Dominic Cummings is Musk's informer

trapforsanta · 12/01/2025 09:02

It's been revealed in multiple media sources after much speculation that Dominic Cummings has been whatsapping Musk with strategies to undermine the UK government and our democracy. For a while commentators have been speculating that Musk must have a hard right UK informant, since he's not across any detail himself and really has no understanding of the UK or our political system himself (see his comments about asking the King to dissolve the government). He's clearly been radicalised by watching Tommy Robinson's videos, and now we discover it's Cummings up to his dark tricks again.

I don't think I've ever wished harm to another person but honestly I wish Cummings would just bugger off for good.

I wonder whether Musk, Tommy Robinson etc are aware thst Sikh and Hindu girls were aldo victims of the Pakistani rape gangs? The reason the media stopped calling them ' Asian rape gangs' was because the Sikh community had raised concerns for years about Sikh girls being targeted raped, forcibly converted etc by the same groups of men and their families, who come from a very specific part of Pakistan. They protested about being lumped together as ' Asian gangs' when they themselves were victims. I would bet Musk and his acolytes couldn't care less about them.

And I couldn’t care less about Musk.

I’m glad the issue is getting publicity. I want the people and organisations that failed those girls to be held to account. Preferably by facing a proper enquiry.
The ethnicity of the victims may or may not be relevant- that’s for an enquiry to look into .
Posters who imply the requests for an enquiry are driven by racist motivation are part of the problem. They’re using the same tactic used by police, council and media to shut down the questions.

But even more important than an enquiry - I don’t want it to ever happen again. I’m very glad that Musk’s interference has put attention onto the Jay recommendations .

He hasn't though. He is basically demanding that the Jay Enquiry be ignored and a new enquiry put in place. The Tories tried to scupper legislation designed to protect children being home schooled by demanding a new enquiry when they did nothing about the Jay Report and didn't implement any of the recommendations.

Barbadossunset · 13/01/2025 17:46

For example 8 police officers were identified for either misconduct or gross misconduct in relation to the Rochdale CSA but to date only one has been brought to book and that was only a reprimand.

I guess there’ll be a lot of ‘I was acting under orders’ from police and social workers who are questioned.

When did he demand that the Jay recommendations should be ignored ? I’ve missed that.

He can do as he likes, eh? No need for journalistic standards, a commitment to truth, or to have any idea what you're talking about?

It's true that it is unfortunately difficult to stop Musk without limiting freedom of speech. That doesn't change the fact that what he is doing is immoral, reckless and dangerous, and that he is only able to do it because he has stupid amounts of money.

Would you also say that a drunk on a street corner 'can do as he likes' if said drunk were to shout baseless accusations at passers-by? Unless you answer a quick 'yes' to that, you're just someone who kowtows to wealth.

Elon Musk is not a journalist.

Having been a drunk shouting baseless accusations on street corners myself (to certain boys) many years ago I have no objection to people doing the same. I'm not a hypocrite

Free speech within the (current) law please.

This is from Channel 4 Fact Check
“In February 2022 it produced a report into grooming gangs specifically, which sought to uncover the wider problem by focusing on six case study areas that had not already been subject to high profile independent investigations, such as Rotherham and Rochdale. These were Durham, Swansea, Warwickshire, St Helens, Tower Hamlets and Bristol.
It found that the sexual exploitation of children by grooming gangs was ongoing and that it wasn’t a rare problem confined to a small number of areas.
The final report by Prof Jay was then published in October 2022 – the day Liz Truss resigned as Prime Minister.
It made 20 recommendations that have still not been implemented in full.
In November 2024, Prof Jay said she felt “frustrated” that none of its 20 recommendations to tackle abuse had been implemented more than two years later.
She said: “It’s a difficult subject matter, but it is essential that there’s some public understanding of it.
“But we can only do what we can to press the government to look at the delivery of all of this.
“It doesn’t need more consultation, it does not need more research or discussion, it just needs to be done.”

Note what Prof Jay says - the sexual exploitation of children by grooming gangs is still ongoing and is not “ a rare problem confined to a small number of areas. “

I think it is plain to most people that we wouldn’t be discussing this now were it not for Musk . It is horrifying that it has taken so long and again and again the subject has been brushed under the carpet.

Prof Jay’s would prefer the recommendations were enacted rather than a new enquiry . I can accept that . Making sure the recommendations are enacted is the priority.
But I will be very disappointed if the people and organisations that failed these girls were not brought properly to account and that is why I want a new enquiry.
NOT because I’m a racist ffs .

What I find particularly loathsome are people who, like the council members and policemen who have evaded censure , shut down the conversations
“this has all been dealt with”
“it’s not an issue any more”
“ you’re racist if you want a further enquiry”

OpheliaWasntMad · 13/01/2025 18:33

And @GrammarTeacher who told me I “clearly know nothing about what was put in place “ to protect girls after Rotherham needs to let Prof Jay know what was put in place .
Jay described herself as frustrated that none of the recommendations were implemented over the last two years.
Perhaps Prof Jay “clearly knows nothing”

Because there was an enquiry, and he wants another one before the recommendations of the one that took 7 years to conclude and cost millions has been implemented. I fully accept that he doesn't know what he's talking about and is parroting something Tommy Robinson said though. But I wouldn't put it past him to know that the Jay report also looked at online grooming and the role of social media companies in failing to safeguard children.

He has asked for an enquiry - But that doesn’t mean he’s demanding the Jay recommendations are ignored which is what you claimed earlier?

BIossomtoes · 13/01/2025 20:08

Ignore/kick them down the road for years - it amounts to the same thing.

Ah yes ….isn’t that what’s already been happening for years - ignore/ kick it down the road…

BIossomtoes · 13/01/2025 20:14

So how would it be helpful to do it again?

I don’t think asking for an enquiry is the same thing as asking for the recommendations to be ignored.
I think it’s possible to implement the recommendations AND to conduct an enquiry into the cover ups over this scandal

BIossomtoes · 13/01/2025 20:21

It’s not. Inquiries cost millions and require teams of experts. There aren’t the resources to do both simultaneously.

Really? That’s convenient for lots of people then isn’t it?

Yes. Normally governments who want to look like they are doing something when they don't. Luckily the current government not doing that and is ignoring some drugged up narcissist and implementing the current enquiry instead of spending time and money finding out something everyone already knows- that the reasons this went on was that the police and social workers were not only scared of being called racist but were also classist and misogynist, and didn't bother about girls in care They didn't treat those girls like human beings either.

OpheliaWasntMad · 13/01/2025 20:34

@Blossomtoes
You’d better tell Sarah Champion that you’ve decided there aren’t the resources. Because clearly you know better than her .

MarvellousMable · 13/01/2025 20:35

I would like to know who covered this up, why they did this, and who they were afraid of being implicated.

I have a friend who is retired from the police. In their experience, social services only reported children missing from ‘care’ homes so the police had to give them a lift home when they called to return back to the ‘care’ home.

Any attempts to determine where these minors had been, who gave them drugs, alcohol etc and if there had been any sexual activity were brushed away by the ‘care’ staff who refused to cooperate with those enquiries.

Said ‘care’ staff just stated that they couldn’t force the minors to speak with them or be medically examined and they couldn’t prevent them from leaving the ‘care’ home at any time.

F all ‘care’ for children who were supposed to be in care.

Absolutely right.
And I have friends with similar experiences.

Which is why I am SO massively pissed off by posters on here who keep saying it’s all been sorted .
“Clearly you know nothing about the improvements since Rotherham “
”There are new safeguarding rules in schools - we don’t need to talk about this any more” 🙄

Never mind all the accusations of being racist / far right/ ignorant

Well you certainly said there were no resources with an authoritative tone . I assumed you had some kind of knowledge? No?
So it was just an opinion…

It’s hardly an opinion that the country is broke. Or that national inquiries come with £ multimillion price tags.

noblegiraffe · 13/01/2025 20:45

”There are new safeguarding rules in schools - we don’t need to talk about this any more”

No one said this, so putting it in quote marks is a lie.
