Is the growing intrest in the reform party a sign that racism is growing in this country and has now become acceptable.

@dubsieif polls show closer to the GE the younger age group are more likely to vote Reform than Labour would you still be keen?

Yes because democracy is about the freedom to choose. Young people may well vote reform but that's the choice they make. You can't choose how people will vote....that's down to the individual

Goldenbear · 05/05/2025 12:32

You are never off line, all day whining about immigration and planting thoughts into peoples heads, so weird and hateful.

I have literally never seen @EasternStandard posting about immigration.
They have really triggered you today.......go and have a break from MN and a nice lie down

Goldenbear · 05/05/2025 12:33

twistyizzy · 05/05/2025 12:28

I hope they carry on. Shows exactly the thought process of Labour + their supporters. Same as the discussions around Lucy Powell

Typical Reform voter, blaming someone else for their woes. Boring as fuck

Except I'm not a Reform voter 🤣🤣🤣

This is my point, calling everyone who disagrees with you a Reform voter.

Bless you heart

Do you think I'm so desperately insecure and feeble minded that your character assassinations make me question myself and my character- they don't, maybe look in the mirror and wonder why you are so angry 😂

Why don't you just own it, why are you so embarrassed about being a Reform voter, I mean yes IMO it is a highly embarrassing label to apply to oneself but you are happily promoting everything they stand for, so just admit it,why else would you be banging their drum so loudly;

I don't even know who that is, like I said, own it, be authentically Reform, maybe you'll feel better about yourself!

I don't think it's me who's angry.

Oh no, you are very angry just like every Reform voter but unfortunately you don't seem to know what with, just blaming your woes on other people and taking no personal responsibility!

Erm, ok. We were debating whether young people are influenced by social media. I think they are, you disagreed, and then assumed I was a Reform supporter which in your view, warrants attack.
You are making yourself look silly now, so it might be time to stop with the insults.

EasternStandard · 05/05/2025 13:01

Okaaay I think Labour’s performance might be getting to some.

Strange outburst. Moving on…

What does a Reform voter look like? I post a lot on threads about small boat crossings, really wish Labour would get to grips with that issue. Didn't vote for Labour, have never voted Labour.

Does that mean I am a Reform supporter? Reform have just taken control of a Council where I live, so it will be interesting to see how they run things. I am prepared to give them a chance the same as I was prepared to give Labour a chance after the GE.

PlutoCat · 05/05/2025 13:13

Looks like Reform might be a trojan horse for the Yaxley-Lennon lovers...

@countingthestar

Since the referendum held 23 June 2016, many posters have attempted to police and block post and posters who do not agree with them.

It’s why I voted reform on 1 May 2025.

What a very strange reason for choosing who to vote for.

StoneofDestiny · 05/05/2025 19:19

The government for allowing uncontrolled immigration. It's caused the collapse of our infrastructure because we can't house and provide services to people already here. Don't you get it?

Our council houses were sold off to buy Tory votes under Thatchers government. They were not replaced. There have been no rent controls on private landlords. Our NHS has been undervalued by the last 14 years of Tory rule. Our NHS would not function without doctors and nurses from abroad. At least now these areas are a focus under Labour.

Migrants are not buying up the houses being built. Many are built under the shared ownership scheme so are the more affordable option for many people who previously might have rented from public housing schemes.
