Also doing a bit of YT vblogging myself, being a voice on Reddit etc

Ah, whining?

Roussette · 17/12/2016 13:30

Deepan Grin

Given there's over 200 million Reddit users, I'm not sure a lone voice gets heard to be frank.

Lweji · 17/12/2016 13:31

Misss, get out off your chair and join the brave women fighting ISIS.

claig · 17/12/2016 13:32

'That's not the question I asked, claig. Whether Trump believes it or not, should he make it absolutely clear to Russia that he will not tolerate it?'

Of course not because he doesn't believe they did it. It would be like him making it absolutely clear to the Chinese that they shouldn't have have rigged the Super Bowl when he didn't think they did.

aka whining on the internet

Far more than you have done in a lifetime. You sound rather envious

DeepanKrispanEven · 17/12/2016 13:33

And if Blair is so insignificant, why are you so obsessed with him, claig? And why are you going on about him rather than answering questions about whether Trump should make it clear that interference in the US elections will not be tolerated? Could it be because he knows there is a distinct danger that, if he does that, Putin will produce the evidence that he asked them to do so?

The reality is that Trump has allowed himself to become Putin's useful idiot. It really takes a major degree of arrogance and incompetence to bring about that situation before even being confirmed in office.

Lweji · 17/12/2016 13:34

Far more than you have done in a lifetime. You sound rather envious

You're funny. Are you also 5?

claig · 17/12/2016 13:34

'And frankly, if Trump is going for conspiracy theories even before he takes up power, I really am worried.'

Blair is worried too, but it doesn't bother Trump. No one tells him what to believe or what to say, no one pulls his strings.

OP posts:
Kaija · 17/12/2016 13:34

Arrogance, incompetence or vested interests

Missswatch · 17/12/2016 13:35

I wonder what most posters here have done to help women? Probably nothing

DeepanKrispanEven · 17/12/2016 13:36

But Trump not believing the Russians did it means ignoring the multiple sources - not just the CIA - who have produced evidence that they did. Should he not spend time looking at the evidence carefully before shouting conspiracy theory?

And you are still ignoring the awkward question, claig. If it is proved that the Russians interfered, should Trump announce that it is unacceptable, and that he will support Obama in taking action against them as a result?

Lweji · 17/12/2016 13:37

no one pulls his strings.

Yet his cabinet looks full of string pullers.
Oil tycoons.
Big banks.
Lawyer who got him out of personal bankruptcy.

DeepanKrispanEven · 17/12/2016 13:40

Missswatch, yet again, you've missed my post where I pointed out that I had involvement in organisations that worked with the one Southall referred to in order to help women. And in fact I still work with a charity that helps women and children I strongly suspect that I'm by no means the only contributor to this thread involved in helping women and, indeed, men who need help.

You might like to think about why you feel the need to make wild assumptions about the facts and denigrate other posters, and what it demonstrates about yourself.

claig · 17/12/2016 13:40

'Why do you keep banging on about Blair then?'

Because Blair, the BBC and the Guardian and the newly formed and funded Tony Blair Destitute represent the Ancien Regime that was defeated by the people in Brexit and now trounced by Trump in the US. They are still there, they are stiill threatening us with Blair's return. I just laugh at Blair and his teams because theri spin is no match for Trump and the Stump for Trump Sisters.

The people won.

Whining doesn't count as helping Deepan

Kaija · 17/12/2016 13:43

Aaaand there it is again. The people didn't win. They voted for Clinton. 2.83 million more than voted for Trump. This is a power grab not a people's revolution.

claig · 17/12/2016 13:43

'Your language is exactly what the writer describes.'

Of course it is because the writer hates Trump as do the Oxford PPEs on the Guardian. I am with Trump on the Trump Train, with the Stump for Trump Sisters. We are Trump fans, that is why that writer dislikes us.

Missswatch · 17/12/2016 13:44

Popular vote counts for shit. Keep that fantasy though Kaija

Kaija · 17/12/2016 13:44

And again.

Roussette · 17/12/2016 13:44

Misss you have absolutely no idea what others do on here. Me included and I won't be telling you what because I have no need to defend myself. Writing that they do nothing is at the least rude and inflammatory. So I would stop there if I were you.

claig · 17/12/2016 13:45

'If it is proved that the Russians interfered, should Trump announce that it is unacceptable'

Trump has said he is against any hacking, by the Russians, Chinese or a 400lb teenager in a bedroom. He just doesn't believe the Russians did it.

OP posts:
Kaija · 17/12/2016 13:46

That's funny misswatch, as trump was very unhappy about the idea of winning the popular vote but losing the electoral college when he thought it would happen to him.

As I said before, I will stop mentioning the popular vote just as soon as this "the people won" crap stops.

Missswatch · 17/12/2016 13:49

I have no need to defend myself

Now if I said that I'd be met with inflammatory remarks. Difference is I can take it

claig · 17/12/2016 13:49

'I may not be feeling very well today. claig I think I actually agree with you'

derxa, it sounds like you are in top fettle today, lucid, with a clarity of thought that is not available in the pages of the Guardian Wink

OP posts:
Inkanta · 17/12/2016 13:50

'Obama is "going on" about Russian intervention in the election because it's an incredibly serious matter. Are you really suggesting he should just shrug his shoulders and leave it, Inkanta? What sort of message does that send out? Would you like it if, say, China interfered in our elections?

And if you think we haven't heard from Obama for months, you haven't been paying attention.'

It's a bit of an insult to the American electorate who voted Trump to say Putin had an influence. Trump won fair and square.

I don't believe Putin was significant at all. This whole charade comes across as desperate from Obama.

Has Obama been busy these last few months - I don't know. He's top news now.
