How can you tell which ones are puppets, claig? Because your X-ray vision can see the strings? Or because they must be puppets if they don't agree with you? It's like your ever changing definition of 'elites' - basically people I don't agree with.

Hmm. Tillerson has been quoted as saying "global warming is real". I've gone off him a bit. We will have to wait ad see what happens.

No, it would mean Trump had made a big mistake, or else he is playing a long game that I have not fathomed. There are some bad contenders for that role and it is an important role. Trump fans don't want Romney, but Trump has not yet ruled him out and some of the others aren't very good either.

Fair enough he denies evolution. Surely he accepts the scientific method to do medicinal work. Well he must do, I'm sure if he prescribed faith and prayer rather than pills he'd be out of a job very quickly

Claig - Some of those that DT has suprisingly chosen may be of use to his govt in the short term, so long as he keeps them on a tight leash and adequately monitored. If one of them is disloyal, Trump will find out with whom he is being disloyal and who is the puppetmaster of that individual.

Not infallible at all. I was disappointed that he chose politically correct Nikki Haley, who had been against him during the campaign, as the UN ambassador. But he probably had various reasons, some political etc, we don't know.

Tulsi Gabbard, the Democrat, would be fantastic for Secretary of State and Trump has interviewed her for it, but I don't think she is the main contender. Having seen Tulsi interviewed on Fox, I predict that she will be President of the United States one day without a doubt. She is excellent.

Exactly, SouthallGirl. We don't know all of Trump's motives but we do know that Machiavelli was a dummy compared to Trump, so Trump will probably "keep his friends close and his enemies closer" in order to keep things well under control.

Absolutely. He wants to get the job done and will fire if necessary. But he also has to play some politics to keep the Establishment sweet before he takes them to the cleaners.
