But why are people postal voting? Thought that option was to be used if you were going to be away from home on election day so couldn't get to the polls in person...

Just off to vote now. Technically a safe Conservative seat but we had a leaflet through the door before 7am saying please vote Conservative so maybe not so safe after all. (My vote won't be helping them on that front either .

I voted at 7am on my way to work, while dh and dcs were still sound asleep. Hope we all have something to smile about tomorrow

I did it last week by post, as did DH.
Challengingcitrus, we have a postal vote because DS (5) was due on the day of the last general election, and I've always been too lazy otherwise occupied to ask for a normal vote when we get our electoral register form.

I voted at about 8.30 am.
Was wavering up to the last minute.

I asked for a postal vote 5 years ago as I didn't want to be unable to vote. I've never got round to unasking, so I still have a postal vote. Same goes for DH.

I see whydobirds, have been wondering why noone answered so have started a new thread asking! It's today bonnet bee for me.

didnt want to go with DH incase he tries to see who i voted for...... so he can go on his own tonight
