Into the final lap now after over 1 year of entertainment, education and excitement. Donald J Trump is nearly there against all expectations.

Pallisers

You are right....

I have often wondered how some posters can literally post 20 hours a day. Use different styles of writing. Different tones. Appear at times to be a teenage male or a middle aged woman or a rabid right wing white man. I have called it out often to no avail. The only common theme of some user names that appear to have multiple personalities is a love of rancid right wing nutters.

But not really worth bothering with tbh

claig · 07/11/2016 11:54

A Trump fan combines all styles and all types and all voices and never sleeps. The Duracell Bunny has nothing on Trump fans.

OP posts:
Showmeagain · 07/11/2016 11:56

You mean trump fans are multi personality disorders on speed?

Explains a lot

claig · 07/11/2016 12:01

Multi-talented and multitasking, but no speed just a packet of malteesers

Surely you mean tic tacs.....and skittled

Still go with my explaination.

Skittles? Where? I need some in preparation for the all-nighter tomorrow (talking of which - what time is everyone arriving here? I assume it's here?).

'Skittles? Where?'

I need to get some more in for tomorrow, gonna need them and the coffee.

"Clinton camp warns any WikiLeaks whoppers are probably 'fake'

www.politico.com/story/2016/11/clinton-campaign-wikileaks-230822

Twitter users saying they think the Clinton camp know a whopper may be coming and are trying to head it off at the pass. I don't believe in the whopper rumours any more. Too many reports like that that never happened, even though what did come out is yuuge.

On a lighter note, claig, have you seen this?

We exploded FOUR brilliant effigies of Trump at Lewes Bonfire night on Saturday. They were superb satirical works of art. I've been attending the Lewes celebrations for years, and commentate on it for local radio, and I have never heard the crowd booing an effigy so loudly, and so wholeheartedly. It was magnificent.

By the way, Lewes was the home of Thomas Paine, and has a history of political activism, protest and dissent. Ironically, all those anti-establishment values - the freedom and independence - that the Donald claims to stand for (but doesn't) are encapsulated in the town, and particularly by the Bonfire tradition.

So that's why we burned him Grin

claig · 07/11/2016 14:04

AntideluvianCat, I saw it, it was funny in the spirit of knocking anyone in power or the Establishment. Good fun.

Thomas Paine was fantastic, but it is a shame that so many people in Lewes have lost that great spirit and fallen for the BBC and Establishment lies about Trump. If Trump wins they will learn the truth because the BBC and Establishment will start being nice to Trump and then the eople will no longer be told the lies they have been getting.

It is only a few individuals like the magnificent Katie Hopkins who understand it. Even Richard Littlejohn hasn't got a clue what it is all about

"The fact that the gruesome charlatan Trump is even in with a shout is to the eternal shame of the Republican Party. Whenever a more credible candidate — such as Florida’s Marco Rubio — got his nose in front during the primaries, they formed a circular firing squad and blasted him to oblivion."

Marco Rubio is a total Establishment joke and the American Republicans knew it even if Littlejohn didn't have a clue. Rubio was part of the Gang of 8, he couldn't change anything. Trump says they are "puppets".

If even Richard Littlejohn doesn't understand the enormity of what is happening, then what chance is there for the people of Lewes.

OP posts:
fourmummy · 07/11/2016 14:10

Completely agree that Littlejohn doesn't get it. Colleagues in NYC tell me that they have resorted to talking in code so that their support for Trump isn't revealed. How nuts is that? Code!

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 07/11/2016 14:10

Trump damns himself every time he opens his mouth

claig · 07/11/2016 14:15

Richard Littlejohn manages to salvage a slight smidgen of his conservative credibility when he says

"We moan about the perceived liberal bias of the BBC, but in America most of the media outlets make Pravda look impartial."

but his misunderstanding of Trump and the woeful puppet Rubio shows that he has lost the plot.

They say that Richard Littlejohn is the highest paid journalist in Britain. He used to be funny, but as some posters on here have rightly said in the past, he no longer is, it is the same hackneyed phrases, he is now lazy, living the life of luxury, has lost the Lewes light and spirit that rocked the world with Thomas Paine.

Stand aside Littlejohn and let Katie Hopkins take over. She is the number one, she stands up for the readers of the Daily Mail and for Donald J Trump.

OP posts:
claig · 07/11/2016 14:19

'How nuts is that? Code!'

Yes, it is the silent majority. The Establishment is watching, people no longer tell telephone pollsters they are voting Trump, they are too scared. Everyone whispers the Emperor Has No Clothes apart from brave Katie Hopkins who brings the whole corrupt house of card crashing down by saying what the silent majority is too scared to say openly.

It is a silent revolution, the people vs the elites, we will have to wait and see if Tuesday spells their final defeat.

OP posts:
claig · 07/11/2016 14:27

Trump likes Katie Hopkins. He lambasts the lying, crooked, corrupt media, but he knows how to spot the jewels.

"Donald Trump thanks 'respected columnist' Katie Hopkins

Hopkins was praiseful of him in her column for the Daily Mail"

www.independent.co.uk/news/people/donald-trump-thanks-respected-columnist-katie-hopkins-for-her-praising-article-a6767976.html

Go Katie! Go Trumpsters!

OP posts:

The Silent Majority Has Spoken

It is one helluva country and there are going to be one helluva lot of crooks across the world running for cover. "Pay for Play", more like "Pay to Pray"

There's a kind of hush all over the world tonight.Monday, before the revolutionary roar of the American people and the people of the world on Tuesday if they defeat the crooked elites.

OP posts:
slug · 07/11/2016 15:11

Back, many years ago during the homosexual law reform debate in NZ, I had a button that read

"The Moral Majority is Neither"

I must dig it out. It would work just as well for the silent majority

AntideluvianCat · 07/11/2016 15:42

Richard Littlejohn had "Lewes light and spirit"? Shock
How dare you mention him in the same sentence as Tom Paine Grin

Anyway. Yes, everyone in this town - this town with it's tradition of philosophers, men and women of letters, free thinkers and academics - is gullible and incapable of independent thought. We're all brainwashed by the BBC.

Righty-ho Grin

Anyway, I'm not here to argue with you claig. It's all in good humour, and I knew you'd enjoy the effigies if you hadn't seen them already. I'll go back to lurking now. I find these threads fascinating.

claig · 07/11/2016 16:04

'How dare you mention him in the same sentence as Tom Paine'

Good point. That was slightly over the top. Tom Thumb or Tom & Jerry

' It's all in good humour,'

Absolutely. That is what it is all about.

'I'll go back to lurking now. I find these threads fascinating.'

Please don't lurk, stick your oar in, whether you agree or disagree. This is the biggest political earthquake for decades. We the people are on the verge of winning. Tom Paine is smiling down on us and the people of Lewes. It is yuuge. So join in and stick the proverbial boot into the elite with the rest of the people.

Not a bad article in the Spectator, but he doesn't understand that even Trump's "financially brave" was not serious which is why he immediately says "big deal, right?"

"Donald Trump’s sense of humour might win it for him
...
Trump’s levity is a great asset to his campaign, and it might — just might — mean he ends up having the last laugh."

The Trumpsters have the humour, we are having a laugh.

The Establishment side has got all the pops stars, all the Hollywooed stars and of course Tony Blair (they can always count on him) - Jay-Z, Beyonce, Katy Perry etc, but we have got the Stump for Trump Sisters and they are pure gold because they are the people.

Before this election, no one had ever heard of them, but now they are in Heaven's Hall of Fame, adored by Trump fans above any Hollywood or music industry star, even more than Honey G.

OP posts:
claig · 07/11/2016 16:22

Trump doing another hilarious live speech in Florida.

Says this is "our last chance", "we will never get another chance", "get out and vote", says "I did my bit, I worked, folks", now "good luck" and he mocks the lying rigged media announcers as they receive paper notes informing them of how Trump is leading everywhere, their faces glum and sour as we the people beat them everywhere.

It is classic comedy.

OP posts:
claig · 07/11/2016 16:27

Trump in excellent spirits. Great to see. Crowd shouting "Drain the Swamp, Drain the Swamp, Drain the Swamp".

It's a revolution. Who'd have ever thunk it? Who'd have ever thought we would live to see the day when the people held sway over the crooks, cheats and corrupt elites.
