a case of PLB here.... he's being treated like a baby still so he's acting like one too!

SilveryMoon · 14/04/2011 18:02

Oooggs - have fun camping. Sure it'll be fab if you get the packing done :-)

Luke's quite good really, very independent, uses proper cups most of the time. Hates the pushchair as much as I do, but as I don't drive the pushchair is a must. He goes to bed fine, sleeps through, eats well. But has a bad temper. Him and jacob wind each other up constantly and Luke is an awful whinger, drives me crazy!

They've actually both been really good today, have played nicely and have been sharing toys.
Luke still hasn't had a dummy, I am so pleased! The next job will be the nappies

oooggs · 14/04/2011 19:33

thanks girls - the nappies are staying Wink after all the trouble I have had with ds1 & dd (still with dd). Left ds2 until just past his 3rd birthday and he was dry day and night within a fortnight. They other 2!!!!!!! So not bothering until after Christmas unless he starts training himself Grin

oooggs · 15/04/2011 06:42

dts both going to the same school as ds1 Grin I am so relieved!!!
