Even for London that is completely shocking!

By the way I'm impressed that J is doing so well with the feeding. Is he sleeping well as a result?

Awww, books you ok??? You do know it is THEM and not YOU that is the problem don't you??

Dog- glad to hear going well.

Chef.................exciting!!!Grin

120- I am sure you will get the offer you want soon, have you found a place that you want?

I have had 3 glasses of wine and feeling pretty weird, emotional and stuff I guess.

On a brighter note finally had my hair done today, it was 4 weeks overdue and my roots were massive!! feels much better nowSmile

Also, I no longer feel qualified to give any sleep advice on this thread since a certain little monkey spend 2hrs30 on my chest last night whacking me with a train and then got up at 5.50am Shock.

Think hes been taking tips from a certain littke redheadWink

moosemama · 18/09/2010 22:00

Oh Books ((hugs)) There's something in the air tonight. Dh and I also had a huge row and have spent the rest of the night going over our finances, so not much fun to be had here either.

Hope you manage to sort it all out and have a nice day together tomorrow. ((more hugs))

Dd is not loving her new cast. She is sleeping really fitfully and crying out a lot - again. So it looks like I am in for another long night.

Realised at lunch time today that all I'd eaten for the past three day was snatched chocolate bars and half a packet of crisps! Shock Think I will have to do better than that if I'm not going to collapse and let everyone down.

120, fingers crossed for a positive outcome to your viewings. Pleased to hear you are feeling better today.

Dog, really pleased to hear little J is feeding well and you are happy and blooming. Smile

PatTheHammer · 18/09/2010 22:01

Sorry, moose meant to say what a little minx for taking that cast off, as if you haven't enough on your plate. Hope DS better soon too x

Lenni- how are you, been to GP yet?

Ray- welcome back. Great business idea with the baby hairslides. Glad to hear all is well.

moosemama · 18/09/2010 22:03

Oops, cross posted with you there Pat.

Glad you managed to get some time for yourself and get your hair done. Sounds like your ds, my dd and H-bomb are all in league with an evil plan to wear their mothers out at the moment. Wine and letting out some emotions will do you the power of good.

Thanks Pat.

Oh yes - and Lenni. Have been thinking about you a lot. Did you get to the GPs yesterday? Hope you are getting to the bottom of it.

moosemama · 18/09/2010 22:06

Night Books.

I haven't had my hair cut since dd was a few weeks old! Shock

PatTheHammer · 18/09/2010 22:16

Dh feeling a bit better because the pain has come back, sounds weird doesn't it! But his rationale is that as he is in agony the nerve can't be completely dead so I guess it has given us a glimmer of hope.

He managed to take the DCs to the fire station open day today whilst I was at the hairdressers but then paid for it later and had to lie down for most of evening.

Just had a nice roast dinner and evening with the inlaws. Still all feels a bit weird though, like everyones on egg-shells. So my plan was just to get pissed! It worked, we watched X-factor and last nights come dine with me and all had a good laugh.

Books- maybe tell him that you want to forget the row tonight so you can have a good day tomorrow??? Anyway I am not the one to give relationship advice at the moment but just hope its ok tomorrow.

Moose- we need to tell them to knock it off......a thread baby conspiracy is the last thing we all need at the momentGrin

moosemama · 18/09/2010 22:26

Am with you there Pat. Dd is currently asleep in her swing - she's more comfortable in there as she normally sleeps on her tum with her arms tucked underneath her and her bottom in the air.

I am actually putting off going to bed because I can't face another night like the last four.

I take my hat off to Tree - I don't know how she does it. Four days and I am on my knees.

Am glad dh is feeling a bit more positive about things, its such a lot for him to take in and deal with. Sorry to hear he is in so much pain though.

moosemama · 19/09/2010 13:27

Morning

Books, pleased to hear you and dh are back on track today. Hope you manage to get through all your jobs before the dcs come back. Your ds sounds like such a sweetie.

Hi Tink, good shoe shopping lady! Sounds like you are having a great weekend.

We could really do with some time together without the dcs, but have now used up all our babysitting goodwill thanks to hospital and doctors appointments etc.

Ds1 was plainly wrong and we were right when he said he wasn't ill and we said he was. (Its the ASD, he is never aware of what's going on with his own body.) We gave in to his constant onslaught of "I'm starving", "can't I just have something to eat", etc etc accompanied by huge meltdowns all day yesterday and let him have some staff oatcakes for tea. Bad idea. He has us up in the night and was so ill his duvet and duvet cover aren't salvageable. He is now strictly confined back to his bed and nil by mouth until further notice. Hmm

Actually, its been lovely and quiet round here today, which makes a change, as Sundays are usually ruined characterised by ds1 and his meltdowns. Sounds an awful thing to say, but it makes a nice change to have a peaceful Sunday. Mind you, I have him home all day tomorrow now and am dreading when he finds out he's going to miss his second swimming lesson.

moosemama · 19/09/2010 13:27

Blush Morning! Who am I kidding? Where did today go?

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 19/09/2010 14:58

mm - poor ds bless him!!

chefswife · 19/09/2010 18:36

Books I hear ya on the starting a row. Sometimes there are things I need to discuss with DH but there is no way to breach the subject that is not going to start an argument. Everyone gets defensive and nothing gets put forward in a civilized manner, which is the initial intent. The past few months have trying around here with DH's staff, (well, two in particular) but every time there's an incident, he takes his kitchen staff side first. That is a HUGE piss off for me. It has caused so much hurt the last few months and he truly sees it as some kind of joke or that I am making it up. Needless to say, we will be starting therapy.

Moose You need to get yourself a reality show! Sorry for all the A&E visits, but my goodness, I hope you can see the humour, a little. You guys are going to have your own seating in the waiting room lol

WOWOWOWOWOWOWO!!!!! DD just put on her own shoes and is cruising around in them! They are on the right feet even. Hilarious.

Anyhow,

Pat Its nice to hear your DH rationalizing the pain. Very good way of looking at it.

DH took me for dinner to my favorite restaurant last night. He actually had a Saturday night off. There is a lot guilt emanating from him right, mostly because of the trip because everything I said why we shouldn't (have) spend $3000+ on someone else wedding is now what he sees and now he wishes we hadn't gone. lol. When he is feeling guilty he just wants to spend money on me frivolously.

Happy Sunday All!!!

treedelivery · 19/09/2010 19:27

Hi all. Have read. So much tiredness, anxiety and stress about at the mo. Change in seasons maybe, and all the shit we have on too of course. Hugs to all.

Slept much longer than you should, as now have to turn around from days to nights. COuldn't do t though, stayed up till 10 and really began to feel like had been up the 18 hours I had, with a 12 hr shift thrown in. Tried to get up at 4pm so I wuld sleep ok tonight. But thought was going to vomit with tiredness, so had to sleep till 5.30. Feel lke total crap, dd1 has been n tears nad is constipated. dh has done a great job, and he isn't used to having them 23/7 solo like this, so am trying not to be too grumpy about fact the uniforms weren't sorted etc. I need to do that this eve, they will have to trumble, money or not, and then there are 2 plastic trugs of ironing.

Ohhhh so so so so so tired. Sorry I have not answered, but I have read and I hear you all.

x

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 19/09/2010 19:57

Evening
Chef sounds very cute
Tree sorry 4 stress and tiredness

chefswife · 19/09/2010 20:05

Tree Poor you. Too bad you couldn't come over here... I have the perfect de-stress-er. Cup of Peppermint tea, a joint, a laugh, a jar full of awesome homemade oatmeal and raisin cookies and super comfy couch to melt into while watching free digital tv. Wink I joke but I understand how life hurtles a tonne of bricks your way, traveling at maximum inertia and all you can do is stand there and hope to goodness there isn't too many bits left over.

treedelivery · 19/09/2010 20:29
missjackson · 19/09/2010 21:00

Oh chef sign me up for some of that too.

tree, I remember that post-night shift sleep soooo well - as a producer I did 27 hour shifts on BB, and would get home at 12 lunchtime and sleep like the dead. Impossible to get up and remember so well that feeling of wanting to vomit. I used to get my sister to bring me a coffee at required time, and sit on my bed and force me to drink it - then I would fall back into coma until the caffeine did the job for me. You poor thing. Poor DH too, but he sounds like he's doing a sterling job.

pat your strategy sounds fab, hope you had a good evening. I missed x factor last night, damn, was it a good one?

books glad you made up with DH and had a nice weekend after all. Wow, it's been a baby-free weekend for you and tink, lucky people! I've never even had a baby-free night yet, not 24 hours without the little munchkin.

dog loved your fb update, and am so pleased you are enjoying this newborn stage - inspiring me actually because it is so easy to think of the work involved rather than the utter joy.

So who's next to get pg then? (if not chef, will you test already?!?) My bet is on ray or 120 if the house move happens quickly.

Had fab day wandering around Abergavenny food festival, tasting lots of yummy stuff, mostly wine, pate and soft cheese Blush.

teaandcakeplease · 19/09/2010 21:35

I'll catch up tomorrow. Mega tired. I'm in love with Dorset after this weekend Smile
