Too much pressure and too little thread space left me with but one choice so here we are. Let's discuss further the private space because quite honestly the "private" space is not so "private" at the moment. I'm no detective BUT there's only a handful of threads over there and all are beckoning me to read through them. For the moment we are safer here. Like a new model car, we should wait and let the kinks be worked out by the folks that can't WAIT to be part of the "new thing."Smile

TS, I'm not fussed either way about mine Blush she'll only be here 3 days in Oct and Nov then she's getting married in Dec so will be off then as well. I'll slowly phase it right out but there is no contract at all so once she's away having the baby we can sort something else.

luckoftheirish · 25/09/2010 19:14

Ts yes potentially cancelling going to the wedding. We were also invited to party but had accepted wedding first.

Considering getting rid of cm permanently which would mean that I could no longer go for this job as it is an immediate start. I would keep dd2 with me til feb when I could send her to pre school 3 mornings a week at her sisters school.

I will gladly tell the cm and sil they are welcome to eachother.

My cm as u know has just had a week away. Didn't mention tho that it was our villa in Spain she went to free of charge. And this is the thanks I get for it. So sick of people scheming behind my back. It's time to make a stand!!!!

Bet u wished u hadn't asked TS!!! Grin

dizzydixies · 25/09/2010 19:14

TS, our very good friend just got a huge promotion to Virginia Beach - how far is that from you?!?! We've two years in which to manage over to visit him Grin

dizzydixies · 25/09/2010 19:24

that'll be 11hrs then Hmm we could do a dixie family road trip Grin

TwilightSurfer · 25/09/2010 19:27

Lucky I'm very GLAD I asked. I think a stand is necessary. CRAP deserves a shovel! You've been handed a LOAD!!

dizzydixies · 25/09/2010 19:29

how on earth did she manage to go to your villa in spain without you knowing??

TwilightSurfer · 25/09/2010 19:29

Dizzy Virginia Beach is about 11 hours from me. I have family that frequents there a lot (they LIVE in Virginia). We could definitely arrange a meet up if you were that close!

luckoftheirish · 25/09/2010 19:48

Lol dizzy we let her use the villa as a good will gesture!! She has now shat in my face!!!

We could all go to my villa in Spain for a meet up not that it is particularly big but we could squeeze!! Grin Grin

loti obv too late for the wedding but are there any other cms in your area? i'd seriously be looking for a new one if i were you. you are most def not being unreasonable
but... i do feel given sil's history that you need to talk to cm to find out exactly what's been arranged...

TwilightSurfer · 25/09/2010 19:59

Evening all :)

Tweaks - sorry to hear DH is being a Biscuit. Maybe is he is not looking forward to going back to work.

Dizzy - Am working on a half term plan - when are your half term dates. The thought of L in a car for 11 hours sounds just peachy :) :)

LOTI - they both sounds as bad as each other and you will be well shot of them. But Sad about having to give up your chance at a job again.

TS - How is your Saturday going?

tweakers · 25/09/2010 20:05

hiya twilight Smile

ooh those cupcake jars look amazing! what a novel way to do a cake...

tweakers · 25/09/2010 20:09

oops you've got it spot on there, he's even admitted as much! I've been trying to help him as much as possible today but the final straw was when at 6pm he declared he was going upstairs for some peace for a few minutes, leaving me to do DS dinner and feed/settle DD He eventually came down at 7 because a neighbour has popped round to help him with some diy in the shed. i'm too tired to care tbh but i'm really hungry. we're meant to be having curry tonight but not sure i can wait too much longer to eat

fuck it, i'm going to make a sandwich to keep me going!

ooh cyteen is a mrs now Grin I hope she's having a lovely time

TwilightSurfer · 25/09/2010 20:09

TS - they look fab. I haven't posted my mavis cakes yet but I see she just sends the frosting for them to finish off themselves.

Tweaks - please keep your strength up and eat something.

Loti - if I can have a shot of your villa I'll be you're CM Grin
