Smile

Too much pressure and too little thread space left me with but one choice so here we are. Let's discuss further the private space because quite honestly the "private" space is not so "private" at the moment. I'm no detective BUT there's only a handful of threads over there and all are beckoning me to read through them. For the moment we are safer here. Like a new model car, we should wait and let the kinks be worked out by the folks that can't WAIT to be part of the "new thing."Smile

Cece Why on earth can't he go swimming? It's not in plaster is it?

Oh sh*t, DD's new wardrobe is arriving Friday and she has just cried herself to sleep about losing the old one. Have managed to temnporarily placate without lying about the fact that a Freecycler is coming to collect it tmrw night (she will notice.)
K woke v upset 2hrs ago and doesn't want to be alone (but also happy to poke noses and fondle boobs when he's supposed to be cuddling to sleepHmm.)

Childfree workfree day tmrw - what shall I do that isn't expensive (given it's already costing me £25 CM fee?) Thinking about cracking out my ancient watercolour kit. Might just sit in the car by the sea and paint, knit, listen to R4 with a flask of decaf. Is that v sad? I should be printing more business postcards really.

dizzydixies · 03/10/2010 23:34

Buckets - sounds perfect Smile

trying to keep up ladies but been a long weekend - am off till Sun after tonight so will be back I promise

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2010 02:31

I need HELP! How I dearly wish I had someone to bounce this off of!!!! I am looking at THIS DRESS to wear next weekend to an afternoon wedding in the mountains (where it's cold). I just don't know whether to get it alone or get THE CARDIGAN that goes with it. ARGH! Why did I have to wait till the last minute to shop!!!?!!! I have a black winter coat. The dress without the cardigan looks a tad bit dresser. I have the boots (in black). Hem Haw Hem Haw Hem Haw....previewing order now....I have done this 4 times already. CRAP! Now it's hanging!! Is this a sign?

I hit SUBMIT! Dress only. Next Business Day Shipping. Shock

Someone please come on here later and tell me I did the right thing.

R is totally full of snot. I've tried to squiggy her nose again. She hates that. This is going to be a long week.Confused

tweakers · 04/10/2010 08:30

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2010 10:51

good! thanks!! that was too much money to spend on the one thing let alone buying both pieces.

buckets i didn't mention it last night but i sit in my truck a whole lot while the kids are in school. sometimes i take the laptop and work my magic with budget numbers (really i'm just receipting). some days i read. some days i stare off into space loving that i am able to to do it without someone interrupting me every 2 minutes. Smile

lucky dd2 came in with us.Sad

dd1 starting fretting nonsensically around 4am until 5am. i refused to get up. dh did but couldn't get an answer from her. i figured it was because dd2 was in with us. nope. her blanket wasn't spread out properly.Hmm we had WORDS about that crap!Angry

cyteen · 04/10/2010 14:38

Has anyone else been following the latest massive troll controversy on here? Have been reading with interest. I have no wish to get involved in the thread itself but must say between us that I always thought said MNer was a phony, or at least a deeply unpleasant loser. Not sorry to see her go.

luckoftheirish · 04/10/2010 18:32

good to see you dizz Smile..

well ladies a new low from sil!!! its is dniece's b-day today.. i had hoped to drop her cards in this am [3 mile away] on way to playgroup but got waylaid with docs with dd1..she has slight ear infection in both ears bless her...

Anyway, texted sil to say h b-day, sorry couldn't drop cards but would do tom or give to h to give to his bro.. she texted back message to her husband but accidentally sent it to me!! she called me a lazy cow and a stupid w**r for not getting the cards in timeShockShockShock,,

I threw dd2 in the car and dropped the cards and presents at the cm... got a text from her saying sorry bad day and a grovelling one from bil!!! i am so Angry!!!!

tweakers · 04/10/2010 18:44

loti please print off what you've just typed, put it somewhere safe and read it next time she asks you to look after her DC. she's a horrible horrible woman and doesn't deserve any kindness let alone help from you

dizzydixies · 04/10/2010 18:46

LOTI - cut them right off right now - she's given you the perfect excuse to do it Angry and frankly it's taken me till I'm 34 to realise that there is just no need to have poisonous people in my life so I don't. Please don't waste another moment on them!

cyteen, I started to read it but tbh I'm pretty much a hermit in here these daysBlush

I forgot to tell you someone at the Indoor Market on Sat 'outed' me as a MNer infront of everyone!! I have no reason to hide it but am wondering should I now change my username and I won't be referring to KnB by it's proper title anymore Hmm

luckoftheirish · 04/10/2010 18:52

i haven't responded to either message, have not had a thank u text re the presents.. so thats it job done as far as i am concerned... thankfully for once "h" is backing me up!

Oh dizzy that wasn't very nice... please do what you feel is best hugs

alittlebitshy · 04/10/2010 18:55

oh my goodness loti that is shockingly awful.
I know how crap i felt when i accidentally had an email bitching about me meant to go to tweaks actually Grin -and that was from someone i hardly knew nor had to see again, let alone someone i had done so much for.

fuck her. sorry but yes, just fuck her.

CaptainCaveman · 04/10/2010 18:56

loti as dizz says, you now have the perfect excuse to bow out gracefully, explaining that she has made her feelings perfectly clear. Now you can do the same legitimately!!

luckoftheirish · 04/10/2010 18:59

thanks ladies, exactly how i feel albs.. i was actually shaking when i read the message could not believe the language and tone of the message.. she finally showed her true colours!!

tweakers · 04/10/2010 18:59

thank goodness your h is actually being sensible loti
Please listen to us, you mean too much to us on here to be continually upset and used by such a nasty woman

dizz you need to be comfortable here and feel free to post what you're thinking etc so if that means a change of name then so be it but please let us know what your new name is Wink

tweakers · 04/10/2010 19:00

i've worked out how to use the new coffee machine. i'm on a caffeine high Grin

tweakers · 04/10/2010 19:01

oh and does anyone know what i'm meant to be doing tomorrow?!! i know i'm doing something but my calendar is empty Hmm

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2010 19:08

Lucky she's not even worth the blood pressure increase. Crazy Stupid Person!!!

Dizzy feel free to change your name.

Actually, I have an even grander idea. WHAT IF WE ALL changed our names and retitled our thread something not too catchy. We could stay here and talk but not be here.WinkWink We'd have to work out the changes over on the other spot.Wink Just a thought. No minding me I should not be here right now.

OP posts:
cyteen · 04/10/2010 19:14

I have been contemplating a namechange actually, just for general purposes. So I'm all for it :)

tweakers · 04/10/2010 19:21

TS..that's actually a really good idea. surely it solves anonyminity (heck, i don't think that spelling is even vaguely close!) issues but also means we keep the history so best of both worlds

cyteen · 04/10/2010 19:26

Exactly. We all know each other well enough that we don't need any details of our LOs listing or anything. I say go for it.

luckoftheirish · 04/10/2010 19:27

I have been thinking the exact same thing, particularly as i have been blabbing alot on here recently Smile

tweakers · 04/10/2010 19:29

votes for TS's proposal
tweakers, cyteen, loti, ts
