First rule of MN, you can get away with antisemitism, but you can't call it out!

😡

He did.

Maybe Animal Farm should be compulsory reading. Though like Adrian Mole, some of the posters we argue with would just see it as a book simply about animals on a farm.

Probably then insist on focusing only on animal rights and the meat industry

"Communist millionaire". I mean, he's not, is he? Like, he's last page of Animal Farm.

He hasn't even bothered with the revolution. He's a Trust Fund baby like so many ' communists'. Their lives have been too easy and sheltered from the realities of many.

Texanmonkey · 13/10/2026 12:32

The Greens have totally lost the plot and have become by far the biggest racist and intollerant bunch of bigots, despite calling everyone else that.

Texanmonkey · 13/10/2026 12:54

.

BIossomtoes · 13/10/2026 12:56

it's in the Telegraph and strangely not on the BBC or Guardian.

I wonder why? 🤔

This exactly.

I love that his communist principles about equality supposedly for all, haven't stopped him accepting the money and using it to buy political influence and give a financial advantage to causes he personally favours, to the detriment of others.

His favouritism sounds no different from the sort of capitalists he and his ilk would despise

What a bloody hypocrite when communism preaches the abolition of private capital, class privilege, and the influence of wealth in public life yet he is using private economic power ro do exactly the same!

The party has dropped to 9 percentage points, down from 16 points in May. The proportion of young people – those aged from 18 to 34 – planning to vote Green has halved over the past five months, from 28% at the time of the local elections in May to 14% now.

Polanski’s approval rating has plunged by seven points, making him the most unpopular of the party leaders.

Only 17% of voters think he is doing a good job and just 14% believe he represents what most people think.

According to the poll, 42% of the electorate believe the Greens have a problem with antisemitism.

Yay

The 42% bit is a little not good but a lot of people don't understand antisemitism. It doesn't mean they are ignoring Jew hate, it just means they need more education about antisemitism

An ok photo of Zippy actually, normal they pick one with his teeth taking centre stage

Maybe someone felt sorry for him and picked a more flattering photo after seeing the article they were about to release

Zack Polanski should take it as a compliment that he and the Green Party are getting the Jeremy Corbyn treatment. It means that the British establishment sees them as a threat. He needs not to buckle in the face of this pressure.

The assault takes the same form as the campaign mounted against Corbyn during his leadership of the Labour Party between 2015 and 2020—on the one hand, a frenzied media assault, on the other, attacks from within by the right wing of the party, all centring on the libel that their target is an antisemite.

They are still not over it are they, Oh Jeremy 😂

Yeah, because it's the same fucking antisemites, they've just moved party.

Except Corbyn who moved to a different party by accident and is now sat on his own looking over enviously at the antisemitism row going on in the other party that should have been his. How embarrassing.

noblegiraffe · Yesterday 20:43

Good 👍🏼

To be fair currently they don't have particularly big donations compared with the major parties. So just providing a dental plan for Zippy would bankrupt them.

The Green Party got more from membership fees than from donations in the 2025 reporting year - £3,733,169.00 as opposed to £2,755,419.00.

Still small budget compared to the major parties isn't it?

However maybe they can afford to provide Zippy with dental care after all so that is good.

This is interesting news.

Greens adopt policy treating Zionism as racism (part 2)
BIossomtoes · Today 18:58

That’s going to put the cat among the pigeons.

Neverstopwondering · Today 20:53

What does that mean in practice? New local elections?

I don’t think so, it will just make it more difficult for stuff to get done.

noblegiraffe · Today 21:08

It is a signal for those who were suspicious that Labour would go into a coalition with the Greens next government. Not unless they ditch this policy it seems.
