Into the final lap now after over 1 year of entertainment, education and excitement. Donald J Trump is nearly there against all expectations.

From that brief moment when Farage was invited on stage, I got the feeling that DT does not like Farage.

Spinflight · 09/11/2016 09:22

Farage is asking for a place in Trump's administration and says he'll take American citizenship.

Southallgirl · 09/11/2016 09:24

Talking heads on Sky saying that Obama was in overdrive warning people not to vote Trump because "he is not fit" for the job. More like he was trying to throw people off their intuitions so that the $ rake-offs could stay in place, and the well-paid, well-upholstered congress and senate boyos could continue on to more war, more immigration of hostiles and the dream that is open borders.

Spinflight · 09/11/2016 09:26

Trouble is he teabagged Hillary with the same lines in 2008.

She'll say anything to get elected - then 8 years later tried to make out she was perfect in every way.

'From that brief moment when Farage was invited on stage, I got the feeling that DT does not like Farage.'

No, Trump likes Farage a lot. Farage is a hero among real conservatives in America. But Farage disappointed me, he didn't have the bottle to fully back Trump without reservation, he is shocked that crowds of tens of thousands shout "lock her up". That shows he doesn't get it, he hasn't got it. As Trump says "this is not a game".

Farage was better than the rest of the shower in UKIP or among our entire political class, but not good enough.

When the chips were down, when the lying media, the Oxbridge teams and the elites were hitting Trump with everything they had, Trump needed full support, and Farage was not there 100%.

Now the hard work begins, the proof is in the pudding.

Southallgirl · 09/11/2016 09:37

Once political journalists descend into insulting the physical look of candidates, then they have nothing to say. I was surprised that Stephen Glover of the DM talked about how DT purses his lips (like a child) and his hair, because it make a professional writer sound shallow & bitchy. He may well hv done same to Hillllary, but I did not read his article any further because he was scraping the barrel.

claig · 09/11/2016 09:39

'Now the hard work begins, the proof is in the pudding.'

As Trump says "things will be sorted out so fast your head will spin"

"politicians, all talk no action"

"we are led by very, very stupid people, very, very stupid people"

Not any more, folks!

I haven't read the Daily Mail for months now, so I missed that.

The only good ones were Katie Hopkins and Simon Heffer.

Someone upthread said that DT thanked his wives. No, he thanked only his current one, Melania. Ivanka is his daughter. I didnt know that DT is one of 5 sibs.

claig · 09/11/2016 09:45

Yes, his elder brother died of alcoholism. That is why Trump has never had a drink or drugs. His sisters are great.

"Now the hard work begins, the proof is in the pudding."

Aye and he could start by not giving Farage a job as EU ambassador.

I'm no fan of the EU as a few of you well know but appointing Farage would be far too much of a pisstake even for my somewhat warped sensibilities.

Auit · 09/11/2016 09:49

Thank God for Trump, I was terrified warmonger Hillary would get in. We really did just dodge a bullet.

Trump's speech this morning was very consolatory, I think he's going be a good president.

claig · 09/11/2016 09:55

' I was terrified warmonger Hillary would get in. We really did just dodge a bullet.'

Absolutely. But Trump is still not President yet. He has to wait until January, and the globalists are absolutely desperate because some of them will be going to jail.

I've yet to see a credible reason for Hillary destabilizing Libya other than for her own aggrandisement.

claig · 09/11/2016 10:11

'I've yet to see a credible reason for Hillary destabilizing Libya other than for her own aggrandisement.'

Possible charidee pay to play, Qataris, Muslim Brotherhood etc

There was also the Sidney Blumenthal email, the man Obama refused Hillary the right to bein the top circle in the White House administration because he had allegedly tried to smear Obama, about Sarkozy and the French worried that Gaddafi was trying to set up a gold-backed African currency which would impact the Euro etc. Elites all in it together, usual stuff, possible pay for play etc

The whole destabilisation of the Middle East is possibly part of the same pay for play stuff. The real truth about Benghazi may now come out depending on how far Trump wants to go.

Yes, that is one reason and the Qatar oil or gas field pipeline that they wanted to go through Syria to service Europe, but Assad decided to go with the Iranian field option instead. So the elites needed to destroy Syria and create an independent Sunni Caliphate so that the pipeline could go through that to get to Europe. Usual stuff.'
