Sock LOL.

Dizzy Just wetting myself at the continuing back&forth between 2 bakery FB pages. You're going to have to get together and 'dook it out' sometime before someone gets hurt methinks.

MrsMiamla · 25/07/2010 20:04

why? what's happening buckets?

TwilightSurfer · 25/07/2010 20:37

i think pilates kicked my butt today. i've just woken from a midday nap and i am sore all over.

i must give equal shout out billing to no1 who posted the cutest picture of M a little while ago. he so looks 5! and is seriously handsome.

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 21:12

Yes buckets, i am lost on that one

Lovely pics from Pert, Red and No1 . Guess i should go and download at some point

DD2 went into her bed a little better tonight. She was wide awake so i stayed with her for a few mins and then gradually retreated. We had huffy shouting for about 2 minutes and then silence. Went in to check a bit later and she was all snuggled under the duvet . DH fixed the lights in her room whilst we went to the PYO and ate picked raspberries and played in the play area

Off to docs in the morning for DD2's stitches coming out and then no plans at all which i am looking forward to

TwilightSurfer · 25/07/2010 21:53

Red has pictures too.>>>>>>>>>>off to FB

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 21:55

Yes, red is attaching a tardis to her property

And maybe a teensy bit

hotterpotter · 25/07/2010 21:57

Evening all

Wow glad DD2 is happy in her new bed Sazz. Is anyone else not planning the move until DC can no longer be crammed in their cot? DS will be in his for a while as there's not really enough room for two beds in there and think DH has talked me out of the house I showed on fb . Thinking about bunk beds when he gets too big to fit in but think with his viking tendencies that will just lead to trouble...

Woo hoo for pilates ache TS, you must have found some new muscles

Buckets are you still poorly/delirious? (hope not btw!) Is it the other Dundee cupcake bastard mister? Can't remember the name so can't look to see.

hotterpotter · 25/07/2010 22:01

There's no need to be , your house is huuuuuge! We actually would have enough cash to build a fuck off massive extension at our house but what's the phrase, something about polishing a poop? We don't want to live here too much longer so no point spending all the next house money here, would just be nice to have a bit more room

TwilightSurfer · 25/07/2010 22:01

OH! I've already seen those.

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 22:03

We have gone for bunk beds. Lord only knows why with DD2's recent bed related injury record though . Luckily she cannot get up to the top atm but i don't think it will be long so will just have to keep fingers x'd

Any chance of a loft conversion or summat at your house hots?

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 22:04

Sorry x-posts. But did laugh at 'polish a poop'

hotterpotter · 25/07/2010 22:04

Think we need you back on the HotMamas for a bit TS in the capacity of Sargeant Major to whup some major ass. Sazz is just not fierce enough any more

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 22:19
hotterpotter · 25/07/2010 22:29

Feel a bit bad about birthdays, we will be camping when it's DS' so won't be having a party or proper presents as no room for the children rocking horse in the car. I can't decide whether to just pretend his birthday is on adifferent day when we are back home...

pertelote · 25/07/2010 22:38

Oh thank you TS! You are sweet And thanks Crispy too, and welcome back. Hope all goes smoothly with stitch removal and a relaxing day afterwards.

HP no space for a big girl bed here until the move at least - debating whether to say 'new house, new room, new bed' and disappear the cot on moving day, or whether that is two potential upset-causers at once and wiser to wait a month or two. Lucky me to have such trivia to obsess over, eh

Hullo everyone else, as usual when I start typing it wakes DH up and he realises the time. Of course he is quite right, it is a school night and we should have gone to bed, so goodnight all.

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 22:44

We are camping too hots so will just take a couple of small pressies. Think she will have her main pressie the weekend before we go

pert I would do it all in one go tbh. We got back from hols last night and straight into new bed. Have a travel cot on standby which you can pop up if it really doesn;t go well, but i'm sure little M will be a poppet

dizzydixies · 25/07/2010 22:46

Welcome home Sazz & Pert!!

You're right Buckets and I have been given a stern stare (badly needed ) by Red &DH [meep]. Shall wise the feck up - if it is ME it's aimed at, sod her. I haven't tried to muscle in on any of her stuff at all and I'm not going to stop going to the local Deli because she stocks her cakes there Why can't I manage one sodding thing without contraversy?!

ladies, just finished early shift and utterly pooped but please indulge me when I tell you that I've had a call from an events company wanting me to speak to me about their hen parties etc etc EEK

Very upset DD2 here so will have to go sort her out then bed for me, I've an empire to build you know

hotterpotter · 25/07/2010 23:01

Pert I agree with Sazz, miight as well get it all over with in one go. There isn't really that much difference anyway between a cot and a bed, as long as there's a bed guard or pile of cushions on the floor. DD still falls out of bed at 4.8y (but she has a narrow toddler bed) and we just scoop her up and put her back. Makes for some moments when we go and check on her sometimes...

Sazz which aug 08ers are you bbqing with????

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/07/2010 23:02

Ooh, how exciting dizz. You will need to dust off your cock shaped muffin tin

Forgot to say, when i was on hols i had a call from someone who works in a Venture Capital firm asking if i could do a few hours to help them out. Couldn't as we were away, but is all good news for perhaps doing bits and pieces of contract work

Bed for me now. Night

hotterpotter · 25/07/2010 23:06

Dizzy what's the name of the bitch competitor - space it out like Miamla if you want, and we'll keep an eye on her

hotterpotter · 26/07/2010 00:14
hotterpotter · 26/07/2010 07:39

Last to bed and first up in the morning???? Something's not quite right there

oopsandbabycoconuts · 26/07/2010 07:56

Morning Hots

hotterpotter · 26/07/2010 08:03

Thank goodness I am not alone good morning

oopsandbabycoconuts · 26/07/2010 08:14

I was wondering where everyone has got to thank heavens for a friendly face

DH has the lurgy and is pretending to is dying upstairs. Rang ILs to say he won't be at work FIL had diagnosed him with some kind of killer virus and thinks I should call the out of hours doc. I think DH has a cold and fever!

New fridge arriving today as my previous one has stopped being cold which makes it kinda redundant. Once it arrives the girls and I are outta here!

Dizz - you just need to ignore him/her as he just won't get the quality with 600 cakes a weekend coming out his bakery! He obviously has a reason to be worried
