I am envious of the HB too, I so wanted one but DH, strepB and the chance I would end up with nutty MW put paid to that! If there is ever a next time they have suggested a HB.

oh but before i do go (yeah, yeah, i know you don't belive that i'm going to bed soon)

my cousin had her daughter almost 5wks early (really weird that its her due date today but i met her yday!) and after a really hard few weeks for them both (cousin had kidney infection so was readmitted to hospital for a second week having only been at home for one night) and baby was ill too with jaundice and other things..... well she's successfully starting bf yesterday!!! how cool is that?!! i'm so proud of her for persevering

Also if it makes you feel better with DD I had a few mildish contractions for 24 hours then was encouraged a bit with gel and she was born 8 hours later; with DS it was 8 hours from very first contraction to him being born so faster but not scary-fast. I WANT ANOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY for your cousin MrsM - I love success stories I had my first success story come back to the BF group last week to thank me for my help I felt all warm and squishy inside until someone called me a hippy earthmother!

We have no loans or credit card debt and our mortgage is small, so we really will be fine. Sorry to blurt. . We had it all estimated properly, but we've had to replace the roof now when we'd planned on putting it off.

I have just watched the latest episode of GLEE with DH. It was my 2nd and his 1st. I could totally see us being able to watch that show as a couple.

Red is awesome. Cleaned my words up all nice and pretty like. Now I'm just going to sit with my "formal" apology and wait for the head's up from my brother. DH thinks I should just tell them to "kiss my ass". LOL! Not so deep down I agree.

Morning Hots, Miamla and Welcome home Crispy.

DS was awake at 6 again and of course as soon as he stirs DD wakes and uses it as an excuse to start jumping around. I can't put him back in his little room as it's full of heirlooms rubbish now. Managed to get them to play quietly and went back to sleep for half an hour. Am getting sorely tempted to get a telly for their room to substitute for responsible parenting but just can't quite bring myself to do it.

Off over to my Grandma's house later this morning for the last time as they have just about sold it. Going to get a few plants and say goodbye I think it will be hard for my mum, after all her mum lived there for 60 years . It's a miracle it has sold though.

DS has had a wonderful tantrum... why? because i had the audacity to not only want to change him out of his incredibly pooey nappy but i also wouldn't let him have a cup of squash. he drinks milk and water with me but i found out yday that mum gives him tea and dh gives him whatever he's drinking!!
he's now snuggled on my lap watching numberjacks

Morning. I am officially ill, have been running from it since Tuesday and it has caught up with me. But tummy pain, diarrhoea and nausea aside, I did have a great day yesterday. DH was off and I sat and knitted and chatted for 3hrs in a nappy change tent in the park for the NCT (NB just minding it, not touching anything) then did some v successful shopping in town. Bought 20prs new pants so all the old ones are in the bin, some lovely cahsmere merino wool to start knitting myself a shrug and these which look way sexier on.

TS Glee is the little bit of gayness straight men are allowed to love (that and Pineapple Dance Studios). My DH is a HUGE fan!

Miamla and Oops Remember my broodiness for baby#3 could not have been more of a surprise! I had even looked into egg donation and getting myself sterilised I was so done with babies. Was once DS1 turned 2 that I could imagine having another and it not being a total nightmare. Frightening how quickly this turned into it being the most desirable thing in the world.

i don't particularly like it either but when it calms DS down as much as it just did, it can stay!

oh buckets you poor thing. can you tuck yourself up into bed today with your cashmere merino wool? lol, i'm jealous of the staying in bed bit and the gorgeous wool bit!! you can keep the pain, diarrhea and nausea though!

Hots - the only thing I wanted from my Gran's house were here melamine egg cups and a tile from the bathroom I still have them and they make me smile! Everytime I pass the house I think it is lovely that it now belongs to a family with young children again and they seem to love it as much as we all did. Hope it all goes ok {hugs}

hots DNiece is terrified of the shapejaper in numberjacks. SHe woke up screaming it was coming to get her so my sister doesn't let her watch it any more!

Think DS has FINALLY stopped unpoppering his nappy. He seems happy to be back in cloth though tbh! He actually laughed when I put one on him yesterday.

Dizzy I will tell dh you said that as he thinks my organisation skills are pretty rubbish. We went to look at a wardrobe today that I'd paid deposit for and had been made for us but forgot to take the receipt . Wasn't a problem as they remembered me in the shop anyway (was about 3 months ago when I ordered it).

Miamla I think homebirths were pretty much illegal here till recently! There are only 2 hospitals where you can have a water birth and they get booked up pretty quickly.
