Too much pressure and too little thread space left me with but one choice so here we are. Let's discuss further the private space because quite honestly the "private" space is not so "private" at the moment. I'm no detective BUT there's only a handful of threads over there and all are beckoning me to read through them. For the moment we are safer here. Like a new model car, we should wait and let the kinks be worked out by the folks that can't WAIT to be part of the "new thing."

In the mean time, I'll see if there's not a PLACE for us around the web.

Got one bit of good news yesterday which is that DP's work are going to be flexible about arrangements for his paternity leave/christmas shutdown. AND they're not going to give him paternity pay, they're going to pay him 90% so that's a big worry lifted :)

S currently napping. He seems to be pushing a bit when it comes to sleep lately. THink it's because of illness followed by 4 hectic days of birthday celebration throwing his routine out the window.

vg it was fun. i ended up holding friend's 10 wk old whilst she changed her toddler's nappy which was interesting! DS was perfectly well behaved and loved the new bikes they had there. ooh and we've been given special permission to stay at that group until christmas (you're meant to move to a different group once LOs are 2yrs old)

well, i'm home alone today with DS and DD. All seems rather calm so far.... we're all dressed at least

Just reread posts and didn't want to give the wrong idea. This thread isn't a NO to the private thread. Quite honestly I like being below the radar. I just put us back here because I really did feel like the other area is getting a lot of prying eyes because it's so new...folks wanting to see "what's so private." Does that make sense? I don't want to offend anyone. That's not my intention at all.

I've fiddled around and missed out on every possible shower opportunity today. Thankfully I don't stink and what's left of yesterday's makeup isn't hideous. Such is the life of a mom.

my dh on the other hand.... he phoned at 6.15 to say that we've got three extras for dinner tonight!! they'll be here at 7, dh'll be home at 7.30/8. ds goes to bed at 7 and dd has been feeding from 7 til 11 every night so far

Dizzy don't worry about D's bumpy forehead, like you say that's what fringes are for. Thor has had some real big eggs on his forehead and he's.... actually that explains a lot

Just realised today that clocks go back in a month, and this means that DS' insistence on waking between 6-6.30 every day will then be between 5-5.30 [fuck] He only napped 10 minutes yesterday and was still up and bouncing at 6...
