the cheeky fecker has eaten my pastry!!!!!! actually, he hasn't, he gave it to DS for his breakfast!! argh, i was really looking forward to it. yesterday i got two pastries (one for me and one for DH) and there's a bowl of fresh fruit salad for DS. thought it would be nice to have a continental breakfast. argh, ok, i admit, i'm hormonal and sleep deprived. still not sure why but everyone, includng Pea, was up at 2am this morning. I'm pretty sure DH was only just coming to bed and woke everyone up

today's going to be a long day.....i should have just gone into work DH now back in bed because he's tired

thanks for all the name suggestions, i'll have a proper look when i'm a little calmer!

MrsMiamla · 20/07/2010 09:42

i'm loving K i t s c h n C o c k.... dildo's with pretty flowers on!

MrsMiamla · 20/07/2010 09:43

and yes i know i need to get things into perspective, especially given the sadness some of you are having atm

just tell me to shut the fuck up and stop whinging about stupid stuff!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 20/07/2010 09:54

Hi All Bye All

Hugs to all who need them {{{hugs}}]

Manic and late for toddlers end of term party.

Laters!

dizzydixies · 20/07/2010 09:55

got to love a handsewn Dildo!!

miamla - you are heavily pregnant, tired and I imagine too hot in this horribly muggy weather. Whilst Cyteen and I may be having some 'moments' remembering those who were lost to us too soon (and I think I speak for her here too) there is not one of us on this thread that cannot appreciate what a rollercoaster it is at this stage. I used to cry at the silliest things. I threw a coffee pot at the kitchen window as I was irrationally angry at something. To be perfectly frank had someone eaten MY fecking pastry I'd probably still be doing time for it Sit back, relax and if you need to whinge, please carry on

dizzydixies · 20/07/2010 09:55
MrsMiamla · 20/07/2010 10:05

cheers dizz, you just made me cry for being too bloody understanding!

DS's breath still smells of MY pastry!!!! although i'm not cross with him at all, poor little thing must think sun shines out of DH's bum. he only gets soggy weetabix from me!

dizzydixies · 20/07/2010 10:11

oh Miamla - thank you for that on FB - I'm freaking out that the two nearest competitors have sooooooo many more followers than me

at least you have an excuse for being irrational!!

MrsMiamla · 20/07/2010 10:13

actually, i'm not too hot. i've only just stopped using my winter duvet because DH took it off me! Still hanging onto my summer one though I love being hot!

i've eaten some fecking fruit salad but i need some proper sugar so i'm off to bake (Dizz, you really have created a monster with all your inspiring cakes!!!)

MrsMiamla · 20/07/2010 10:15

lots of space here in irrational corner, come and make yourself at home!

oh and dizz forgot to warn you about my cunning plan.... as soon as Pea's out and with passport, we're flying up there to see you

dizzydixies · 20/07/2010 10:21

HURRAH!!!! all welcome in the chaos house of dizz

MrsMiamla · 20/07/2010 10:26
Grin
hotterpotter · 20/07/2010 12:41

Just nipping on while DH is taking DD to nursery and I should be tidying up again to see how you all are

springaporesling · 20/07/2010 12:52

Miamla not at all irrational. DH is constantly on at me for not having done things (usually just day to day jobs that need doing) that I'm 'supposed' to have done. His basis for this is that I don't work in the afternoons! I'm not heavily pregnant either.

Hots exam results will be out in 4-6 weeks.

DS has now developed a rash on his chest, back, around his groin and behind his ears. Have no idea what it might be as apart from the constipation (he had an enormous poo this morning) he's been ok - apart from very grumpy. No temperature or anything though. Have been googling but think that was a bad idea! Will go to the doctors first thing.

hotterpotter · 20/07/2010 12:53

miamla if DH ate my pastry I wouldhave his balls on a stick be very cross and make him buy me another! I won't make you feel worse by asking what kind it was

Dizzy a DH's two-hour trip to get home from work. Was it just a maintenance closure, as that kind of detour doesn't sound like much fun...

cece could it be the caffeine withdrawal that stopped you sleeping? Sounds like you are going from loads to not much which can play silly buggers with your mind. In fact I wonder if that's one reason why I slept so badly camping , it took so long to boil the stupid kettle we hardly had any and I usually drink loads

Cyteen hope you are ok today

Wotcha loti, VG, oops, everyone, got to go make a cuppa clean

hotterpotter · 20/07/2010 12:57

Hello springa ooh DS' rash sounds funny but I am firmly of the opinion that if they don't feel poorly then it's nothing to worry about. Hope the doctor agrees

Also glad DS' constipation may be easing. You just reminded me tha Thor has just gone for his nap with a pair of DD's pants on over his nappy! Good job they are plain ones not Hello Kitty...He seems to be starting to think about being ready for potty training but I am just too lazy

Really going now...

dizzydixies · 20/07/2010 13:06

Hots - they shut the bridge on occasion to do work on it and he apparently had remembered but got held on at work - he's up now though and the girls are 10pin bowling in the garden before lunch!!

spring - I'd be more than happy to send you some nelsons' tea tree antiseptic cream which gets slathered over any rash in this house - please just ask

I have a confession to make

lovely friends of mine came over last night and one had fallen off her bike yesterday. I went to administer arnica in vast amounts and have NONE in the house!! how did that happen it has been added to the list!

lovely sunny day here today and went out for walk with kids/scooters. Have a possible sniff for the KnB stock so going to try not to get too excited. Needs must now as the mortgage payment has jumped up a couple of hundred quid [meep]

springaporesling · 20/07/2010 14:07

Thanks Dizzy but am hoping it will have gone by the time that would get here IYSWIM! I put calamine on after the bath but wasn't really sure whether the bath was a good idea or not.

I do have arnica though so maybe could send you that!

dizzydixies · 20/07/2010 15:42

calamine not great tbh as it has a horrible drying effect - is he itchy with it? wee soul. I would try either oats or bicarb in a lukewarm bath to help with the itch.

offer of arnica very much appreciated though

cyteen · 20/07/2010 16:03

No arnica?

MrsM pastry theft = grounds for divorce in some cyteen flavoured countries. Give your H a bowl of dog food for tea and claim pregnancy-based confusion

Very tired day again here: the boiler needed replacing after conking out for the final time, so DS and I escaped to a friend's house while boiler man did his job. Thought it was going to take all day but he finished by half two; in the meantime, DS had refused to sleep at friend's house as was simply too exciting so is completely over-the-top knackered now. He'll be going in the bath and thence to bed an hour early tonight, methinks. He has been a little trouper though, bless him - coping much better than me

QueenofDreams · 20/07/2010 16:19

Hey all, don't have musch time as S is keeping up a perm-whinge state at the moment. DOn't know what to do for him. Supposed to be going to a wedding this evening but really not sure now due to S's vile vile mood. Argh. Sigh.

Sorry to not reply to anyone hope your days are going ok!

GladioliBuckets · 20/07/2010 17:02

Aaargh I've run out of flour! Can't make cupcakes with bread flour can you?

Cece Good idea with the caffeine, that did sound like a lot. I found decaf coffee indistinguishable but DH says decaff tea is ghastly. Trying to get him off the caffeine so he can accurately assess his own mental health, needs to eliminate the caffeine rollercoaster first imo.

Miamla I like NStitches (N for you, see?)and RickrackAttack best. Sadly a quick Google shows they've both been done in some way. I therefore suggest something totally random and not craft-related.

By the way there's a whole section of patterns for knitted nobs on Ravelry.

GladioliBuckets · 20/07/2010 17:04

Lovethis though.

QueenofDreams · 20/07/2010 17:08

at knitted nobs. Am trying to visualise!
