Just seen this and I swear they keep forgetting they won the election and are in power now

The constant gaffes and sixth form debate club politics are very embarrassing. I was ready for change, but fucking hell.

Labour volunteers in US helping Harris 'in spare time', Keir Starmer says

The prime minister said volunteers from his party travelled to the US for "pretty much every" presidential election.

Actually I think it is quite an interesting question regarding David Lammy’s 2017 tweet vs now.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk pretend they are the defenders of freedom of speech. We certainly know they are very happy to troll and trash talk themselves. If they are defenders of freedom of speech, they won’t care one bit! If they are not, then I might worry a bit more.

Freedom of speech and independence of the judiciary are fundamental principles of democracy. Let’s see what happens.

I agree with Freedom of Speech for regular people, but politicians (as opposed to activists) should be expected to show a modicum of common sense and future thinking and not emote everywhere for attention and likes when it can affect their jobs.
I'm disappointed in the lack of professionalism. I remember Labour in the Blair days being full of professionals and strategists, this lot seem to have been dragged from a JCR and asked to make decisions and talk to grown ups.

Musk and Trump free speech? Only for them. Not for others. Trump holds grudges. Musk has influence without being elected. They exist for themselves. Not anyone else.

Not at all. That’s not how politics works.
Do you think Trump believes everyone likes him? Or really cares? As long as he has power and can get people to do what he wants he’s happy. Nobody (regardless of their opinion of him) will be able to count on friendliness. He’ll deal if he gets what he wants, and not otherwise.

Very prophetic!

Very prophetic!

I know what I’m talking about sometimes! Also I sometimes get lucky. Or unlucky.
