You don't need to say where or who for, just tell us you did it!!!

Done - specifically waited until after pre-school so I could take DD1 (3 1/2) & involve her in the political process. She was underwhelmed.

TeaOneSugar · 06/05/2010 17:30

My democratic responsibility has been exercised.

MarkOatensHankyPanky · 06/05/2010 17:32

x

I got butterflies pulling into the polling station!

DSs were with me. 2yo interested in the pictures and posted the thing. Never too young to get involved in the democratic process!

Fruitysunshine · 06/05/2010 17:34

I've voted!

fridayschild · 06/05/2010 17:34

I voted this morning and queued for 10 minutes to do so. Just like living in a proper democracy .

It has been busy at the polling stations here all day. We are a Tory-Lib Dem marginal and both parties have been leafletting like crazy. There was even an exit poll being carried out at the polling station near the DS's school!

dalek · 06/05/2010 17:36

done! And i've reminded friends and family!

Doodlez · 06/05/2010 17:36

Voted & so has DH.

blinkinblimey · 06/05/2010 17:38

Done, with DS in buggy... Sadly it was a bit quiet... Which was surprising seeing as it was school finishing time. Friendly people at the booth though... Bumped into a few neighbours on their way there and was wondering how they voted but if course I couldn't ask...!

annmar · 06/05/2010 17:41

Done.
Took both DDs. They didn't seem very impressed.

undercovamutha · 06/05/2010 17:44

Done (took DD and DS and got into a very complicated explanation of what the 'government' is) and have nagged apathetic DH who is hopefully voting as I type!

megapixels · 06/05/2010 17:50

Went at 5 pm. Quite a decent flow of people going in and coming out. Both DCs came with us.

KaraThrace · 06/05/2010 17:51

Done this morning with DD. Guy at Polling Station told me he gets to watch the babies grow up over the years. Last time DD went to Polling Station she was in a pushchair. DD quite upset as she thought she was going to the boat at the rolling station.
DD then went again with my parents as they look after her whilst I work.

kittywise · 06/05/2010 17:52

done, took 3 of the dc's. They were astonished at how 'simple' it was. Not computer in sight!

kittywise · 06/05/2010 17:55

and whenever I vote, which I always do I am deeply thankful that my right as a woman to vote was fought so hard for. And I'm thankful that I live in a country that has a 'democracy'. Well having PR would make it a proper democracy, but hey ho.

Lilyloo · 06/05/2010 17:56

Done waited until dc had finished school so they could come with me.

jenduff · 06/05/2010 17:58

The DC wanted me to wait til after school so that they could come and see democracy in action

notnowdave · 06/05/2010 18:00

Done

I always dither at the ballot box, even when I've been 100% sure for weeks!

Only made up my mind finally last night

ABatInBunkFive · 06/05/2010 18:01

Done, ooh never thought to ask for a pen! I did press hard though so hopefully no fraud with a big rubber possible.

LadycAshcroft · 06/05/2010 18:03

We have voted.

thehillsarealive · 06/05/2010 18:07

Done X took my DD with me, never too young!

Emily would be proud.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 06/05/2010 18:07

Done - 7.55am this morning.

MumofOscar · 06/05/2010 18:10

Done! Was an undecided voter right up til the moment i put my x in the box! (mind you, think i'm still undecided!)

sharbie · 06/05/2010 18:13
