You don't need to say where or who for, just tell us you did it!!!

Mines cast, did it on the walk home from school, polling station was empty so only took seconds!

jellybrain · 06/05/2010 10:07

I postal voted last week ds1 is 13 today so I wanted to be at home celebrating with him. He was due 1.5.97 and i spent all of that election night wondering why I hadn't gone into labour! Bit naive(sp) and very impatient.
The first thing DD said when she got up this morning was that I musn't forget to go and vote as it is very, very, very important (she's 4)

There was a mock election at the secondary school yesterday which the conservatives won, it is in David Cameron's constituency though. Ds1 says he booed and lots of the others joined in!

BertieBotts · 06/05/2010 10:11

I have voted! And DS fell asleep on the way there which was a bonus which means we missed Jo Jingles this morning and I have a free day

seb1 · 06/05/2010 10:13

Done

weegiemum · 06/05/2010 10:23

Done! Chose on the way into the polling station tbh, not through canvassing, it just came to me.

Took our kids in to show then the democratic process.

They thought it was boring - well, it is really!

done...and there were only vair nice lib dems standing outside so we had a bit of a chat.

There was no BNP candidate. There was something called the money reform party on the ballot paper, which I had not heard of before. Oh and a UKIP.

but we always vote lib dem. Ds2 was wearing yellow, by accident

SoupDragon · 06/05/2010 10:30

Done.

I asked DD who she'd like to vote for and she said "Lucy". None of our candidates were called Lucy so I had to make my own mind up.

SoMuchToBits · 06/05/2010 10:34

Have voted after dropping ds at school. Explained the electoral process to him last night, so today his Playmobil people are having an election. Norman's office has been turned into a polling station...

UndertheBoredWalk · 06/05/2010 10:35

Done, went about half eight and was already quite busy. I expect there will be queues later so glad I got there early.

DumpyOldWoman · 06/05/2010 10:36
